I have had the Minimus 10v2 and have kept wearing them in anticipation of another release and am so glad this 10v1 came out. Back when I purchased the 10v2, I tried every barefoot and minimalist style sneaker that I could find (thanks to Zappos fast free shipping). I then wore those sneakers everywhere and for hours on end (I was working 12-16 hour shifts and my feet felt fine at the end of the day). I never actually even thought about it until now, but I now realize how amazing those shoes were in terms of support. I had given up hope when I could no longer find the previous version after wearing them out (They are still intact though and I still wear them after three years so definitely made the most of them), and came back to Zappos to try on several other sneakers from other brands all over again. I returned all of them, including other styles of NB sneakers. Then finally I stumbled upon these when I wasn't even looking for sneakers! This shoe is the same as the previous version (Minimus 10v2) in terms of design, comfort, support, and sizing. Differences from the previous are that they made it feel more like a sock so the opening is smaller but flexible, they changed the back tab so it sticks up (not sure why they changed that but it's not a big deal), they added more padding to the back, the front is slightly narrower (But I am wearing the same size as I did with the previous design), and they changed the laces (flat instead of round, which I think may actually stay laced longer and tighter, although the previous were fine but did occasionally have to be re-tightened). I think everyone should own these shoes! I do wish they had more color options, because my other Minimus shoes area pretty gray with purple and orange accents, whereas with these I had to settle for all black which is boring. I wasn't going to wait around for another color because I was afraid they would stop making these just as quickly as they stopped making the last version. Honestly, even if they had ugly colors, I would still buy the shoe because it is that comfortable and I will only buy New Balance now on.

These run small in width and length, otherwise they're excellent shoes!

Very cute, very comfortable, runs big. I normal wear an 8 and I had to get these in a 9. Luckily zappos is super awesome with easy returns. I tried the 8,8.5 and 9. The 9 was the only good fit. I've worn to the gym with no problems

I've been buying these shoes for years and I'm glad they finally re-released them, however they feel slightly smaller than my previous pairs. I am exchanging them for a half size larger.

Im always barefoot around the house and was hoping to find a shoe that gave that feeling. But for me the instep was way too tight, no room in the toe box and ran narrow and short. Looks well made like it would last, and cute too

This is my first pair of minimalist sneakers and I absolutely love them! Super comfortable and light, required no breaking-in period at all. I wore them to the gym straight out of the box! I originally purchased a 10 which is my normal size but ended up returning for a 10.5 so my toes had space. I have been wearing them with socks though (are you not supposed to? I have no idea what I'm doing) so if that affects your decision there you go. As always, Zappos delivered top notch service - the sneaks arrived very quickly and the exchange was painless!

Thrilled to see these back in stock. Got a similar pair a couple of years ago, wore them till they just really couldn't anymore (they got severe nose curl and some serious funk towards the end there--I blame "strange women in ponds"). I have other barefoot shoes, but these are my favorites. While the sole is thin, compared to Merrill, my feet don't feel the rocks off trail (I don't run, only hike). I wore this pair out of the box for 5 days straight at a camping event where I walked 7-8 miles daily, and had no problems. If you are looking for comfortable, high performance naked shoes, get these!

I got these for crossfit because I wanted a low/flat heel area (I don't use weight lifting shoes). These are Great! Lightweight, flexible, breathable. I did need a half size larger than normal because of the general narrower toe box.

I am SO glad these shoes are back!! I have an older style from 2012 and was super excited to be able to order another pair. Once again, my feet feel like they are in heaven. These are so light-weight and comfortable it's almost like not wearing a shoe at all. I use them for crossfit and kickboxing, plus short hikes and walking. The only thing I noticed was that they seem to run a little snugger than previous models. I ended up ordering 1/2 size larger than my current pair. Love the blue color as well <3

Super comfortable. I wished I had ordered a size up because they fit snug so I plan to exchange them. The minimalist ?style is what drew me to these shoes. There is a lot of mesh, which is nice for summer, but I'll probably find something more substantial for winter activity.

These are the most comfortable "minimal" shoes for walking/running I have ever tried. However...! be cautious about sizing. I normally wear 8.5/9, and have a fairly wide forefoot with slender heel. With these I tried 9w, 9.5w and 10w. I kept and love the 10w. I recommend going up a MINIMUM of one full size if you don't like your toes hitting the end of the shoe.

I love the look of these shoes and really wanted them to work. They fit well in length and width for my size 11M feet. The only problem has to do with something going on with my right foot, and the pressure on the top of my foot was a little too much. Darn!

I have wide feet. Theses shoes are the only ones I have found that give my dogs enough room to feel comfortable under all kinds of conditions. I have used these shoes for backpacking and as approach shoes. My backpack typically weighs 30+ pounds. I am not bothered by the lack of support. I also use the shoe for long, strenuous, and rocky day hikes without any discomfort. They are also great for trail running. This pair is my second. I took about a year of regular use to wear out the sole, until they no longer had any grip.

I had to give these a 4/5 because they aren't really true to size and I do have a small heel blister after my first run. Not worrisome enough to stop me! They were comfy during the run and feel great! I ordered a 1/2 size up and they fit great! The toe box is roomy which I like and they fit well in the arch. Overall very happy with this shoe!

If you like a lightweight shoe, this is it! I wear these running, hiking, walking and sometimes just to do errands. In addition to these being lightweight, they also aren't clunky-looking like many other running shoes. This is a comfortable shoe. My only criticism is that the toe box is a bit wide. However, I have long narrow feet and have this issue with most footwear. I really like these shoes and would certainty recommend them.

Love this shoe, fits great in 9.5W (have a high arch and wide feet overall), always had to size up, but not in this shoe.

This was my trainer's favorite and it was discontinued for a while now it's back so I had to try it! It's just like everybody says awesome! My Feedback is go half a size larger but stay with your normal width- someone recommended to go wider - I disagree it is however a snug fitting shoe which is extremely comfortable !

I really looked forward to receiving. I carefully read all reviews before ordering. I wanted a comfortable minimalist shoe I could wear all summer and into the Fall, shoes that could be washed and these appeared to fit the bill according the the descriptions and the reviews. I ordered up on the sizing (1/2 larger as suggested). I wear a true size 8 Medium & was worried though, that the 8 1/2 on me would be too big. Sadly though, just the opposite. These shoes are at least a full size smaller than they are sized. I just cannot wear them at all for any length of time. They were to be my go-to summer hikers? After paying $120+ for these I paid much more than ever before for walking/running shoes when purchasing these shoes. So I hope to recoup this loss by exchanging for a larger size.

Let me tell you! These are the best minimalist running shoes ever! I enjoy them every time I run. Actually, just thinking about them makes my feet happy. They fit well, hold up well, nice support, good looking. Basically they are everything you could be looking for in a good shoes.

Love these shoes for running. They are minimalist shoes but totally comfortable. They feel like I don't really wear shoes while running they are so light. These are now my favorite running shoes.

Fits like a glove. Almost like wearing just socks. Very comfortable, after ordering the wide.

I wasn't sure if I was ready for these. I had previously had a Minimus trainer and Nike Frees. But these are great and so comfortable. I got the wide width to give my toes a little more room. The sole has great traction. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a minimal running shoe.
