I liked the look of this sneaker and purchased my usual size 9. Waaay too tight. I returned the first pair and ordered a 9.5 Wide which fit so much better. I have used them on the treadmill a few times to make sure I like them. It's definitely a different strike... So far, I like it when running, but dislike it while walking. Just imagine if NB (and other sneaker companies) could get their act together so we could all order sneakers and shoes online that fit the first time... probably make everything cheaper if they didn't have to account for all the returns.

I returned the first pair because they were just a little small - size 12 Wide (2E) and got 12 1/2 Wide (2E). The second pair the right shoe is noticeably narrower than the left shoe. I suspect it is a D marked as a 2E. OR it is just an irregular flaw. I needed to use them and so I didn't return them because they are running out of wides and 12's.

I have owned three pairs of these shoes now and love them. I recommend them often and will continue to do so. Unfortunately, this third pair is running a little small. I have always owned a size 10; but this time the 10 is hurting my feet in various places. The tips of every toe are at the end of the toe box and sore after wearing; and it seems that the support in the shoe is misaligned with my arch, causing pain in several places on the bottom of my foot. As I said, this will not prevent me from recommending the shoe. I will be contacting NB today to see about an exchange for a half size up. I'm hoping the fact that I have worn them will not prevent the exchange. I took them out of the box and immediately put them to use not expecting a problem with the size since it was my third pair. I thought they felt a bit tight but gave them a handful of more goes to see if I could make them work (maybe my feet were swollen?). But it's been to no avail. My feet are in pain, making my workouts less than enjoyable. I'm hoping NB takes the exchange and it happens quick because I love working out in these shoes.

I loved the shoes but they hurt my feet. I am trying a size larger to see if that works for me.

I like the looks of this shoe, read the reviews, and ordered it in size 11.5W. I usually wear an 11 (normal width) in Nikes. The width on the these was average, not wide, and there is a band midway across the shoe which was tight across the top of my foot, immediately uncomfortable, even without the laces tied. I walked around the house in them for about 15 minutes, put them back in the box and returned them.

I bought a pair of these about 2 years ago and wore them until all the tread wore off, order the same size as last time and you can see the difference in width when you hold them up to each other, and they just don't fit right. Sadly this will probably be my last pair of NB as my V4 trainers are also the same way. Please NB, start making your wide shoes actually wide again

I bought these for my husband for Christmas. I sized up from his usual 9 to 9.5. His big toe was trying to bust out of the front of them. Back they go for a size 10 and hopes that they fit better.

The forefoot strap is bloody awful. My 5th metatarsal was screaming after wearing this for 8 hours. I have moderately wide feet but I even bought the EE wide and 1/2 size up to accommodate, yet this still pinches the lateral part of my foot. Big fan of NB and minimus shoes but this one is crap.

New Balance... I love you.... But. I have been wearing the Minimus 10 Trail shoes for 6-7 years now. Have owned and loved every version. But I wear a size 15 in this shoe. I go to renew my pairs and to my disbelief, I find that size 15 is no longer available. UGH. I tried a 14 and in wide but could not handle the fit. So I tried all of the minimus in my size (which some go to size 18?) and selected the 200 trainer, which felt closest to the 10 trail. While the sole feels great... I cannot wear the upper without socks. They feel like they don't breath, like wearing vinyl all day. PLEASE...PLEASE...PLEASE.. bring the Minimus 10 Trail bake with larger sizes. Truly- these shoes have changed my life and my health! what am I to do? oh- my....

This was an amazing shoe for trail running. The zero rise was the perfect feeling for running and hiking. I took these shoes everywhere, even in the water. The problem with the new version is they changed it from a minimalist shoe to another running shoe. Kind of defeats the point since it was a true minimalist shoe before. Enjoyed the feeling of the shoe before and the lack of rise that so many shoes seem to require. Disappointed I won't be getting a pair again.

After years of waiting, New Balance has finally almost returned to the original design (of which I owned at least 6 pairs). They are so close, but why is the band across the forefoot so tight??? I'm wearing them around the house to see if I can live with it, but I think I might have to return them. I don't get it. The footbed is also a little narrower and has a bit less give than the old ones. 5 stars if the forefoot band was not so tight.

I have always experienced NB shoes running small. The loop at the heel of the shoe is useless. You cannot get your finger through the loop. I ordered 11M and I find it difficult to put them on even with the thinnest no show socks. I have to use a shoehorn

Bought similar New Balance minimus 10V4 in 11 EE two years ago. This style was too narrow to be usable at gym.

I have narrow foot, medium Arch, size 13. Fits true to size for me. Loses traction quickly on wet surfaces.

even tho i ordered wide, seems very narrow and smaller than size marked. NB used to be noted for wide toe box shoes even in normal width but not this one. very impressive at first like for going to the gym but when i tried long distance walking, the back part started rubbing on achilles, and they are blazing hot in the sun (black color maybe?). my first impression was so good that i thought i was Done with regular padded running shoes... but maybe not so fast... i thought the kind of thin mesh and thin construction would reduce the heat, but no. maybe the next half size up for me?

These shoes might have worked for me if the left and right shoe matched each other. The right show was clearly wider then the left. The size was marked 11 2w but was a tight fit, particularly on the left shoe that was narrower then the right. I have had this experience before with shoes made in China. Too bad. I really wanted these to work.

Love(d) the shoe. My 2nd pair. Unfortunately the mesh is stretching on the lateral part of the shoe and there are micro rips throughout...I have primarily used this shoe in the gym so it's not an issue of getting damaged on the trail. Can't seem to find any warranty information as the rest of the shoes are in great shape.

I was glad to see these and ordered a pair as I love my New Balance Minimus MT10v3, that I purchased in 2015. I purchased these in a 10.5 wide just like my other pair and these felt too small in length and width. The outsole is reinforced so much that it feels uncomfortable and not as minimalist as the MT10v3. These only look as good as New Balance's earlier Minimus shoes, but they are more like regular shoes trying to masquerade as minimalist shoes. Sadly they are being returned.

These shoes hold up well, especially with the Vibram soles. But be warned, they are truly a minimalist shoe and look to give you the least bit of padding/cushion between your foot and the ground. So if you need padding/cushioning be warned because this may not be the right shoe for you.
