Excellent shoes. I've been wearing Kayanos for almost 20 years. Great all-round shoe. I find they are really comfortable for 'neutral runners' too. And at the end of their useful training/running life (which is very long) they are still great everyday walking shoes. I have used sorbothane insoles for the last 15 years, which are amazing for cushioning impacts and make the shoe even more comfortable, at the expense of a little additional weight, but for me that's an acceptable trade-off; no pain or shin-splints. However, in the Kayano 24, when using the latest design sorbothane double strike insole (in place of the original ASICS insole), the foot sits a little high, and does move up and down as you walk. This is not really a design issue, as the shoe was intended to be work with the asics insole. However, it may be useful to try the shoe with any after-market insoles you normally use, to ensure the fit remains right. I would definitely recommend this shoe to others, especially people who require a cushioned ride :)

Definitely takes some breaking in but a solid stability shoe. Would recommend. Sole wears out quickly though if you are a regular runner.

I bought these a month ago, fit great and comfortable.

Had a foot problem, bought these to help correct it. So far so good.

Second pair for my son. He wears them for running and walking. Plus work in good weather. The only issue I have with the shoes is that the sole didn't make a full year.

Back of pack jogger who used to be a runner! New Kayanos are a bit heavy, but at my pace who cares. Good support and room in the toe box. Nice low key design too.

So far so good. Very comfortable and light weight!

This is my third pair of ASICS-GEL Kayano 24's. I use them for running and they have never failed me in firm fitting and comfort.

Love the shoe. 18 years and counting. Feels great on the track and in the city. It is the only shoe I wear daily. I made the mistake of buying a black one for the first time. My foot burns from the hot sun. I wish I could return it, but they only had a white shoe with a bright orange bottom, not conservative enough for me to wear to work. Now I'm going to buy the 25 in white and keep this as a back-up for when the weather is cooler.

I like the 22, but I'm a Physical Therapist who's on his feet running back and forth between treating patients. I really noticed a difference with the cushioning from the 22's and less with the 24's. My knees and back tell the story!

Wish I had more colors in my 8-4E size! Tired of silver and black. Might have to look in another brand with the pronation and wide. Have 4 silver and black That are great. Just would like a color change please.

Bought a few weeks ago, and am happy with the sneakers. I had a pair from a few years ago, and found the new pair to be just as good. The black fabric color is a little different than standard black, but it works in the end

The 23 where terrible and the 24 got a little better in the fit. They need to go back a few models before they screwed it up on the 23

A roomy and comfortable fit, if a little lightweight

Could have been made much better with more patience . You could see the traces of glue on the sides and it is not make to perfection

Front sole doesn't have enough cushion. Disappointing only one color option.

I have a pair of Kayano 24's and they are snug, but acceptable. I bought another pair and ended up returning as they were just too tight. Now I see that Asics has brought out the Kayano 25, which supposedly has more room in the toe area. This is great, I've yet to try, but the colors offered are lousy. Would like to see the colors offered in the 24 available in the 25's.

Overall a great shoe but I never thought I would describe a shoe as heavy. This shoe is noticeably heavy compared to a under armor or Nike shoe
