The only comfortable sneaker made. Add a half a size to your regular size

I had to order up a size. This is a great shoe. Great for squatting due to low heel. I'm getting a second pair.

Love these shoes, they are a do it all shoe. Training, hiking, trail running, road training. Just add some colors like the original designs. I've had the royal blue (Gortex version), the red and grey and the orange. Not everyone likes the dark boring colors. I've been wearing these since the originals were released back 7 -8 years ago and still love them. And if you could, bring back the MR00 road shoes. Had those in green and gold and also blue and grey

PROS - super lightweight - breathable - fantastic grippy vibram soles - great minimalist shoes CONS - wide model is still a little narrow in the middle of the foot (toe box is fine) - some stitching overage was not trimmed in the interior - extra drops of glue were on the edges of the shoe

This is my second pair of these shoes, and I love them; they're the next best thing to barefoot. Thanks to New Balance for continuing to make these. Be aware that the sizing runs VERY small, even compared to earlier versions of this same model. I had to go from a 12 D to a 13 EE to get the same fit. For context, I've worn a 12 D in every shoe for like 30 years - sneakers, ski boots, dress shoes, cowboy boots... you name it. Even my old Minimus were a 12 D. For whatever reason, the nominal sizes of the current Minimus are way, way off. I had to try on a pair locally, then order three pair from the New Balance website, to find something that fit. If you're looking for a true minimalist shoe, make the effort to try these. Minimalist shoes are hard to find generally, and the Minimus is nearly impossible to find locally even at New Balance factory stores (employees said they hadn't seen them in like 5 years). These aren't for everyone, but if you want to actually feel the ground when you run, do yourself a favor and see if these meet your fancy.

Shoes were recommended by a physical therapist for my neuropathy. They have just enough cushion for me to feel the surface I am walking on. Very pleased with this product..

This is my third pair of Minimus so I’m obviously a fan. As others have mentioned New Balance has changed the fit a bit and they do run an entire size small both length and width. I was nervous to order a size so much larger, but am glad I did. The larger size fits just like my old pair. Love the Minimus, they’re super comfortable!

I love these shoes on the trail or even on the road. I have purchased three pairs over the years and love how they feel. I have also run sockless with them many times with minimal issues.

Snug fit, where you can really feel the trail. They are now my go to trail shoe.

I love this shoe. I've been wearing it for years. Great for running (I mostly do sprints) and CrossFit-style workouts. For a while they made a different version of this shoe, which was not as good, but recently they went back to this design, so I bought about 6 extra pairs so I can keep wearing them for years. Please keep making this shoe!

I have a knee problem and this shoe has taken the pain away from knee when walking. The heal lift is so low in the minimus 10 that it helps my knee a great deal. I have now been using the minimus since it first was released. I liked the first released model the best for trail running, but this model works just as good for my knee.

I love this shoe. I am now on my 7th pair of these over the past several years, only replacing ever replacing them due to excessive mileage - never once due defect. I worked my way into minimalist shoes but need a bit of cushion for sharp rocks on the trails I run and this is the perfect shoe as far as I am concerned. Zero break in period, great grip, lightweight, durable, excellent ventilation, and perfect for every surface I've used them on from rocky trails to pavement. Until there is a redesign of this shoe I will continue to use and love these as my go-to running shoe. Thank you, New Balance for creating such a high quality and well thought-through product.

Great fit! Quality appears spot on. Breathable! Sole is grippy with just enough protection.

Shoe reviews like any apparel reviews come down to personal preference but for my part I can say that the NB Minimus is the ONLY brand of running/gym/training shoe I've owned for the better part of a decade. I got into minimalist running with the original Vibram Five Fingers but I wasn't super keen on the individual toe holders so when NB released the Minimus, which is effectively the Five Fingers concept in a normal looking athletic shoe, I was all over it. There's really no other running shoe I would consider buying unless NB discontinued the Minimus line, which would more or less ruin my life. I've run at least a dozen races (10 milers, half marathons, XTerra trail runs, Ragnar Relays, etc.) and hiked several CO 14ers and other tall mountains in the Rockies and Alps wearing the NB Minimus. My only issue, which I solved a decade ago, is that my size 10 foot requires a 10.5 MB Minimus, so I'm of the opinion that they run half a size too small. I've been convinced through study that a human's natural running biomechanics are vastly improved with minimal outsole shoes, or running barefoot, but I live in an urban center so running barefoot is really not practical or safe, and among minimalist running shoes I think NB is the best.

I wear 10.5 for nearly every shoe, casual and athletic alike, but I had to exchange these for a size 11. Aside from that, I love these shoes. I'd been wearing the same set of New Balance Minimus for the past 6 years for my running and working out shoes, to the point that the tag was faded and I couldn't see what size the previous version I had was.

I work out in these shoes, I have had at least 5 pairs...They are so lite and comfortable, I work out everyday, (indoors facility, alot of cardio/weight lifting) and each pair has last me a good 6months - (other shoes 4+ months) BUT they do run small, always have to get a size larger, >>> first let me explain, this is a male shoe> don't come in black in womens and I wanted black ; -( >>>second I have wide feet (maybe the reason I have to get a larger size, cause only come in wide for womens sizes) so a man's size 7 = womans 9 so I had to order a size 8....

i used to buy your minimus in 10 1/2 2e,,but for some reason(unknown) the pair previous to these were shorter(i wear them with thinner socks), that's why i ordered these in 11.

I use these in the gym & for short runs. The low drop provides good stability & feel during lifts- feet are firmly planted as opposed to more highly cushioned soles. I did have to go up a size and increase the width from what I usually wear in shoes, but New Balance made the exchange hassle free.

I normally order a 13 medium. I read all the reviews and ordered a 14 wide. Good thing I did! They fit perfectly even though I ordered a size larger and wider. They feel great in the gym.

I've had several Minimus shoes over the year. I think I'm on my 5th or 6th pair. I primarily use them for road running, but I'm always tempted to use for everyday use as well. They are comfortable. I've tried other running shoes, but always come back to these.
