I love this coat and the color. Unfortunately I was unable to exchange it for a small size since the size I ordered was too big for me. The only option I had was to return it not exchange it. I was very disappointed. I did not return it however I gifted it to my mom whom fell in love with the coat and it fit her perfectly.

I would like it a lot, but down is coming through the outer shell whenever I wear it. Embarrassing and unsightly...

I love the fit and style of the coat. I am just concerned about the 4-5 feathers that have come out of it when I have only worn it twice!

My husband bought this for me. I thought the metropolis parka was much warmer but this had a nicer cut. It depends on how warm you need to be when wearing the jacket.

I love the fit and look of this jacket. It is also very warm and I have tested it out in very cold, light snow weather for walking (not athletic kind of activities). The biggest problem I have with this coat is the static and the shedding. I realized quite quickly when I first wore it that I had things (as in lint, dust, hair, fuzzies, etc.) clinging all over the jacket and also my hair was standing up after I took the coat off from the static. I am hoping there is a way to help this. Also, it sheds tiny feathers quite often or has feathers sticking out of the coat. So, all in all, I'm happy with the warmth, but I do always have a worry in the back of my mind about things sticking to or out from my coat! So, considering the price, even on sale, I'm not sure I would recommend.

love the jacket, but the fit was too small. the next size up was entirely too big. exchanged it for the city metro, which i love love.

I really like this coat, except for the zippers on the pockets. I can barely grab the pull with bare fingers and not at all with gloves on. And, It takes 2 hands to zip because you have to hold down the bottom with 1 hand and pull on the pull with your other hand. Ugh!

I ordered a medium after reading the reviews and taking the size assessment. It is too big in shoulders and hips. I bought the coat online right before xmas and the overnight shipping was free. I also had vip points I used and a $20 promo credit from north face which made this coat under $230 for me. I tried to return online and by phone but I was told that if I returned by mail I would have to forfeit the vip points and promo $ because they do not do even exchange and no stores carry this style coat so it looks like if I want the coat in a different size I am going to have to pay the full price. Disappointed.

I like the coat, but don't like the zipper

I've only had this jacket for about a week or two now, & have notice the stuffing coming out in areas...I have not damaged the jacket so don't understand the tiny holes..I have sent an email asking about the warranty on this jacket, but have yet to hear a response.

Was very excited to receive the jacket but when it arrived I was disappointed with the colour. I had ordered the graphite grey, which was lovely, but the pink lining that initially attracted me to the coat in the first place was very bright and made the coat too casual to wear with smart clothes. Didn't get to try it out in cold weather but seemed very warm. I've exchanged it for a black one so fingers crossed!

I've been looking for a North Face jacket for 3 years. Every time I went to buy one they were already sold out. I purchased this one because I wanted a coat that was stylish, figure flattering (it has a cinched waist) and WARM. I'm 5'2 and weigh about 112 lbs. Unfortunately the waist hit me at an odd place, making me look bulkier than I really am. The cute bubble hem also didn't help. Unfortunately I had to exchange it for the North Face Miss Metro. I'm sure it'll be cute on others, though!!

Love the coat, but what happened to the white emblem I love showing off that I have a north face but miss the white emblem. Please bring it back!

I do like how light the coat is while still being pretty warm. I got this coat because I wanted something longer but this is too long for me. I am a tiny girl, bought size XS and the coat fits everywhere else but it is just a little too long. The coat took about 2 weeks to arrive too. Not entirely happy with this purchase

It seems to be a nice quality jacket but it had to be returned b/c the sleeves were too long and it has somewhat of a bell shape - flared at the bottom a bit - which was not flattering. Also didn't love the hot pink interior (w/ dark grey exterior). A little pink would have been nice, but it was too much. Will have to keep looking.

Though this is a very good coat, it runs extremely small. I would recommend to definitely size up one or two sizes. Hoping and waiting for the next size up to be back in stock.

This coat sheds an Embarrassing amount of feathers! I've been told it happens but I did not realize to this degree. I cant take it into work because the debris gets on all my coworkers things. Other than that its great, I guess. I just have no idea how to get past this, it annoyingly inconvenient to have to vacuum feathers so much. There are no holes and most the time they are not even coming out of the seems.

I'm 5'4" and slim, generally wear a 0-2. My shoulders are broad for my frame but I have no hips. This coat gave me hips. Hips with *corners*. I do not want hips with corners, especially in a down parka. The horizontal stitching further emphasized the Michelin Man look. It was laughably unattractive and unfortunately, because the coat was otherwise warm and cozy, the cinched waist was not adjustable. Thankfully I had also ordered a Thermoball parka. While not as warm, it's far more flattering. Since I live in the Pacific Northwest, I'll happily sacrifice the rarely-needed additional warmth for a more versatile coat. I also found this to run a bit small - had I liked the style, I would most likely have exchanged the XS for a small, to allow more room for layering.

I bought this jacket trying to replace the old one I had that I just couldn't find any more. I definitely tried. I feel like Northface prices are still right up there but the quality just isn't. This coat is not warm. I keep grabbing my old one which the feathers are coming out but decided I didn't care. I miss the detachable hood, the zipper sticks, looks dumpy, and I don't know if I answered the sizing questions correctly because I'm always a small in northface but the small was too small and the medium too big. Not sure if I will keep.

Sleeves felt short, no stretch in shoulders and arms for optimum movement. This is not a comfortable coat. I will be returning it. I like North Face products and styles, however do not find them comfortable. I am 5'4", 130 lbs. While I am in shape, it would be nice if more stretch could be incorporated in the outdoor gear for maximum movement of active people. And please add an inch to the upper arm, shoulder/armpit area. A coat sitting up in the armpit is not comfortable.

I liked the "Frosted Blue". The stock photo is pretty and the same on other screens. Stock photo and description do not match the color of the coat I received. It is GRAY. Iridescence is pink/purple. Lining is thin. Sticky zipper. I like the hood and the warmth. Arrived with 3 dark spots: 2 on a sleeve, 1 near pocket. I'm a bit disappointed in the quality. It isn't anything like my other NF coats.

Not flattering, the waist area looks nice and goes in but then it puffs out below the waist in a way that makes your hips look huge! Returning for a different style.

I should have read all the reviews before purchasing. I agree with some of reviews that the style is weird. It gathers in at the waist in a way that made it flare out too much at the hips. Does not look attractive at all. I typically wear size 2 or small. Maybe this jacket is not made for slim people.

I was excited to get this parka, and on sale. Zappos is great, but this style is not. It nips in at the waist and makes my hips look huge/stick way out. I am almost always a medium in any coat - 5'4, 120 pounds but 36b chest. It fit ok around the middle but was tight in the sleeves and felt tight under my armpits. Maybe would fit someone with no curves or super skinny.

I was very disappointed when I received this coat. The pocket on the right side had a huge hole in it. If course I am returning it.
