This shoe is small and narrow for the labeled size. I normally wear a 9 EE, but had to return a pair and order the 9-1/2 EE instead. Even in the bigger size I thought I would have to return them because they were too narrow. That would have been very disappointing since no one seems to make a 4E width in a minimalist type shoe. It turned out that they would fit OK. I just had to loosen the laces completely, then adjust them so there was no slack but also no tension, all the way down to the last holes. Once that was done they fit like a glove and I love them. They are feather-light with no extra bulk, which makes them great for gym workouts. On the trail you need to watch where you step, since there is minimal protection from rocks, roots, etc., but traction is good and you can really feel the texture of the surface you are walking/running on. Love the look, too.

These run one size smaller and are narrow. So i tried them on and had to return them for one full size larger and from medium to wide width. I've been using this same model for years and they are great. I love the feel. I run without socks on these and love them. Try them for light runs or long runs.

Very comfortable and easy to run in. Felt like there’s room for toes to spread out while running.

I am a woman who ordered the men's Minimus. I am typically a women's size 11 M. I have women's Minimus from years ago and they are a completely different fit compared to the current shoe. I have a women's 12 wide and if I don't wear socks these fit well but find them too snug with even thin socks, so I went with men's 10 wide. My old original Minimus are women's 11 M....so there was a big change in the Minimus sizing from years ago. Still love the shoe, though.

I bought these as a super light weight camp and stream crossing shoe for a long trek. Small size perfect for not taking up too much space in my pack. Also for all around lightweight travel shoe for Europe after our trek. Size is a little small/narrow (I usually wear a 10.5 2E; these are 11 2E).

I buy these often. They are usually exactly the same and fit great. If you like minimalist running shoes, these are pretty much the best.

I love these. They're excellent for training, a brisk walk or just running errands. They protect and stabilize my feet but aren't bulky or heavy. I love the colors and wish they offered this scheme for women but I'm content to wear a men's anyway.

I have six pairs of these. I stocked up on them in case they quit making them. They are my favorite minimalist shoes by far. I've used them for running on gravel, climbing rocks, kayaking and just about every activity I get involved in. They are my favorite and this is the first show review I've ever written because I New Balance to (hopefully) see this: PLEASE, NEVER STOP MAKING THE MINIMUS!

The shoes have a curved last, which conforms well with my high arch and neutral gait. I ordered my usual size and another pair 1/2 size up. The 1/2 size up fits better. After about 300 miles on one pair they still feel good. My longest run in them has been a little over eight miles because I prefer these shoes for shorter runs. I like the fit of the NB 10V1. It really feels like it was made for my feet; just not for long training runs.

The only way these shoes could be better is if they came in a 4E or came in a larger variety of colors, but the Minimus 10v1s are my all time favorite shoes. I use them for walking, treadmill and track running, and weight lifting,. I can't believe New Balance isn't making more of these. I'm buying about more 6 pairs so I won't be without them anytime soon.

My favorite minimalist shoe, and I own several others from differing brands and models. The 10v1 is comfortable for running, walking and long distance travel. I've been using this model for several years, usually buying a new one each year, and under heavy use.

Excellent shoe. New Balance, please do not change the design (other than very minor tweaks) because you have created a gem. I am on my second pair in 2 years. They do run small, I normally wear a 12 and I wear a 12.5-2E in these. I wear the 2E because I also wear toe spacers called Correct Toes with the shoes and they work well together. I love the narrow heel and wide forefoot, which is the shape of the natural foot. I do not run on the road with these often, but they make EXCELLENT trail shoes. On the trails, they feel like a true extension of my feet and I just glide in them. I also wear them at work sometimes and my feet do fine in them all day. If I'm being nitpicky, one thing I did notice, especially on the first pair, was a slight bump in the sole just in front of the heel. It has to do with how the shoe is constructed. In other words, the transition from the heel to the midfoot could be a little smoother. Another improvement would be to use stronger stitching on the rubber overlays because I notice the thread does begin to fray fairly quickly, although I've never had it unravel. I know the general trend in the sneaker industry is to make a new model almost every year, but this shoe needs to stay the way it is in my opinion. I love it! - Happy Customer :)

My hands down favorite shoe. I am on my 5th pair. I hope they never discontinue this design and just keep coming up with awesome new color patterns. My feet thank me for wearing minimus.

I've had a couple different pairs of minimalist shoes and these are by far my absolute favorite. These are my go-to sneakers most days that I want to wear over anything else. I have fairly narrow feet and am a 10.5/11 and I got these in an 11.5. I probably could have fit an 11 but I don't regret the slight extra toe room at all. Either way these run small. The Vibram soles on these are seriously fantastic, and I hear what some people are saying about the strap material across the toe area, but I haven't found it to be bothersome at all. I hope they never stop making theses, I'll definitely be buying more.

I am on my second pair of these bad boys, and can honestly say they are my favorite shoes EVER. Insanely comfortable, particularly if you're someone who likes the "barefoot" feel. I had my first pair for 4 years and ran god knows how many miles in them. I have worn other minimalist running shoes and these are by far the best. I wear a 14 in most shoes, but wear the 14 Wide (2E) in these and they fit perfect. New Balance, please do not ever stop making the Minimus 10v1 Trail!!!
