I have extremely wide feet, and this is the best shoe I've kept buying this same one for ~8+ years at this point. While they are certainly not the cheapest shoe you'll find, the value is there. They are a little tight the first 2-3 times wearing them, but after broken in they are the most comfortable shoe money can buy. Long story short: You get what you pay for. Highly recommend these to anyone with 1. Wide feet, and 2. Anyone who must stand 8 hours a day at work like me.

I require a fuller toe space than this conventional, more pointed style affords, so I am exchanging them. Otherwise, they felt true to width and length and fit well.

These SAS shoes are absolutely the most comfortable shoes in the world! SAS used to just make super comfy, yet super unattractive shoes for the elderly, but now they have these! They look great and I have tried every other high quality shoe and nothing comes close to these SAS's. Note, I got the widest ones they make - I am pretty sure you cannot get shoes in this width in any store. Also, Zappos is ridiculously great to order from!

These shoes cause leg and back pain. The back (heel) end is too high compared to the front (toe) end.

Great shoes. Fit is exacting to the half size. Zappos is the best retailer I have ever dealt with. Don’t know how they do it but I won’t buy shoes anywhere else. They stay with you until you get it right. Thank you Zappos!

These are the best shoes for your feet! Perfect in every way. They are shaped to fit your feet. Most shoes your feet have to mold to the shape of the shoes. These shoes have excellent support, and they have a mesh so you can wear them them the whole day and your feet do not sweat.

My husband’s favorite shoes. He didn’t want to part with the money, as we’ve not had the greatest of luck with finding shoes he really likes, that are comfortable, and that hold up. We had a little extra funds and I ordered them. He put them on and the look on his face was priceless. There was room at the toes, room throughout, yet snug enough that they were fitted to his feet. He was having issues with a big toe, and those issues went away within the next few days. These are more pricey than any other shoes we’ve bought, besides his work boots, but he’s finally found comfortable shoes and his feet have never felt better. Speaking of work boots...SAS...please look into making a full line of comfortable work boots, we especially need a pair that’s lightweight, no insulation, and cooling for hot weather areas.

These shoes seem to fit tighter across the forefoot and more loosely around the heel, which is a problem. Nevertheless, they generally are very good walking shoes.

Size was, perfect, width in the toe box area was great, but around the arch area was to big, hard soles, with foot problems could not walk in shoe.

i do farm and woodworking and are on my feet about 18 hours a day these are expensive but are the most comfortable shoe i have ever worn my boots now are saved for bad weather

I like the style of this shoe, but it felt heavy compared to any other sneaker I've ever owned and 1/2 size smaller. I will try to order the same shoe a half size bigger and deal with the weight of the shoes. I really like them

I was looking for a lower profile athletic shoe that still provided some stability at the ankle and this shoe really hit those marks. I wanted a cushier footbed so I used my own insert after removing the insole that came with the shoe. In terms of size, a 9.5 WW was too long so I went down a half size, but there wasn’t a huge difference in length. Will mention I’m female with very painful feet, so I buy SAS men’s Journey sneaker bc it has a higher instep to fit my foot more comfortably, yet still a bit lower profile around the ankles.

These are my new favorite shoes. Everything you could want in a pair of walking shoes, comfortable enough to walk for long distances and your feet will be the least tired part of you.

This is the only shoe my husband can wear with his neuropathy. Great fit

This is the about the 5th or 6th time my husband has purchased this shoe. He has a hard foot to fit and enjoys walking long distances for exercise. These shoes work perfectly for him. Because of his flat feet he replaces the removable insert with a Spenco insert that was recommended by his podiatrist.

Expensive but very good shoe. I have a horrible time finding shoes. 13 N lousy feet. Always hurt. This is the 1st shoe I have owned that comes anywhere close to that magic word, comfort! If your feet hurt all the time, try this one.

this shoe is so comfortable. kind of like a bowling shoe. but I don't care. feels great for walking. love the blue color.

The last year has been a difficult one. I have a foot drop now due to a stroke, and have to wear an AFO. Only one pair of all my shoes accommodate it, my Air Force ones. My great aunt swore by SAS, got them direct at the store as she lived in San Antonio. I'm so glad I found these, most orthopedic athletic styles look old Manish. I'm only 40. These have really helped with my balance. In the last nine months I've had to learn to walk again three times. With these shoes, I was able to walk 1/10th of a mile to a restaurant from my hotel. Was able to walk back too. Thank you SAS and Zappos! I feel somewhat human again. Just got these Friday, and I know they will get more comfortable as the polyurethane midsole breaks in.

I HAVE BEEN WEARING SAS SHOES EXCLUSIVELY FOR AT LEAST 15 YEARS...THEY FIT TRUE TO SIZE AND ARE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE MY ORTHOTICS... MY ONLY WISH IS THAT SAS WOULD MAKE THE JOURNEY WITH A GOLF BOTTOM.... A GOLF SHOE WITH THE JOURNEY UPPER IS A PERFECT PAIRING.. VERY HAPPY WITH THE PRODUCT AND ZAPPOS.... GARY

My husband was so impressed with these and the comfort level was off the charts. Disclaimer...we’ve never paid this much for tennis shoes, so our comparison is based on New Balance and the like. He is amazed at how well they fit, how comfortable they are, how well they support.

I am a woman who needed a 12.5 woman’s sneaker which there are NONE THAT ARE COOL! SO I got a MANS 11.5 size of this SAS SNEAKER. ( I have worn both woman’s and men’s SAS shoes so I KNOW how TOTALLY comfortable they are! ) BOY, I was NOT DISAPPOINTED !! This sneaker fit perfectly and is so very comfortable!!. It has great arch support. It does come with a lined inner sole that you could take out If you were orthotics or thick socks. The ZAPPOS Phone rep advised me to get a mans medium since I usually wear a woman’s WW. This was perfect! All I can say is that the sneaker is so comfortable and is very stylish looking. I got it in a gray color and it does not look tremendous for my big foot. Thank you so much for Zappos for carrying this brand. You are a lifesaver!
