I have worn SAS shoes for many years and recently decided to try a half size larger in a wide width. This didn’t pan out. The shoes were way too big and actually clunked down when I walked. I loved the color and style of the shoe but it was a no go. I recently ordered my true size which felt a little small when I received them. Oh well. The shoes are great shoes but at this time not for me. The shoes are heavy, about one pound per shoe but that is what they have always been. I will keep trying.

I have bad feet and as such a hard time walking; a hard time standing. I'm hesitant to have corrective surgery. I've bought inserts as well as shoes made for prople with bad feet. Some worked okay, but not great. I read about SAS on line and decided to give them a try. Instant relief. I now own two pair. The shoes are made in America too. Cant say that about too many brands.

I've been buying SAS shoes for about 9 years as a diabetic with neuropathy SAS is the only shoes that I can wear because I have wide feet it took me a lot of suffering before I finally listened to my wife and bought some SAS shoes I tell anyone I no with feet problems to try your product and people have thanked me for telling them about SAS so I want to thank you all at SAS. This is a very comfortable shoe. I am not able to get a ladies shoe in my hard to fit size but able to get this man's shoe in narrow which fits me. These are well made, pricey but worth it to me to get something well made in my size.

I’ve been wearing SAS shoes for years. The fit, style and comfort have always been there. This time I tried Zappos and the SAS Journey was there in a mesh style with grey accents. I love them and the mesh hopefully will make them feel a little lighter and more breathable So far so good.

Comfortable for walking and driving so unlike other shoes I've owned seem to be extremely well made and appear that they will hold up.

I ordered narrows. These are very firm and heavy athletic shoes, but I had been advised by my podiatrist that I would benefit from Motion Control shoes, and I loved the style (sporty and yet subtle). By adding over the counter half shoe arch supports to these with the insole that came with the shoe they are perfectly stabilizing and provide the most motion control of any of the athletic shoes I tried. I started to return these thinking they just weren't comfortable enough, but decided to wear them around the house a few days (very gently) and found the hamstring pain I had been experiencing for the last year disappear! Wow. Worth the extra 3 ounces of weight. Also, the stiffer soles take some getting used to. I have now worn them every other day with the more flexible Mizuno Wave Horizon 4's with professionally made full sole orthotics replacing the sole that came with them. The Mizuno's are lighter weight, but don't provide quite the motion control. These are made in the USA which is a plus for me. High quality including a 2nd set of laces. SASshoes.com
I'd also recommend:
Mizuno, Asics, New Balance

I bought these for my 79 year old dad who needs some extra support. I had never heard of the brand and just went off of reviews. We were both surprised at how much he liked these shoes and how well they supported his foot. This was a great find!

I love this shoe. Super comfortable. Before this I was wearing New Balance sneakers. They were OK, but the SAS Men's Journey sneaker has the New Balance 990's beat has down for comfort.

I developed a left foot problem with pain just behind the toes. Had to get special inserts to help with the pain. Went to a double wide model and it works great for playing tennis in them.
