These shoes are wonderful. Right out of the box they felt comfortable.

These shoes are very soft and flexible. They seem to mold to the foot. I usually wear a 9 but got a 9.5 because the toe box is a little narrower in this style.

The fit was absolutely perfect. The material/leather is very soft and comfortable. They will be easy to wear. The heel is a little high and rubs somewhat but I think if I wear light footies with them they will work out fine. I would recommend these shoes. They will be nice in a couple months or so to wear out.

Buttery soft leather with padded insole. Walking is extremely comfortable. Heel does not rub. My foot is narrow, but these fit nicely.

I am SO upset that these didn't fit right because of course they are now out of stock in the size larger I would need. BUT, these are super cute. I love the feel of the shoe and overall quality. I am normally a size 11 and medium width, but these were a bit too small. I could put them on, but they were snug to a point I'd likely have earlier wear and tear than the next size up. They would also likely be uncomfortable if I had to be on my feet for a decent period of time. Hope the size 12 comes in stock soon!

Love these shoes. I have them in black but wanted a more fun color. For a basic loafer they are great: comfortable, not to clunky looking and good quality!

I have a narrow heel and wear between an 8 and 81/2. I’m pretty flat footed too. I ordered these in an an 8M and they fit well but I suspect they will stretch out and fit sloppy after awhile. I ordered the tan leather. The picture is close - slightly lighter in color than I thought. They are wonderfully buttery soft and very comfortable right out of the box. I am going to order another pair to keep in the closet for when these are shot.

Perfect fit (ordered half a size smaller than my usual size) and comfortable right out of the box! I ordered tan and the leather is buttery soft. The shoe is light-weight and will be perfect for summer. Just ordered a second pair in black.

These are extremely comfortable shoes, well made and very attractive.

Order Malena Loafers on a Wednesday night, receive the following Friday. I order 1/2 size smaller as suggested, fit perfectly. Alittle snug at the heel. But not enough to return. Very stylish and comfortable, will be ordering more.

The shoes are fantastic! I was looking for a black leather moccasin style loafer, and these were the most gorgeous ones I could find, and comfortable on top of that. I wear between a size 10.5 and an 11, ordered the 11 and they fit perfect. I'm guessing they will stretch a little as the leather wears. The foot bed is very comfortable, and very quality leather used! Very happy with this purchase, also got them on sale so even better!

I love the Born shoes and will buy nothing else for my feet.

These are perhaps the most comfortable shoes right out of the box I've ever purchased. No breaking in, no rubbing, and great soft footbed. I have (very) flat, narrow feet and found these to run big. I usually wear an 8.5-9, more like a 9 in most shoes. I ended up keeping the size 8 in these. Taupe color is a perfect neutral to go with everything. Great with jeans and sweaters. Haven't wanted to take these off since I put them on!

I’m a 7.5-8 & typically wear an 8. Got 7.5 & they fit perfect. I have a narrow foot & I would say they are narrow because they fit well. They do look like grandma shoes, not the cutest shoes but comfort won me over. I would not hesitate to buy another pair.

It’s a wonderful leather shoe that is well made. I will have to break the shoe in at home, because it is a little snug in width. Other than that I love the shoe.

Good God Almighty I want to buy a pair of these in every color! The leather is the softest I have ever felt, and it feels like I’m not wearing anything! Which is the goal when I have to buy shoes, because let’s be honest, I’d rather be barefoot! Kudos Börn!!

They fit great right out of the box; super comfortable first time wearing. I have had them about 5 days and have worn them 3 times already. Love them!

I have not yet received this particular pair, but the Born Malena loafer has been my favorite casual work shoe for years. I have this model in other colors, and it is soft, flexible, extremely comfortable and quiet (the bottoms are gum rather than hard, so you do not clank as you walk). There is no arch support -- this is a very flexible, natural shoe -- but, for office use (some walking, but mostly sitting/standing), these shoes keep my feet very happy and keep my arches strong (too much arch support every day can weaken arches). I have had some problems in the past with defective leather/color mismatches on shoes ordered from Zappos, so I withhold final judgment until the shoes arrive, but, in general, if you work in a jeans + blazer + loafers environment, I cannot strongly enough say how great this loafer is. As a sizing note: I take an 8 in athletic shoes and in most casual/dress shoes, but in these loafers I take a 7.5. Bear in mind when you order that the shoes are real leather, so they will stretch to your foot as you wear them.

Got the shoes in red, which is a nice shade. Will be nice in summer. Had to go one half size smaller and Zappos made this easy to do. Excellent customer service.
