I bought this a few weeks ago. Now that it's started to rain, you can see all the dark feather down through the jacket. I'm quite disappointed this was overlooked in the design process. My advice is to choose a dark coloured jacket so that this does not happen to you.

Numerous feathers poked out in the back very often. It's very ugly and will loose warm. For the price of the jacket I was very disappointed in the quality, even my another budget one has no such problem.

I bought this jacket as a treat to myself last Christmas as a needed a lightweight insulated down layer for the long shoulder seasons in the Canadian arctic and backpacking trips. It is lighweight and packs down well but you can only use it if you plan on just sitting in it or doing commuting. I have only used it for some light activity and usually under a shell, despite this I still have several large rips that shed feathers that I've had to tape up. Severally disappointed as I love all of my other Arc'teryx gear.

After reading several reviews, I settled on this jacket. I own many Arc'teryx products and have always loved the excellent quality. I'm sad to say this was a huge (expensive) mistake. The "lightweight yet durable" fabric is about as durable as tissue paper. Walking up to my lodge room the other night I accidentally brushed against a bush which put a hole in my jacket. The warranty doesn't cover wear and tear and now I'm afraid to wear this jacket anywhere. This jacket might be okay for around town but not remotely suitable for even the most casual hike.

The only reason that I gave 1 star for this product was for its look and warmth. Yeah, it looks great and truly light weight down jacket and it does work to keep you warm. HOWEVER, the quality does not seem to be even close to ANY of Arcteryx's products. I own several jackets from Arcteryx, none of them is poorly made like this one. If you put it up and look at this Jacket through a light you can see big holes in seam and the feathers seep out from all over the body! I got this one this December and only wear it in the city. I definitely concern about its durability and would not recommend it to anyone who needs it for outdoors.

The hoodie simply loses too many of its down feathers. My backpack appeared as if a goose had slept on it.

I purchased this jacket online last June, 2018. I wear this jacket a couple of times a week for city use. I have nothing but issues with the goose feather coming out from everywhere. I watched some Youtube videos on how to push them back in but I got so fed up with doing it every other week. My right arm now has a tiny hole with feathers coming out. They need to use another outer material to keep feathers from coming out.

I recently got this jacket a few months ago but have been very disappointed with this jacket. The Goose down is coming out from all directions, I understand that the down comes out a little bit in this jacket. But at the rate it is coming out in this jacket, I feel that within few months I will not have much down left in the jacket to keep me insulated. Also, it looks very awkward when you see white stuff protruding from your jacket everytime. This is a fairly expensive jacket so you would imagine a high quality material for this jacket and low maintenance but that is not the case. I should have just bought an Eddie Bauer jacket with 1/4 the cost. I would never recommend this jacket. Please note that I have a few other items from Arc'teryx but never had any such issue.

This is a very lightweight and warm jacket. It's packable, which is great for traveling and commuting. The price point is steep which is expected given the brand's typical quality and design, however, after owning this jacket for about 3 months the down feathers are spilling out everywhere. I'm astonished at how poor the quality is, given the price, and wish I hadn't purchased.

I've been a big fan of the brand and own another heavier jacket, the Fission SV and it is fantastic. This lightweight down jacket is very disappointing, feathers are escaping from day one. Not exceptable for a jacket at this price. Fit also runs small.

I have owned one of these jacket for three weeks and it has leaked a lot of down. Ellis Brigham say this is perfectly normal and won't refund. Maybe it is maybe it isn't but if i was aware when I bought it it was going to have down poking through the seems when I wear it I wouldn't have spent all that money on it.

This is a review of the older version which lacked drawstrings at the hem - still being sold by various e-tailers. Fit - No drawstrings at hem - cold air gets sucked in Cuffs not snug fitting - cold air gets sucked in Well fitting hood and lightweight - comfortable! Features - Adjustments for hood - good! No adjustment at hem - Why?? Not-so-smooth zippers - Pain! Value - Comfortable + Cold air ingress + Difficult zipper + 400 = NOT worth it!

I've owned mine 2 months, torn twice already. I'm not hard on my stuffI have a desk job, I haven't even taken it to the great outdoors. The shell tears like wet toilet paper. Do yourself a favor and buy something more durable. This was my first and likely my last Arcteryx jacket.

I've got a ton of arcteryx pieces which fit my thin frame perfectly. So I was super disappointed to find this doesn't have a drawstring at the hem. I get that they're trying to save weight, but in my opinion they're losing out on customers who it might not fit perfectly but could make it work with a drawstring. Sigh. I guess I'll have to go for the Patagonia down sweater hoody.

I am so disappointed about arcteryx's quality in this down jacket. The down keep leaking out every day. It seems that the down leaking won't stop. Perhaps after few months wearing, the jacket will true to the Arcteryx's name.(remain bones)

I purchased this hoody on December 2015. I trusted Arcteryx's quality, since I have very positive experience with the hardshell jackets and middle layer. However, this Cerium LT hoody, keeps leaking down. I'm not sure whether it can maintain the same level of warmth as promised after several months. Quite disappointed!!

To begin I will mention that I own a lot of Arc'Teryx gear including two goretex proshells, two soft shells, two fleeces and two packs. I have been pleased with the performance of these products and would buy them again. I bought this hoody as a mid-layer for when I travel to the Arctic and to use for snowboarding and other outdoor winter activities. I find it gets too hot if you engage in an activity that provides mild exertion like walking fast or even sitting in a vehicle at -10 celsius, where one's back makes contact with the seat. In these circumstances, when I take the shell off the inside is wet and beads of moisture are visible. If the vehicle gets stuck and I have to dig snow, this thing can't be worn because it will make me sweat a lot and it will get wet. All in all, I find the Cerium LT to be useless because of its lack of versatility. If you are going to stand around in temperatures below -10 celsius it will do a fine job at mainting your core's temperature. However, if you are going to engage in activities that require some exertion look elsewhere.
