Love the tan/cognac color, very classic looking. The real leather feels great on, even without socks. Wish arch support a bit better but overall love.

These shoes are really cute. They were tight on the width, but I have a wide-ish foot and Borns tend to be a tad too narrow, so that was no surprise. They were fairly comfortable when I first put them on. I wore them to work the next day and felt like the width was stretching out. The heels felt like they were starting to rub, so I put on bandaids on. When I got home, there were no blisters. I think for me that these just need to be broken in a little and they will be fine. The gold is a pale gold, just like the picture.

Love these loafers. Have a brown pair I've worn for two years and am still wearing. Bought two more pairs--one black and one blue--so these can be my fallback shoes whatever I'm wearing. There is nothing more blissfully comfortable than slipping your foot in for the first time. Cushioning (I guess) wraps around your foot. Also love the non-slip soles as I have had several-too-many surgeries and live in fear of falling and needing more. I can walk on anything but snow with these. Even snow, if it's just a thin coating.

I love Born shoes. This shoe is no exception. It was comfortable immediately out of the box. I will be buying this shoe in another color.

I purchased four pairs of shoes, all loafer style. Only one pair was a little too wide; but stayed on my feet as I walked. All of them had soft leather which I'm thrilled about and 3 of the four pairs were very attractive, the other pair is OK. I love Zappos caring attitude and humor.

I have these in many colors!

My right foot is a little bigger than my left foot, so at first when wearing them, they felt a little tight on my right foot, by the ball of my foot, by my big toe. but after a few wears, they have stretched out. they are really comfy. someone who suffers from plantar fasciitis or needs arch support - these do not provide any. they do have a cushioned sole, so they are very comfy, just not a lot of arch support. i wear a pair of vans socks and they stay hidden. love these shoes. i wanted the 'born' logo to be the cream color that i thought was in the pictures above, but the logo on the heel is all in black, which is fine. i've already worn them several times, for several hours at a time w/ no trouble. just needs a little stretching out on the right foot and they'll be a favorite pair!

Great shoe for a long work day!

These shoes are beautiful! The leather is soft, yet the shoe feels very sturdy. I wear an 8 and the size 8 was the best fit. I am a teacher and have a done a great deal of walking in them and my feet feel fine! I really want to order it in other colors now!

Fit and size are perfect. Leather is soft, almost like a slipper for comfort. Beautiful color, what I would call British tan. I love Born shoes and these are no exception. Excellent quality.

Love these shoes. So comfy right out of the box. If you get red, they don’t have that “old lady” look! My only disappointment is that you can’t put pennies in the slots.

I love loafers and these were exactly what I was looking for. Because I read reviews prior to purchasing, I knew these shoes ran large and a bit narrow. So - I purchased a size 11 (I usually wear an 11 1/2 or a size 12). They fit perfectly and the leather is buttery soft. I am so happy w/ them!

I bought these first in black. They were so comfortable and went with so many things, within 10 days I had bought them in Red, Tan, and Navy. Now I'm tempted to get the light brown. The heel does not rub at all on me like some reviewers have said. I am 5'8" tall, it is possible my bone structure is just slightly longer (higher) at the heel than a very petite woman. I also did not order down a size. I ordered my regular size and they are perfect. I wore without socks in the summer and with trouser socks in the fall. Either seems to work. It was a stretch to say they had "Moderate " arch support, since there is just a little bit of padding in the arch. But that is healthy. The less a shoe does to your foot, the better it is for your foot.

It's amazing how the same shoe fits everyone so differently. I am a size 11 with a bad left foot. Have never worn Born. This shoe was so comfortable out of the box. It wasn't large, fit me perfectly. Did not come up high in the back like others have claimed. I ordered the navy suede, no smell. Comfortable with or without a sock. Will probably pick up another color.

You just can’t beat the comfort of Born and these are stylish too! I wanted shoes that I could regularly wear to work that were dressy but comfortable too. Fit the bill!
