I Wear boots Daily for work and military, These are the socks I wear. Warm when it’s needed and somehow cool when needed, on top of all of that they are comfortable and fit well.

Perfect amount of padding and thickness. Very warm, but thin enough so didn't feel bulky. Works for sneakers as well as boots.

These are great! Medium cushion on bottom of foot while thinner like a light weight hiking sock everywhere else so they aren't too thick in my boots. Stayed up all day, no slipping. LOVE THEM! I'll get more as needed. I ordered these and Thorlo crew socks. I'm keeping the Thorlos but I will honestly be wearing these a lot more often.

Here are the socks you should be wearing on your hike. My first try on this brand but, they performed very well. As good as the Ascend merino wool socks I always hike in. I'll get few more of these!

Wore these socks for 100 miles during the Bighorn Trail 100. No complaints and these will be my go to long distance running socks.

Smart wool socks that can crossover from trail to desk....these socks work with trail shoes and oxfords if needed.

Wool breathes - and some how Smartwool manages it without the itch factor. Nice to see an established high quality brand in my box this Spring. I never turn down a fresh pair of socks :)

great socks was needing some new socks as my last trail socks had worn out. keep my feet at a good temp and did not rub or cause foot slippage in my boots.

Simply awesome socks that cling to your feet and DO NOT RUB. These are the PhD versions which are more compression type socks - they are fantastic and my feet just don't get as tired when I am using these.

Great socks just wish they were a bit taller

I love these socks. They are the perfect thickness and are perfect for hiking, bikepacking, etc. Excellent temperature control, I want to wear these all the time.

True fit, top of the sock is snug, not too tight. Well padded where it should be. Smartwool have held up longer and feel more comfortable than any other brand I've ever worn.

Adding to the collection. Over the years I've replaced all my socks with Smartwool. They last forever and the quality is what you'd expect for the price. Always worth it, take care of your feet!

Work great wear every day, perfect in every way

Great sock and love Smartwool. Not a sock to wear outside all day as feet got cold but still a perfect sock for those days outside for a few hours.

I wear these socks every day, home and work in the ER. They keep me warm and comfortablebut not sweaty. I own 6-8 pairs and can't live without them.
