SAS shoes are expensive but worth it because they saved my feet. When I wore cheaper shoes, I developed foot pain. But after wearing these, the pain went away. The shoes are comfortable, fit well and are durable. I wore my last pair every day for a year.

I put the SAS Journey mesh on and I knew this was the one I was looking for. I tried many shoes and they didn't work. No big deal on finding my size of a 7.5W. I just couldn't find one that worked. Thanks to Zappo's patience and the SAS fit, I knew this was the shoe for me. Thanks to Zappos and thanks to SAS comfort was A+, perfect width in a quality shoe.

I only buy SAS shoes. They are the best shoes and they're made in the USA.

I walk a lot. Maybe 150 to 300 miles a month. Wanted a U.S. made shoe and comfort is the top priority. Only had shoes a few weeks but very pleased.

I'm a senior woman with R/A in my feet so wearing shoes has become uncomfortable for me. I purchased these men's sneakers because they are wider than the women's version and they are comfortable, my feet no longer hurt after being on them for hours running errands. Best part for me is that they come in Navy Blue. FYI: If you're a women and need a wider shoe and purchase a man's shoe you will have to adjust your normal woman's size to a smaller wider man's size.

When I was in 7th grade my mom would let us spend $30 on a new pair of shoes before school started each year. If we wanted a more expensive shoe we had to pay the difference. Well, we were at the Lake of the Ozarks at the outlet mall circa 1994 when I found a pair of Nike black and purple Kevin Johnson's. I had to have them and I did. It depleted my savings but those were my all-time favorite shoes until 2016 when I bought the SAS Journey Mesh Velcro Edition. In fact I'm wearing them right now. Unbelievable comfort, build quality, and stability. I honestly don't think I'll ever buy another model of shoe. The best part is these shoes never smell bad. I don't know if they treat them with something or they just have good airflow or what. I can't explain it, I just observe it. I've worn these shoes probably 1500 days now and they've held up really well. I usually wear out the heels on my shoes (unevenly due to an improper stride or so I've been told) but the heel on these looks 90% like the day I bought them. These cost more than Nikes or New Balances, but they're worth every penny. Besides the quality, you know exactly where these are built and the employees are paid a fair wage.

These shoes from SAS are by far the best made in the USA . Long lasting and comfortable from start to finish . The arch support for me is best of any shoe brand i have tried. These shoes keep my old feet Happy. Thank you.... SAS & Zappos Joe Nilsen

I purchased these walking shoes for my husband who was in need of a durable and comfortable walking sneaker because he usually ends up tearing through 1-2 pairs a year and they are never overly supportive. So, I looked beyond the well-known brands and found the SAS brand on Zappos.com. My husband calls them his “old man shoes” but he also says they are the most comfortable sneaker he has ever worn! They are a solid shoe with excellent arch support and I am hopeful they will last. It should also be noted that these are made in America which is a bonus.

These are the most comfortable tennis shoes I have purchased. They offer solid lateral support for tennis, do not slide much on the courts or walkways, and are very stable and secure for both walking and running. The only issue I have with the shoes are the inserts, which provides little arch support. I understand that SAS cannot make a standard support insert; so I purchased two from another supplier, which solved the problem. I strongly recommend this sneaker to anyone who wants high quality at a reasonable price.

The Journey Mesh is a great sneaker. I have chemo induced neuropathy and these shoes feel like they were made specifically to ease my neuropathic pain! I also own a pair of SAS casual leather shoes that are as comfortable as they are good looking.

A perfect fit for my long narrow foot. Being a woman with a long narrow foot requiring men's shoes most of the time, it is great to have a truly supportive walking shoe with more support than the average walking shoe. The shoe will last a long time, and I bought 2 pair, but in different colors. FYI, they are well made so are heavier than most walking shoes of today. I would recommend these shoes to walkers who want a good supportive shoe, not a shoe that might have more style, but be of lighter usage.

As an Octogenarian, I find it more and more difficult to find shoes that feel comfortable, give support and help with things like balance and 'sure footedness. So far, these have been great.
