Styling is great, but comfort is lacking. I've been wearing Brooks lately and found their comfort top notch, but wanted to try something different. This being my first pair of Asics, I'm a bit disappointed in their comfort. Shoes are narrower than normal and don't have the relaxed feel of a Brooks shoe. The foam is really stiff and has good rebound while running/working out, but gets uncomfortable when doing everyday activities. I will say that the styling is great...it's a really good looking shoe...but it doesn't make up for the fact that it's uncomfortable for everyday use. If you're looking for a shoe just to run in, this isn't bad. If you'd like something you can wear in the gym and while running errands, look elsewhere.

The 24 4E is a 1/2" smaller than the 23 4E at it's widest point in the toe box. that wasnt very good for me since i need the wide toe box to help prevent a Morton's neuroma from forming. hopefully getting a larger size will solve the problem, otherwise, im going to need to find another shoe.

These were too tight across my husband's top of his foot. He prefers the gel nimbus. He returned them.

I sent this shoe back, just could not get behind the one color that was offered in the 4E, and I believe you have not really addressed the smaller fit, even in 4E this shoe and the Nimbus Cloud 19 are just not as wide, but love the shoe in general..guys fix this and you will open the market up.

The shoes were fine. The cost was about 20% higher than if I had purchased them locally due to the shipping cost. Live and learn.

So if you have a neutral 4e foot, your running shoe choices are limited. I have previously worn the Gel Cumuls in size 11 and they fit great. When i switched to the Kayano, i assumed the sizing would be the same. It is not. The Kayano is a bigger shoe and this size11 fits very poorly.

I've had this shoe for more than a few months now and I can't even wear it anymore. The entire shoe is beautiful and incredible except for its insole which provides zero cushion. The bottom of my feet are killing me and I had to change back to my GT-2000 which are purchased a few months prior to buying these; it was a less expensive shoe but provided a much better cushion. Generally ASICs need to work on providing a better insole. It's a big, big problem.

I have been buying Kayanos for as long as l remember because they fit my feet the best and help my knees to stay injury free. Over the years the shoe became more and more expensive and really has not changed to reflect or justify the extra money. IMHO, quality and longevity have decreased. In a nutshell, too expensive for how long it lasts.

Still wish there was more cushioning and the toe box still needs to be a little wider.

Hi, I only started using ASICS shoes for running because of the great cushioning technology. I am completely unsatisfied with the foot cushion on this shoe. I am actually thinking of getting a different brand running shoe because of this problem. This problem needs to be looked into as urgent priority.

I have worn several different iterations of the ASICS Kayano for many years. Unfortunately the ASICS GEL-Kayano 24 are not the same line of shoe. The toe box is narrower and the feel of a gel comfort is missing. I love the look, but they are just not comfortable on my feet.

Fell in love with Asics with the Gel Evolution 6. So much so I ordered multiple pairs for years of supportive running. I'm finally on my last pair and have to order new, and or course manufacturer discontinued the Evolution 6 and offers the Gel Kayano 24 for overpronators. Disappointing shoe in both looks, fit and overall finish. Although length remains "true to size", width has decreased from previous shoes. So what was a great fit at EE now has to move into EEEE. Quality control? Will now try the Hoka One One, but Asics lost my business. Disappointing.
I'd also recommend:
Hoka One One, Saucony

I have been wearing Kayanos for 10+ years. I have a bad lower back and it's the only shoe that reduces the shock enough to make it tolerable. Loved Kayanos up until the 19 edition. That shoe had lost it's cushioning and felt cheap. They fixed it on the 21/22 and they were GREAT! Then they changed it again on the 23/24 and now they hurt my back because they either use less GEL or maybe the FlyteFoam is too light and less absorbing of impact. I don't know, I'm not a shoe designer. I just HOPE they correct it on the 25 and bring back the cushioning.

I used to buy Kayano's every year. 23 was a little big in the toe area but perfect otherwise. For me, the 24 is still as stiff on the sole as the day I bought them. They're now on around 400km and they haven't loosened up at all. I can't roll my foot when running from heel to toe because the shoe doesn't allow it. Instead it slaps down because of the ultra hard plastic anti pronate element to the shoe. It's the same as on the 23 I believe, but something's changed in the 24 and I can't use them anymore. Changing to brooks adrenaline this time after a friend recommended them. The 24 is very comfortable though, but not good for me anymore.

Not really comfortable in walking! It feels like you're in a feet massage with hard spheres.

Just poor, not what I expected from past GEL shoes from Asics. I most likely will not be a customer in the future. I compared these shoes to my old Asics and the old ones still have more GEL and comfort. This company is changing, and not for the best. Quality is just getting bad. I most likely will not be a customer in the future

These are the worst running sneakers I have ever owned/worn. The support is atrocious, causing all sorts of foot pain after running - the pain is short and long term. The more I ran with them, the more my feet hurt. I haven't had foot pain like this since working in restaurants and being on my feet all day, every day. These expensive shoes were a waste of money and are now best for mowing the lawn. Don't buy them if you care about foot pain!

I've worn Asics for years, and unfortunately, they are not the same anymore. Asics was ALWAYS the best--what happened? The Kayano 24 has no cushion at all and like another reviewer said, they fit so weird and inconsistent. I've bought about 4 colors in the same size and they all fit differently. But beyond that, there is no cushion to this version at all. I feel like I'm wearing two cardboard blocks. When I press on the blue sole in the shoe, it is hard as a rock. It should not feel this way. I don't see how I can run or even walk in these. I really hope the 25 will be a return to form; softer, wider toe box, etc. This version is a huge fail. The colors are amazing, though. If only the fit and comfort matched the colors, I'd have my dream sneaker. But no, this is not the case. The Kayano 24 is one of the reasons I can't wear Asics and have not for at least a full 2 years.
