I got this jacket as a Christmas present for myself in the colour Momentum. I layered this with my winter jacket during hikes and I am loving it as a spring jacket right now. It is quite breathable and I have washed it a handful of times and have not noticed any pilling. This works as a great mid layer because it is form fitting and not too heavy. I highly recommend it! The deep pockets are also a big plus!

I needed a soft-shell and the Kyanite fit the bill. The Polartec material is warm, breathable, and has the right amount of elasticity. Arc'teryx did a great job on the fit: it's athletic and tapered through the mid-section. I'm 5'10", 180lbs and like the fit of the Large (allows for layers underneath, but not too baggy when worn without layers). I also like the interior pocket. All in all, very pleased and would highly recommend.

I purchased the Kyanite jacket to keep me warm under my Atom LT and was immediately impressed. Like all Arc'Teryx pieces it's really well made but I wasn't prepared for how comfortable it was! I immediately ordered another in a different colour and I honestly wear them all the time. I'm planning on getting a few more and can't recommend them highly enough. Love these fleeces!

This sweater is super comfy and super soft. It's great for a mid layer for higher output activities in cold temps and it's been my go to outer layer for runs on cool days (I bought 2 to rotate them through the week). For days hovering between -5C to 5C I wear a merino base layer with the kyanite on top and it's the perfect combo for longer runs. But it's also so easy wearing/not too technical looking to just wear around the house because it's just so comfy. Do yourself a solid and get one.

Got this fleece sweater in Orion & Black. It's extremely comfortable and soft. it's super stretchy too. I wear the Kyanite with my Atom SL in the spring/fall and it's just a great combo. For colder winters, I wear this fleece with my Veilance Anneal Down Jacket and it's just super light. I think this has to be one of the most recommended item to my friends & family for sweaters from Arc'teryx. This fleece may be a bit prone to pilling from shafing however, the versatility of this sweater is super convenient. To be honest, I think this sweater fits a tad bit small because of the stretchy Polartec fleece. I've washed it a few times already and I don't think it has shrunk or at least it wasn't noticeable.

I've had this product for about 3 months now, which I've used it in hikes, errands, and even lounging in. In my experience this is probably the most versatile fleece jacket I've ever owned. It's soft, warm, stylish, and so comfortable! It's great on its own or as an inner layer - I've layered this with my atom lt hoodie in 25 degree weather and felt just fine (Disclaimer: I'm used to this weather being from the Midwest!), so it goes to show how warm it can be without much bulk. I'm on the smaller side, 5'3", 133lbs, and this fits me perfectly in an XS

Got this as a mid layer to fit either under my Beta AR Jacket and Atom AR Jacket depending on my activity! I'm 5'10" 190lbs with a fit body type. The medium fits perfectly! I could wear this jacket as a stand alone as well in cooler dry weather as well if needed. The medium fits great under my medium Atom jacket and my Large Beta AR jacket. Highly recommend it if you're looking for a light weight mid layer that will keep you at the perfect temperature but is versatile enough to as is.

So in love I bought 2 in different colors! Slim fitting but not to tight. Stand-alone spring layer. Under my puffy in the winter. Doesn't get smelly quick. I look good in this too!!

I've had a few Power Stretch pieces. The weight and cut are right on and the pockets location are useful with a pack on. I'm 6'4" and have 36" arm length and the Large fits perfectly.

I bought this as a fleece mid layer for under my rain jacket during these chilly fall months and I couldn't be happier with it. Excellent cut, I feel like it hugs me just right. Phenomenally soft fleece that keeps me perfectly warm. Would suggest everyone have a mid layer jacket like this one. My only complaint, which is entirely on me and nothing to do with Arc'teryx, I wish I would have purchased a small. I lean more towards small when I want a warm base layer, and mediums for outer layering and this time I bought a medium when I should have gone small. It still fits me great, I just wish it was a little tighter fit for keeping out draft.

Just purchased this fleece jacket and was happy with it after having an opportunity to inspect and wear. The soft jacket that fits nicely, not too slim or loose fit. Don't expect to order your normal size if you intend to wear it over a sweater. For reference I'm 5'-6", weigh 170 lbs., 40" chest, 32" waist, and 32/33 sleeve and the medium fit nicely. I can wear a button down shirt or polo under the jacket and it fits nicely. The quality seems to be really good compared to other fleece jackets I have owned previously. I have full range of motion with the jacket and the sleeves fit well when I raise my arms. I got the color Cobalt Sun and it looks like a bright Royal Blue online but it was a little duller in reality, which I actually like better (a little more conservative and can wear at work). I'm happy with the product.

I've had this jacket for about 6 weeks and it's been used mainly as a layering piece but occasionally on its own as a warm layer. I'm 5.9 and wear a size M, the fit is perfect. The longer length at the back means it doesn't ride up, there is no readjusting needed. I love that it's stretchy, it doesn't feel like you're wearing a fleece. My one complaint is that after wearing it once while carrying a daypack, the back of the jacket is now pilled. I was expecting it to be more durable.

The most comfortable, effective fleece I have ever had. Perfect for layering under a ski jacket, or for warmth while hiking, or just as a jacket to take camping in summer. My go-to adventure layering piece. A few minor issues though with the fabric, zipper and cut. The fabric does pill somewhat, so it doesn't look as fresh as when I first got it only a few months ago. The zipper also will only "hold" closed at the top or at 2 specific spots, otherwise will run itself down to the bottom. This is obviously a deliberate design choice, and works fine as long as you are happy with the zipper to be open, closed or in one of those 2 positions. Unfortunately for me the combination of where those zipper stops, and the way the slightly too long collar flopping over means this jacket is not super flattering on me. It means that its not my go-to jumper for wearing around town on a cool day, which is a real shame because it feels great and works well, just doesn't look as great! But super fit for purpose and will wear any day in the mountains where I don't care about how I look so much.

The sleeves are really long considering the rest of its proportions. The fabric is highly prone to pilling/fuzzing up with any friction from normal daily activity, and especially when put in contact with even slightly rough stone. I would not recommend this product if you care about such things. Also, the fabric is a very stretchy and light fleece, not dense or hefty like I thought it would be. This is not necessarily a negative, just a surprise.

I just love this fleece. I ended up buying a second one in a different colour to go with my Arteryx jacket (dimma). The first one I bought was size small (labyrinth) and the second is medium which allows me to wear a heavier sweater underneath it. They are both wonderful.
