I live in St. Louis where there are 2 New Balance stores. I go to the first and ask to try on a pair of the minimus. He says that they don't keep any at the store because they don't sell enough. Then i go to the second and ask to try on a pair of the minimus. He tells me they don't keep them there either because they don't sell enough. Now im going to have to buy them online and return them when they don't fit. You had to cancel this model once before, i predict that it will happen again.

I love zero drop shoes with the minimus line. This one is a full size smaller and more narrow than expected, and based on the reviews I ordered a full size up and EE width and I'm glad I did. The shoe looks great and feels light.

Go half a size smaller than you normally wear. I have semi-wide feet and they fit fine. They do fit different than the design from two versions ago with a big rubber covering the big toe and without the rubberized front edge on the fabric. This version is tighter around the mid section of the feet and feels very uncomfortable on my feet. On this version, the outside rubber next to the small toes are moved toward the back, so they are not actually protecting the small toes. Unfortunately I've worn these already and cannot return them. I would buy the earlier version instead but they are no longer available.

It looked like a great shoe - for my feet thirty years ago! Unfortunately, I need orthotics and a lot of support these days. The shoe was too low-volume to take orthotics. Also, as a "barefoot" sort of shoe, it has almost no lateral support. As a geezer, I didn't dare use them.

Really comfortable shoe that I'm super glad to see return in its unaltered, un-fashionized form. Awesome groundfeel and toe spread. Shoes with tighter toeboxes make the tendons between the ball of my foot and big toe sore and feel like they roll inward awkwardly as I step forward. The rubber on the upper holds the forefoot just as much as you want it to and the sewn in tongue does a great job of keeping stuff out while not sliding to the side. I know it would compromise flexibility, but I would love to see a rock plate added as the thin soles can be uncomfortable on gravel or other rocky terrain.

Switching from Merrel barefoot minimalist shoes to New Balance. These felt about a half size small and narrower compared to the other New Balances I ordered. Will order bigger and wider and hopefully they work out.
I'd also recommend:
Merrell

I am surprised how comfortable they are when just kicking around. With these, you definitely feel the surface you tread on. I feel super safe on all terrains. They do not offer as much cushioning as other runners I've owned. Because my heels are slightly more narrow I have issues with my socks getting sucked down into shoes during runs and workouts....not these. Feel snug and are very light. Also, it doesn't hurt that they are stylish. After having them for a month now, I'm a little concerned with the wear on the soles at the heel and outside edges. I expected that Vibram treads would be more durable. That said, I will definitely buy a second pair to store for later if/when they go on sale.

These are literally my top shoes. They look great. They feel great. I wouldn't run in them, but that's just me. I wear them to the office (they go with anything in black/black), hiking, traveling, and practically everywhere else. I've repurchased around five pairs of different versions. The v1's are the best!

Just got my fourth pair of the minimus. All others have been absolutely perfect and lasted. Unfortunately this new model is much too narrow at the ball of my foot. Had to return them

Bought the wide size 9 for strength training and occasional running/sprinting. Usually I'm a 9 but the 9 was too narrow for me to feel comfortable in the shoe. Don't like my feet to feel squeezed. Half size up may have been too long. Besides that it a nice shoe. Grippy and hard outsole and breathable upper.

I’ve owned 5-6 pairs of these and always love the fit and feel. However, they seem to have changed the formula with this version. The 2E width this year are very snug, maybe even call it tight, in the forefoot; whereas they used to be very roomy for your feet to be able to splay. Unfortunately have to go back. Please do something with the next version, NB

Sneakers have to be broken in. I wear no shoe socks. The sneakers gave me slight blisters. Otherwise they are good sneakers.

This shoe had everything I was looking for as far as light and thin soul with a wide spread but it runs a half size small. Could not find a size 12 in any color anywhere on the Internet. Had to just return it and keep looking.

Toebox is roomier than most other NB shoes. But midfoot is tight. Also, this is not a zero drop shoe as others claim. The drop is 4mm. I like the idea of transitioning to lower/zero drop shoes. But I did not want to transition to a low cushioning shoe. Sure enough if you read the tags on the shoe, this is a reduced cushioning shoe. Wish that was stated clearly in the product description. Low drop does not need to be low cushion.

I normally wear a 10 or 10.5. Ordered 10.5 and they were a half size too small. I decided they they weren’t good enough quality to warrant the $110 prize tag so I returned them rather than exchanging.

Purchased these for the man at his request. He takes the 2E wide. Loves the shoes but not the width fit, says they feel as narrow as a regular fit on him. Since other reviewers have said the similar things, I hope NB considers widening the widths in future iterations to save everyone time. Shoes that fit will get better reviews.

I wear a normal, size 11 shoe all around. Unfortunately these shoes are entirely too small in length and width. My toes are jammed into the front of each shoe and the width of my feet are completely squeezed in these shoes. I have never needed wide shoes, and these shoes are all wrong. They seem to be a full size too small. While the soles seem durable, the uppers are also extremely flimsy. I can’t imagine these shoes lasting for very long without the mesh fraying or blowing out. Time to return them.

The shoes are quite nice, but they run small and tight. I would consider exchanging them, but I didn't really get a feel for their size until after running in them once or twice and especially with the current pandemic, I don't think exchanging them is an ethical choice. I usually wear a 10.5, regular. I would buy an 11 wide if purchased again.

Wife is a 9 Medium in regular women's shoes, and a MEN'S 9Wide fit perfectly in the Minimus 10v1. 9Wide Men's is a 9Medium Women's. I am consistently 8.5 4W in men's.

The shoe fits like a tight glove and is the closest thing to wearing socks. I have wide feet and I have a high instep that makes it difficult to put the shoe on without some minor struggling. If the tongue was opened up a bit more it would be a perfect slip-on for me. Other than that the shoe is well built and offers support in the right places. I would not do a 10K in this shoe but for short track sprints and lifting it is ideal for me. This is the 3rd pair I have owned over the past 8 years. I only bought this pair as the last one finally wore out. I work out 4-5hours per week and do mixed cardio and weight training

It was just a little big, not a whole size. Absolutely no support! I have to exchange these for a different New Balance. I would not be able to run, nor walk in these for long periods of time! Zappos was very great with the exchange.

The New Balance Minimus 10v3 were my go to shoes for several years. Unfortunately, they are not made anymore and closest is the 10v1. They are definitely narrower than the 10v3 and pinch my toes. Even upgrading to a wide (EE) still feels snug. The band across the top that is new to the 10v1 may be to blame. Hope New Balance fixes this problem.
