I used to have a GORE TEX pro shell. This jacket is just as water proof and very durable. More casual of a fit than I like but comfortable.

Is a good product more like for when it is raining

while this coat did not eliminate the cold completely, it did fend off the wind, making it very effective in windy out doors. The only problem this coat created was it being rather light, needing another sweatshirt to perfectly combat the cold.

I thought I was buying more of a winter coat, but this turned out to be more of a spring jacket. I'm not leaving a bad review because it was an error on my part.

I think my purchase was well worth it, Although the jacket doesnt fist just right I always appreciate the design and qaulity or North Face. If I can suggest anything it would be, Why not expand on colors and varieations of designs? I know I sometimes draw designs that I would love to wear on my North Fave Jackets!!

This jacket is great! The material is "sturdy" and the lining is more comfortable that I expected. Definitely recommend this raincoat for anyone looking for something light, but effective!

This is a very nice wind/rain jacket but I felt that it was over priced. I bought my twins basic winter jackets from Northface and they were the same price. This jacket is very thin and works well but again I felt it was overpriced.

My husband doesn't like heavy jackets, this was great for him. Light weight, plenty of room, comfortable, and he was very pleased with the purchase.

Lightweight and stylish. Great buy. The jacket has a hood. Nice for April showers.

It's light, portabls, and comfortable. I would by more colors but it's a bit on the pricy side

I am a fan of this raincoat aside from the slightly stiff feel. All in all though, I can tell this coat will keep me dry without leaking. Also it fits so I can layer for those cold wet days yet never makes me look like I am wearing a poncho.

I just bought this jacket and really like it. This jacket is definitely meant to be worn with layers; it is very thin but very waterproof. It will probably not keep you warm except by being windproof. CONS: I have a really small stature and even the small is very loose and baggy. I'm 5'8 and 130 lbs and I really can't stand how loose the arms are on me. It looks awkward and unstylish in my opinion, even after layering. Still, however a very practical and effective rain jacket. 4 stars. I wish there was an XS.

Everything about this jacket is amazing. The only reason it's not a perfect rating because even I got a small, it still runs a little big, and I'm 5'6.

This is a fantastic light weight rain shell. I wanted something to keep me dry that wasn't too thick. It has vents in the armpits to breathe. It has plenty of pockets also. The only complaint I have is the flaps at the top of the zipper are a bit large. When it's zipped up it covers your chin which can be a little annoying. Overall I still recommend this jacket.

The Jacket is worth the money but you can't wear it when it's cold. It's a nice fall and spring jacket. Came in during the time they said it was. Overall great purchase

Perfect jacket when it rains and it fits nice. Previously had a large jacket but lost weight so i had to get a medium and feels good.

I'm a big guy and I know that so I ordered a 3x for me! Well the design and the jacket was really nice but this gut of mine had no mercy on the zipper! So I'm holding on to it and motivated to leave the beer alone and drink more water! I'm also running so I can get down a size nice jacket

I ORDERED THIS JACKET ON LINE BUT THE SIZE WAS TOO BIG. I EASILY EXCHANGED IT AT A NORTH FACE STORE. IT IS WHAT I EXPECTED AND MORE. FITS WELL,LIGHT, COMFORTABLE AND THE HOOD WITH DRAW STRINGS DOES THE TRICK.. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH IT.

Perfect rain coat/windbreaker/winter coat fit snowboarding. Great in the rain- completely water proof and comfortable material. Nice shell over a sweatshirt with lots of adjustable pullies to ensure proper fit.

I had a venture jacket that I enjoyed for many years.....until it began to "delaminate" in the neck area. I retuned it to the warrantee dept..... After a couple of weeks, I called for a status update......and was advised they would be sending me a new jacket due to the delamination. They also gave me the opportunity to select a color. This is what I call customer service......and is precisely why I buy NF !!!!

This is my 2nd Venture jacket. I love the inside breathable liner. I'm 6'-4" and sleeve length is always a problem for me. Not with this jacket

the jacket looks very stylish and it gives you enough space for layering. Its good at repeling rain. Also offers ventalation so that it feels comfortable.

This is a great shell. Used this a lot during my year in the UK and has kept me dry
