These are the perfect replacement for the original Minimus style. The sole is flat, flexible and has a great grip. The top is breathable. Thank you NB for bringing back the classic goodness! I did have to go a half size up from my usual NB size for the best fit.

Love these! Greasy for boxy feet. Not a ton of support but they are a minimalist shoe. I bought the solid black and the gray. The solid black felt almost a full size smaller than the gray. Otherwise these are perfect!

LOVE these shoes! A little challenging to slip. May try different shoelaces because the current ones do not slide easily when lacing/unlacing. I have been wearing without socks because of this reason and the fir is a bit snugged than other NB Minimus styles I have worn. Like that the color is all-over black, lightweight, Vibram soles, mesh upper. Considering purchasing in another color too.

Excellent shoe! I broke my ankle and upper tibia last year and needed a soft shoe to get me back to normal; this is it. Great casual style with a tight, secure structure and platform. I bought them to walk around London on vacation. My foot, ankle and leg felt great; the shoe is perfect. I'm buying another pair or two.

Very great style. Definitely run short. Ordered a half size larger. Can't wait to try them on the trails and walking around town.

Love this sneaker! I wear size 11 so when I read the reviews I ordered size bigger as that seemed to be reoccurring theme on the reviews but when those came in they were way to big so I ended up exchanging for my size 11. Fits great, so comfortable! love these

I love them, they are very comfortable for casual wear. They are marketed for trail running would probably work well for that on a fairly level trail. While they do have good traction, I'm not sure how well the minimalist sole would work on rougher trails, roots, rocks, etc.

I had to return my first pair for a half size up. This is my second pair of minimus shoes. I compared the two styles and noted the older model is a tad longer in the toe, so with this new model, going a half size up from your normal size doesn't hurt. The tongue on the new model is attached and elastic, so it's a bit snug (I don't have big feet or high arches), but I feel this will break in and these will be great shoes!

I have gone through several "zero drop" styles, including Merrels, which I didn't think could be topped. But these sneakers rock. I have skinny feet but decent bunions. I bought the wide and they fit like a glove. I've also never had such great arch support in a minimalist shoe. The Vibram soles are an added bonus as I live in the hills with rainy and uneven surfaces, I feel like I can grip the road with minimal effort, and my dogs may struggle a bit more to. drag me. Oh, and they look cool too!

I am not new to minimal shoes and I wish I had found these sooner! I can't express in words how much I love this shoe. It's perfect for trail running and running on pavement. It's very minimal but the vibram is just protective enough that you can run on rocky surfaces without a problem. I love this shoe so much I bought my husband a pair and I'm thinking about getting another pair in a different color.

Well well well. This bunion sufferer is in love. First pair of tennies that didn't ouch me, not to mention TOTAL comfort: arch, heel, sole -- and they're colorful and pretty and at my age, yes, cool! Zappos does it again...

Love, Love, Love these! I will order another pair!!! I usually wear a size 8 in regular shoes but ordered a size 8 1/2 and they fit perfectly!

FINALLY! New Balance has brought back a classic Minimus style. I have not been a fan of the latest Minimus releases and when I saw the other positive reviews I thought it was too good to be true. These shoes are so comfortable and flex with my feet! If you're a fan of minimalist shoes, you need these!! You might even forget you're wearing them!

I'm beyond happy that New Balance finally decided to bring back my favorite shoe!

I love these shoes! I first got a pair several years ago, and like others, was very sad to see they changed the style so drastically when I was looking to buy again. But now they are back! Not as bright color choices as my old ones, but still very cute. These are the best minimalist shoes I have tried. They have a thick enough sole that you don't feel every little rock, but are still super lightweight and flexible.

LOVE these. I have a pinched nerve in my foot and working out has been just painful. I've had many pairs of running shoes over the past few years and they all bother my feet. These shoes however are amazing-- they are shockingly supportive without squishing my toe bones (which lights up the nerve problem). I am on the wider side of normal (typically wear medium/normal width shoes), and found the medium width to be way too narrow. Ordered them in a wide, and they were PERFECT. If you normally wear wide shoes, even the wides might be narrow for you. I highly recommend these to anyone who hasn't had luck with traditional sneakers.

New Balance, are you listening?! You must be because my favorite shoe is back! This is the best running shoe I've ever owned but the look of the last two generations was intolerable. These look just as I remember.

So thrilled that New Balance has gone back to its original great design on the Minimus. Over the past three years or so, the shoe morphed from the original until it was eventually totally unwearable for me. This re-issue of the original is great for runners who like a minimal feel with good support. I stockpiled the originals when they started changing the design and eventually had to switch to Nikes, which were never quite right. Thank you New Balance! Thank you!!

I wear a size 8 shoe but always wear and 8 1/2 in sneakers to allow a little extra toe room. I ordered an 8 1/2 and my toe was pushing up against the sneaker....not sure if a 1/2 size larger is even enough. I really like the look but didn't get a chance to test the comfort and support.

These shoes are super comfortable.

I'm confused - 5/2018 I ordered NB Minimus 10v1, size 7 - too small (although I generally get size 6.5 because review indicated that they ran small); ret'd and ordered 7.5 - fit perfectly. I LOVE these shoes and needed a replacement. Last week, I ordered NB Minimus 10v1, size 7.5 and received yesterday; too big. Returning, ordering size 7; hoping they fit!!

The color and quality are great. The tongue of the shoe is sewn on both sides making it harder to get your foot in the shoe, especially if you have a slightly wider foot.

Great pair of barefoot running shoes. After reading reviews I went 1/2 size bigger (9.5 instead of 9) and wide, and am really glad I did. I love running in these. They are really comfortable.
