Loved the look and think the fit would have been fine, but couldn't even get my foot into the shoe! Even after fully un-tying laces and pulling the shoe open, it was a struggle to slip foot in. Not good for someone who is looking for easy on/off.

I have Plantar Fasciitis which requires that I wear moderate to high arch support. I am usually a size 7.5M, although I can/do wear a size 8M or 8W (rarely) depending on the shoes. I use my own orthotics in all of my sneakers, which I planned on doing with these cute sneaks. I love the Hawaiian/tropical pattern. It is perfect for summer! Be advised that the pattern is not consistent on all sneakers, and it does include a flamingo which I am not super crazy about. I ordered three pairs hoping for a good fit and this is what I experienced: 1) White 7.5M - The width was comfortable however they felt like a size 7 since my toes literally touched the front of the shoe. They were too narrow to insert my own orthotics, and socks would probably have been uncomfortable if at all possible. 2) Black 8W -The width seemed wide enough to use my orthotics, however once inserted, the sneaker was too tight! I didn't even have to tie the laces. The length was comfortable though. I felt the black seemed a bit faded but I'm guessing that's just the style of the sneaker/material used. 3) White 8W - The width seemed comfortable however the toe box was HUGE. I didn't even try my own orthotic because although that would probably have been comfortable for my arch, the toe box was much too wide and loose. I'm undecided as to whether I want to try an 8M in white. I really do love the look but I'm disappointed so far, and I don't know if it's my feet or this particular NB sneaker.

It is so narrow that I could not even get my foot into the shoe. What a disappointment!

Shoes just aren't designed like they used to be and that's NOT a good thing... The heel looks caved in whether your foot is in the shoe or not (and there's no support). Shoe sole feels like cardboard inside. Just awful. Search elsewhere.

I have a wide foot & a high instep. The tongue is attached on the sides & it was too tight to even put on!

This adorable looking shoe felt true to my size as far as it went on my foot. That was the problem, it has a senseless design element of an elasticized heel which meant I could not pull it up over my heel and get my foot inside. It required great strength in ones hands to do so. Not for anyone with the least arthritis or other hand problem but who could tell ahead of time. Thank you Zappos for your patience and understanding as I keep trying. I have several pairs of New Balance shoes that are the mainstay of my dog walks and errands!

the shoe is very cute, but I didn't notice that instead of a tongue, this shoe has a tight elastic neck...does not work if you have a high instep..

It looks like a lovely shoe, and very comfortable. BUT I wouldn't know, because although the shoe itself is probably a Wide as advertised, the opening to get into the shoe is NOT, and I could not push my wide foot into the neck of the shoe. So I don't know whether it would fit or not. (That is, it's not a true lace-up, so you can't open it by untying and pulling out the tongue.)
