I bought this to layer under my theta, beta, zeta and sawyer jackets. Best insulating layer you could buy in my opinion. Done

Klare Kaufempfehlung.

I wore this hoody WAY more than I expected over the last year. It has had a lot of use, and still looks great. It is extremely versatile - I've used it:
1) in Victoria BC where it's an excellent fall-winter-spring
jacket. Occasionally I pair it with a rain jacket, and I really
don't need anything else.
2) for fieldwork in Kugluktuk/Cambridge Bay, Nunavut
(November and April-June). In temperatures of about
-5/-10C, I could wear this hoody with a fleece and neck
warmer, and need nothing else to stay warm. In REALLY
cold temperatures, it was a fantastic layer under a parka.
The jacket holds up to rain and wind better than I expected. While down obviously isn't great when it's wet, I have sometimes been caught out in the rain. The hoody is somewhat water resistant, so I'm fine unless it's pouring. Likewise, it's not windproof. When it's very windy you can feel exactly where the seams are located, but that takes more wind than I expected.
The pockets are great- they zip shut and are large enough for a smartphone and your hand.
I wear a size M, which is typical for me.

I love wearing my Cerium hoody jacket ..day to day use /or hiking in cool to cold weather
Impressive insulation for such a lightweight jacket!
In severe weather....cold ,wind or rain the Beta shell completes the outfit ...
My once in a lifetime purchase.
The Cerium zippier seems lightweight ...no problems yet
after10 months of usage .

I like how you can hardly tell you are wearing arc'teryx products but they work so good.

I have had this jacket for some time, i bought another since this one was so good. It is THE perfect insulating layer for cold conditions but works brilliant as a quick cover during ski tour stops or climbing belays. Packs to the size of a beercan and weighs nothing. The synthetic shoulders and forearms are ideal for light snow or precip, digging a snowpit etc.

This is a great jacket used throughout year and will always keep you warm. The only bad thing I have found about it it is a very loud material when it rubs on its self. I used it for a intermediate layer hunting and it was something to keep in mind

This jacket does it all! I have used it for running errands to camping in the snow to summiting mountains in Oregon and California. It is easily the warmest coat for its weight I have ever owned!

I've owned this jacket for roughly a year now and have nothing but great things to say about it. The fit is athletic, so if you're questionable about the size I would go up. I'm 6' and roughly 265 with very broad shoulders. I bought the 2XL and it fits almost to perfectly as I can't layer to much underneath. As with all my Arc'Teryx gear, top notch quality.

This is an awesome jacket. I am 5.10 185lbs with a bit broader shoulders and the large fits me perfectly. Had many compliments on it. Will pe perfect for layering on cooler days.

Very light and perfect for backpacking as it packs down to the size of a water bottle. Very warm during cold weather and layers perfectly with a hardshell.

Such a great piece of gear, perfect for warm Canadian winter days as well as for spring and fall. serves as a warm mid layer too. fits great! comfortable. fits as sized but perhaps on the small end. Sometimes large is a tad bit too big but this fits perfectly. A-little scared to take it climbing as limestone is sharp and can easily rip jacket, but I have and functionality and comfort are 100%

This jacket is the best choice when hiking in cold conditions. Its warm, lightweight, comfortable and its easy to pack to its own pocket. It fits also a city and make it a every day jacket. My best purchase what i have done.

Surprisingly warm lightweight jacket. I am 5'10" 165lbs and originally bought a medium. It was too tight in the arms, armpits and didn't fit over a thick sweater. The large is a little large for most outings, but I never worry if I want to throw it over my dress suit to walk to the car/mail.
In this weight jacket I wish I would not have bought a hoody, however, if I'm walking to parking garage after work I can throw up the hood and really makes this jacket warm. Hood is great for those days the weather turns colder or you're outside longer than you planned. If you only wearing short distances or plan to wear it while driving I would skip the hood. Keep the hood for the SV line.

In addition to this hoodie, I also own the Cerium SV hoodie, Cerium LT vest and Ceres SV parka. The Cerium LT hoodie was my first purchase and mine is about four seasons old. In my opinion, this hoodie functions as described.
One particular aspect that I appreciate about this particular design is the little bit of fabric that comes in contact with my chin when the zipper is fully zipped. This little bit of fabric is clutch for any man that doesn't shave his face on a regular basis yet wears the hoodie often. If you happen to have the Cerium SV hoodie, you would wish that this fabric flap found in the Cerium LT hoodie was also designed into the Cerium SV hoodie!
The five-o-clock stubble will act like velcro in the Cerium SV hoodie and will literally pull out/ball up nylon where the jacket is in contact contact with my face. Not so with the LT hoodie. That little flap of fabric saves the jacket and my face.
Warmth wise, for me, the lower threshold for this jacket is right around five degrees centigrade dry unless I throw a shell over it and use the LT hoodie as a mid layer. There is rare occasion down loss, however down loss is common for any down jacket/hoodie Arc'Teryx or otherwise. This hoodie also compacts to a very small size.

I bought this jacket to go hiking. I love it so much that I wore the jacket everyday last Winter for running around town.
This jacket is the warmest and lightest that I own. I hate Winter so much and this jacket made my life bearable. I would throw out all of my fashion jackets for more of these if I had not spent so much money on the other jackets.
I can wear a singlet under the jacket in 10 degrees Celsius and be perfectly warm. I don't feel like I am struggling under a lot of weight and layers when I wear the jacket.
I can pack the jacket into the hidden pocket bag and pop it in my handbag if I am not wearing it.
I have had no shedding problems despite owning it for a year.
Washing just fluffed it up and made the jacket warmer.
The fit is perfect. (Well slightly tight around the bust but I am busty so good enough.) I normally wear an AU16 so I bought an XL. I can wear a sports top and a polar fleece under the jacket during minus degree nights.
The only downside is that I get hot in the jacket when I am exercising and there is no ventilation for sweat or condensation from my body heat. However, I don't care about this. Vented jackets are colder and I would rather have a warm jacket that I can unzip when necessary.
