Cuter than I imagined. I'm petite and have a hard time finding rain coats that aren't too boxy. This one has side tabs to cinch in at the waist. Great quality. LOVE IT!

I have spent, I'm not kidding you, years searching for a rain coat that's good looking enough that I don't hate wearing on days where it MIGHT rain, that doesn't fit like a potato sack, and is actually long enough to keep me dry (as a 5'10 woman that's a serious struggle). This is the one. It's lightly lined, so you'll need to layer in the winter, but that makes it a 3 season coat which is great. The sleeves are long enough! So is the coat! It actually covers my butt! It cinches at the waist! The fabric isn't that crinkly obviously a raincoat material that you feel totally stupid wearing on a day where it's anything less than a total downpour! Sometimes I wear it even when it's not raining. It keeps water out really well and is also pretty good in the wind! I do agree with the point about the double zipper. I also have the provlem where the zipper comes unzipped on its own from the bottom. But still, I love the coat. Also if you spend more time in the backcountry than the city this is obviously not for you, but it's the best I have found for my purposes of walking around the city and some light hiking/spring walks along the beach.

I purchased the heather grey and it is a nice change from black. I usually wear a small, but ordered the medium so that I could comfortably wear a sweater underneath and I am glad I did.

Bought this for our trip to Scotland. We are intending on doing a lot of outdoor activites, but also know Scotland is wet. I wanted a lightweight, easily packed jacket that was suitable. I decided in the longer length jacket to keep my bum dry. This jacket was a perfect fit. i will also be able to use it here in Texas during the winter with a sweatshirt under it.

I bought this jacket before a trip to Iceland. The weather was cold, windy, with sleet and hail and lots of rain. The jacket is stylish and I felt protected by the elements as long as I layered up underneath. The price is reasonable and I am very happy I had this to wear for Iceland. My only criticism is the zipper which is hard to see and needs 2 hands to zip up.

I have the dark grey.I wear a med an its true to size.I wear a size 6 in clothes sm/?med shirts.34 d Wish there was a two way zipper.Thats my only complaint.Its a nice raincoat.not noisy.Full coverage for the rain.

The nicest and stylish raincoat I've ever had!!!

I like the soft material of this jacket opposed to a crunchy raincoat material. The hood also comes out farther to cover your bangs/head nicely in the rain.

This trench is stylish, comfortable and it's warmer that just a regular rain jacket because of the lining. I also love it because of the drop tail hem that covers more of you, the waist tabs that you can adjust for shape, pockets, and it is windproof. The "New Taupe" color is similar to the darker olive military fatigue shade which is what I was looking for.

I love this trench! It keeps my dry and looks great for work. Super comfortable too.

i love this jacket - it has a weight and fabric hat make for great street style, and the adjustable sides are flattering for rain wear. Its also technically sound - nicely rainproof. Recommend.

I wear this coat to church or special events. I won't wear it where I believe the conditions are too harsh. The sizes run small, so be sure to order a size larger. You won't be disappointed in the coat's quality. I ordered the large and extra large to try on. The extra large fit even though I'm 5'2" and 135 lbs. I had to return the large size as too small through the shoulders.

I LOVE this coat! I searched long and hard for a long rain coat that would block wind and water, fit comfortably, have just the right sized hood, and look great with a variety of attire. This coat is the WINNER! The rain bounces off of it, and wind doesn't penetrate it. It has become my new all-season rain coat! Thank you, North Face!

I am in love with my jacket. Honestly it fits perfect, I can move around and not feel tight. Best of all it's waterproof.

I was really Happy with the way it looks and fits! I received a lot of compliments on it! I like to look well dressed not only on the inside, but on the outside as well! I would say to go a size UP, I am normally a size XS, but the SMALL fits a bit better. The sleeves were a bit TOO long on the small, so I folded them up to show the camouflage beneath, it looks SO CUTE!

I wear this jacket when I'm dressing down or dressing up!

I love the Laney Trench II! It's fitted, not frumpy, the brushed fabric is fantastic, and it repels both rain and wind. The Urban Navy color is very nice (not too dark). I have two North Face jackets & one North Face trench. I wear a size small in all of them. I ordered a small in the Laney Trench II & had to return it because it was way too tight in the chest, and there was no way I could wear a sweater with it. Thanks to Zappos' exchange policy and their excellent customer service rep Trinity R., I was able to exchange the small for a Medium. I'm so happy I did! I am 5'5" tall, weigh 111 pds, & have a 34 DD chest. I was afraid the Med. would be too large, but it is still fitted and stylish. The reason why the The North Face is my go to brand for Waterproof/Windproof outerwear is because it really performs as promised.

I am very happy about this jacket, as it looks stylish and does its job in cold rainy weather. Very comfortable, light weight and goes with everything! Would definitely recommend !

Like other comments, runs small, returning the large for an extra large. I have never worn an XL before, however it is so cute, I am willing to ignore the size and try again. Would have given 5 stars if it fit

I bought this jacket to replace another rain jacket that had an inner vinyl lining that ripped without much use. I love the quality and design of this jacket. The craftsmanship looks good, the materials seem sturdy, and I love the subtle pattern (it's not just a dark grey jacket-it is like a pinstripe). It's a fashionable and modern trench. I wore for the first time a couple of day ago and I loved how I could literally wipe off the rain drops! I did have to buy a large (I am usually a medium in other brands/items). I am very happy with this jacket so far.

I am 5'1 and 90lbs. This jacket fits me like a glove, i got in XS. I love how simple but stylish it looks. Perfect for Seattle spring/fall time.

I use this jacket very often, I'm in love with it. I mostly wear this jacket for rainy days or days that are kinda chilly. I wouldn't wear it on cold days.
