Very soft leather and really nice cushioned sole.

A little dorky looking but a nice shoe for work, errands, etc.

Loved the look and comfort was nice but a little too wide. I will order in 12 size smaller.

Overall comfortable right out of the box. Very flexible and supple. Love the embossed finish. Happy they run a little narrower than some other Born styles and definitely neede 1 to 1/2 size smaller than Julianne. Great value

I have these in another color and love them. I am a 9 all day long but ended up in an 8.5 at the suggestion of the salesman at the store. My local store only had 2 colors so I ordered the red on Zappos. I ended up returning them because the red is not at all bright. It seems more terra cotta.

Like others, I read the reviews and forced myself to size down 1/2 size. Though I almost always wear a size 8, I bought a 7.5. They fit well enough that I could tell the 8 would have been too big. They are ever so slightly small, but wearable, and I expect them to stretch a little over time. The first time I wore them briefly with no problems. The second time was for several hours and I walked about 3 miles in them during that time. Still no problems. I was concerned about the possibility of blisters on the heel - but nothing. So I'm good and am considering a second pair. Born is one of my go-to brands and has been for years. I encourage them to get their sizing worked out so that it is consistent.

I have so many pairs of Born flats, all size 7.5 so I ordered the Malena in that size. I loved the style and the gold metallic -- the leather was very soft and the shoe would have been so comfortable if it had fit. The 7.5 was very large and very wide, so I returned and order size 7. The left shoe was little tight in the ball of the foot but the width was okay. However the right shoe was still large and very wide and I could myself walking out of the shoe -- so sadly had to return. The shoe style & color was exactly what I wanted, but the sizing was really off.

I actually ordered a 1/2 size down in this shoe, and it fits perfectly. It is a little narrow, but I have wide feet, and it was fine. Snug, but fine. I was able to teach in them all day. Great quality.

Am really surprised that the sizing and the width was off on this shoe. I have many pairs of Born all size 7.5. But had to order this shoe in size 7, which was better fit but the width feels 'sloppy'. The leather is soft, no break-in period. I like the gold metalic color -- little bit of 'bling' without being too flashy. Just wish the width was a better fit for me, but will keep the shoes.

fit was a little too big without a sock. Tried the "no show" sock and still didn't work for me but super cute and comfortable otherwise.

Just a plain, basic loafer. Ran true to size for my size 11 feet, comfortable out of the box, and no problem with coming too high in the back. Navy is hard to find so I was delighted to add this to my shoe collection.

Really nice quality loafer-style driving moc. Well made from nice leather. Based on other reviews, I ordered my usual size, hoping they would feel already broken in. They are surprisingly tight, and none too generous in length either. In addition, the seam stitching hits right on my bunion (a condition which has just about ruined the shoe-buying experience for me!!). Wish they came in a wide width. Waiting for a larger size to see if they work.

Order 1/2 size smaller and they will fit great. Wore them all day long right out of the box. No blister, not rubber. Fun pretty slip on.

I payed attention to the suggestion to order 1/2 size down...so they fit perfectly. They are comfortable right or of the box. Wore them all day long day one. No blisters, no rubbing. Moderate arch support. I had ordered a different brand and returned them as soon as I tried on these shoes. So much better. They look great with jeans or leggings.

I had to size down one full size from what I usually wear for closed shoes. They were slightly tight across the wide part of my foot and I was really unsure about keeping the smaller size, but I am very happy I did. After only a few hours they felt great. Very soft leather inside and enough arch support for me to wear these all day. I walk a lot in the city and these will be great. I wish the navy wasn't quite so dark. Maybe they will come out with new colors for the spring......

These loafers fit great, the leather is very soft, BUT they look a bit old lady-ish. Makes sense for the brand.

I've had a hard time finding a pair of loafers that provide enough support. These are pretty good. The length and width are perfect and the arch was sufficient. I wish that Born would go back to the insoles they used a few years ago though.

Only negative is that the back of the shoe doesn’t break-in/stretch-out well and can rub the back of the ankle.

Overall, great flat. Minor new wear blister, but am sure once I break them in all will be fine.

Love the shoe's appearance. I got the purple/maroon color and it goes with everything. The shoe was a bit large, but fit well once I put in an insert. The back is indeed high and I did get an unexpected blister. However, they are so cute and otherwise comfortable that I will persevere and try moleskin to prevent further blisters. Hope that works!

Super torn on these at the moment. I agree they run large - as a true 10.5 I almost never have issues with 10s seeming large but these might be, but that could partially be because they seem wide to me as well. That might be rectified by wearing socks/adding a pad or two. But the real plus on these is how incredibly buttery soft they are and how lightweight they are. These will be perfect for wearing as an appraiser out in the field where I need closed toed shoes. Ultimately just debating on size and what other color(s) to order.
