I've wanted a pair for a long time, and was pondering if I should get wide or not. I'm a woman who regularly gets men's shoes because of toe box tightness. I ended up getting an 8 wide. I usually wear an 7.5 regular, but I'm glad I went with that choice. No tightness anywhere! There's plenty of room for my baby toes. The arch support isn't as high as I wanted, but everything else works, so I'll work with that. I'm interested to see how these hold up though.

At first I wasn't sure how they would feel. I have very flat feet and walk a lot. I did a 4 mile walk to start off and they worked great.

This is my first purchase of Minimus Trail runners, and I am a convert. They are like a second skin. The wide toe box, minimal heel drop, and lack of heel counter allow my foot to move naturally and get stronger. As expected with minimalist shoes, they do not have much cushioning, so not a good choice for road warriors IMO, but they work for my runs which are completely off-road. The sizing advice for the MT10s ("half a size up from your normal NB size") was spot on. I like to wear them out and about as well as running; that way my achilles doesn't shorten up like when I wear thick-heeled shoes, and my toes can splay out like they are supposed to (which seems to help my plantar fascia work correctly and not give me grief). They would also be good for "functional fitness" gym wear (albeit when they are not covered in mud). :-) I don't usually do 5 stars but since they were on sale, I'll splurge.

I have been buying this shoe since NB began making them. (disappointed when the minimal - zero drop- road shoes where dropped) The shoe has stayed pretty much the same. Any changes have been good ones. I like this last pair and may buy another pair in fear that they will be discontinued.

These are great shoes. I went from having very painful plantar fasciitis every morning, to no pain at all! I wear them to work, to play ultimate frisbee, and for running. Great shoes.

Bought this shoe for hiking. So far one of the most flexible and comfortable shoes I've worn. Loving it so far.

I love these shoes. I wear them everyday as regular wear. They are very comfortable...that is if you don't mind the minimal support.

The shoes are great for every day wear but are superior for running/trail running. Most comfortable shoes I've ever put on and they wear like iron. I recommend them unconditionally.

I ordered my regular size 13. My toes were right at the end of the shoe. I reordered a size 14 and they were perfect. I really like the materials, especially the soles. I believe these will even make a good trail shoe. My previous NB Minimus shoes had a much softer upper and sole. They are great for the road but I never thought they would be good for the rocky trails here in Missouri. I usually wear Merril Trailgloves for my offroad run.

This is my second pair of these, which I purchased after wearing my first pair out. I just love them! I typically wear a sz 7, but purchase a 7.5 in these as I wear ‘athletic footies’ with these, so I need a bit more space. They are so comfortable, roomy in the toe box, and have a sweet, trim, tidy look. These are way up on my ‘favorite shoes ever’ list!

I use these for lifting and for HIIT, and for trails. I use the old pairs for walking around in. Simply the best shoe I have ever had for all purpose training. To each his own, but these are my favorite.

The most comfortable shoe I ever tried. It's like being at bare feet. Will definitely buy another pair just to have it as a backup!! Buy 1/2 size up and Wide selection

The Minimus Trail shoes have been my standard for years. I've long given up running due to heart issues, but these are great for hiking here in the Tahoe Mountains, or just walking around town. I feel connected to the ground, while still protected. NOTE: I wear a 12.5 in all other athletic shoe brands, but NB are consistently a 13 for me. WISHES FOR NB: That you'd bring back more cool colors, like that Electric Blue. Red. That you increase the durability of the mesh in the toe box. Other than that, AWESOME SHOES!

These shoes are durable yet lightweight, awesome for running anywhere. This will be my third pair, I will keep buying them as long as NB makes them.

These are an unsatisfactory replacement for my MR00BY2. I don't understand why NB discontinued the MR00BY2 as they were fantastic, I wore them for a long time and only had to seek a replacement when they finally fell apart.

I was looking for a minimal style shoe made for people with wide feet. These shoes aren't quite there but they're really close. I bought 8.5 EE, I usually wear 8 4E, these shoes run slightly small and narrow. A size 8 would usually give me a quarter inch of extra space, but in these shoes my toes were touching the tips of the shoes. My feet are almost hang off the sides and I really wish they made them in 4E width. I found the rubber strip that goes across the top of the foot to be a little too snug, but I solved this issue by lacing them with a wide forefoot style. Those are the only to issues I have with the shoes so far.

These shoes are amazing and I wear them whenever I can, which is virtually all the time I'm awake. They are minimal, barefoot, whatever. They feel as close to nothing as shoes can be, but do a fine job of protecting your feet. The fit is snug, but comfortable. I have a fairly narrow foot, and the medium width is about as perfect a fit as I can imagine. The soles of these shoes are surprisingly durable. I've played a fair bit of outdoor basketball in them and they've held up pretty well. I bike in them, I walk in them . I wear them everywhere. The black is subtle and these do not draw attention to themselves. I will often wear them with dark-colored dress slacks just because they're so darn comfortable. In summary, a supremely comfortable, long-wearing shoe. I will have a pair on my feet and a spare pair in the closet until the end of time. New Balance--please don't ever stop making these.

When my grandson tried the shoes on, he couldn't get his foot into the toe part. There is not enough toe room as the design of this shoe has very low room for the front part of the foot.. He wears size 13 2E and he is 6' 3" tall. All his other styles of New Balance shoes fit. We are going to the Pasadena store to return them. I told him I will never buy him shoes unless he tries them on in a store. They are very nice looking shoes. I might be returning them this Wednesday, when he is out this way. Grandma Sandy

This is my third pair of Minimus shoes. I use primarily for working out, both gym and aerobic. Light, great support, good traction, and very comfortable. I've also used them to run around DisneyLand on numerous occasions with my kids. Overall, outstanding shoe.

Great for weightlifting and running. Runs true to size. I am a 10.5 in all new balance and this fit that sizing perfectly. My knees and feet were hurting a lot (after wearing my old minimus shoes for 5 years...) and I upgraded to these last week and it's been amazing. My knee and foot pain went away. Great shoe. Definitely recommend.

I love everything about this shoe...only one complaint... I have fairly large feet and like lots of room in the toe box so that I have ample room for toe splay when striking the ground - as I try to use a midfoot/forefoot running technique - so I ordered them in a 11.5 and 2E width. Upon first trying them on I was impressed with the sock-like fit and truly lightweight and minimalistic feel but i noticed they were a little tight in the toe box, in that the side were pushing on my pinkey toe, much like most traditional running shoes I've owned have. I was hoping to see a more natural cut on the front contouring with the shape of the foot but I did try them out for a few light runs I had no pain or issues of any kind, thus I will give this 5 stars and would highly recommend this new balance model to anyone who is looking for a good looking, low profile minimal drop and mimamal cushioned trail running shoe, and if your worried about the width I would definitely opt for the 2E option.
