I've been buying New Balance shoes for thirty years, and this is the first pair in my size not too fit me. They're cut too short.

Typically wear a 11.5 to 12. Users report this sneaker runs small so ordered 12.5 and in wide 2E (for front food spread). Sneaker fits like a 10.5. I am entirely baffled how the sizing could be this far off. Please honor sizing charts. (for Autumn 2019 model)

I loved everything about these shoes...until the tread failed. It's getting harder and harder to find a good, lightweight trail shoe and these fit the bill perfectly for me, initially. They are the ideal balance of minimalism and comfort, with a lightweight meshy upper and a sole that provides the tactile trail sense that I love. However, after only a handful of runs, the grid-patterned tread material began delaminating from the bottom of the shoe. I first noticed this when a small rock got stuck under the tread where the tread had begun to detach. On the next run, more tread dettached and I had a flapping piece of rubber on the bottom of my shoe, rather than tread. Too bad, I really wanted to like these.

Not sure what happened since my last pair of Minimus, but the sizing has changed. 12.5 EE fits perfect in my previous pair - no chance with this model.

I want to replace my current beautiful coral colored ones - where are the colors?! This is all so blah :( I know some people like boring, but couldn't you have made at least *one* fun color?

As other folks have mentioned, the EE on this doesn't really feel like an EE. I went up 0.5 size in length and got EE, and while my toes were ok, the midfoot was crushingly narrow. I've had NB minimus shoes before (from many years ago, not this exact model, but supposedly the same last) and they didn't feel this way.

I bought size 14 Wide hoping they'd fit! but they were too small. I read tons of reviews so I knew what I was getting myself into. Please make some larger sizes (15-16). I'm really into barefoot/minimalist shoes and really like the design of the New Balance Minimus Trail shoes. I would love to try them out!

I've been wearing this model of shoe for over 7 years now. The last pair I wore all the way through the sole to the ground. Tried the current version of this model and I finally have to find another shoe - there is not enough space for my toes, and the band over the toes is quite stiff.

These shoes were really small. I ordered a half size larger and they were still too small.

I love the look and feel of this shoe but I am disappointed that after less than a year of primarily wearing to and from the gym including during my workout that the fabric tore away from the sole from about my pinkie toe over to my 3rd toe. If these are marketed as a "trail" shoe I'd expect more durability.

Everything about the shoe is fine except the left shoe cuts the right side of my ankle. Not sure of the fix.

Look great. Love the light weight, low profile styling of this show but the fit is pretty terrible. I wear a 9 in every shoe I own. These 9s were so small that they cut off the circulation in my toes. So, I ordered a 9.5. They're so large that my heel completely slips out while walking. Sadly, some shoes are not meant to be.

I have wide feet. I usually by mens shoes to help accommodate. I'm also not a fan of the 'pink' heavy palette in women's styles. I loved the look of these shoes. I have a pare of minimus and I wear them everywhere -- have run in them, traveled in the (great for traveling -- I've walked all over the world in these) guess they're at least a couple of years old, no signs of really wearing out, was just looking for a new pair. Of course, the styling has evolved and not to my advantage. The strip across the instep was REALLY constricting and the 'fitted' tongue wasn't to my liking. In spite of the comments about them loosening up, I'm kind of done with the concept of having to wear a shoe in. I wish they had stuck with the old style. Straightforward and wonderful. Had to send them back. Ended up with very different and somewhat boring Mens Asics Gel Kayano 24 7.5 (normally a 7 in mens, 9 in womens). I got the D fitting, but only because there wasn't an E. I had to return the size 8 in these as well. Just too long.

I appreciate how the shoe provided the kinda-sorta-barefoot minimalist feel, allowing the foot to move somewhat naturally while it simultaneously provided a slight degree of cushion and stability/support that (I think) minimized foot fatigue and made running a longer distance a little easier on the feet. HOWEVER, these shoes run narrow even if you get the wide. The toe box is too tight, and even getting your feet there when you put the shoes on is a bit of a challenge; the shoe is tight. Also, the extra material that goes over the upper just beyond the laces (and the difference between the laces and the rest of the toe box on the inside) creates a mildly uncomfortable feel on the area just under the big toe ; it causes some painful rubbing. I ended up with a blister. Likewise, in the back of the shoe around the heel I ended up with a blister too, but that rarely happens when I use other barefoot/minimalist shoes. The flexible but supported ride I first mentioned evidently comes at a cost. Perhaps maintaining the effective trail-ready outsole and the overall feel (in terms of foot flexing) while removing unnecessary, hot spot materials and going slightly more minimalist in the features overall would be a good move for any future upgrades to this shoe.

Amazing how SMALL these are...! I'm a 13.5, so I typically have to find big 13's or small 14's. Based on other reviews, these looked like a good bet as small 14's ... As it turns out, they MIGHT fit a size 12 foot, but I'm not even sure about that... They look cool, and I think they would be comfy if they fit, but they are WAY off on the sizing...

Loved these shoes in earlier versions but latest ones no longer fit. Tried three sizes and finally giving up. The last one was a full size and a half (both length and width) greater than older models and still too tight.

These are not minimalist shoes. Tight in the toes and high in the heel. They are pretty decent sneakers though.

I didn't even try on the medium I ordered with this pair of 2e. Even the 2e was way too narrow! Other than being too narrow( all my other shoes are Medium D and they fit perfectly) these shoes feel good and look good.

Disappointed. Although the shoe is extremely flexible and light, and the sole has a great grip, the seam of the mesh began to unravel at the toe after less than two weeks of use. This was not a result of any abrasion -- the thread of the seam is not ripped, broken or damaged at all -- the seam simply began to unravel. I had to stitch it up with a nylon thread to prevent the seam from completely falling apart. It's too bad, since otherwise the shoe was exactly what I was looking for.
