I have very wide, flat feet. Shoes are hard to find. These are too expensive for what they offer. They are ugly and look cheap on my feet. They did not feel great. I usually really like SAS and have worn them for over 35 years. I work in an office and these look too casual with my slacks. I really wanted to love these. The 8.5ww was too small, but the 9ww was too big.

I'm 5.5wide in brooks sneakers. I got this she in 5.5wide and it's basically .75 inches too long in the feet. Heel slips like crazy and it's totally unreliable. I'm also skeptical sizing down to 5Wide would fix the problem. Otherwise the shoe looks really nice. Just send to run maybe a half size too large, or doesn't fit my short and slightly wide feet.

These seemed nice but even the double wide was too narrow across the widest part of my foot.

Chose SAS loafers in Navy instead; just more versatile for my personal style.

Had to send these back. The sides of the shoes dug into my ankle bone. Cut too high for me. Uncomfortable

I love the sleek style, but I could not get them on. I have wide feet and usually get a WW size, but can sometimes wear a W depending on the brand. I was completely surprised that SAS would not accommodate a REAL wide foot. I compared the sole with a couple of other shoes I have that are WW and the width of the SAS is from 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch narrower!!! I'm considering going up half a size to a 8 1/2 WW, like another reviewer did so the length will compensate for the narrowness.

I usually wear a half size smaller but WW. These shoes are very uncomfortable.

The fit of this shoe was odd. I usually take a narrow. The narrow in the forefoot was too narrow but yet my heel was slipping out. It also felt slightly short in length-- I wouldn't say a full half size smaller, but that was my only option above.

It was difficult to tell because I got two right foot shoes, one black and one grey. Does someone out there have two left foot SAS shoes. Msyb we could talk.

I was looking forward to these shoes, but it turns out that my feet kept slipping out of the heels when I walked. I have a wide front of foot and a narrow heel, so these didn't work for me.

Nice shoe in every way except one, and that was the loose heel area. Because it fit so well in all other respects I did not believe a smaller size was the answer, so I returned the shoe.

Agree with the other reviewers. Initially this shoe was comfortable, but soon I noticed the upper comes up too high especially around the ankle bones. Much as I wanted them to work, I just found them too uncomfortable and I am returning them. Maybe they are made for Texas-sized feet? Thank you, Zappos, for making returns easy.

I really needed this type of shoe for work. The arch support was good, but this shoe was too high in the back and rubbed my heel.

I'm a true 8.5 wide and these shoes were tight. Also, I was not impressed with the support and comfort with the brand and price. Disappointed.

As another reviewer noted, the back of the heel slips and requires padding. Unfortunately, I can't return these as I already walked over a mile in them. I'll just have to try softening the heel somehow.

Love the fit BUT one of the shoes squeaks after being on for a couple of hours and it is annoying
