Sizing is good, quality is all there as usual. Jacket is crazy thin and will provide zero warmth. Used once so far.

Love the quality of the jacket, don't love the price :) The transaction went smoothly and without problems.

The fit of the jacket is spot on if you plan on wearing only a t-shirt underneath. If you want to layer or wear a sweatshirt at all you will want to go up one size. The jacket could use more room in the shoulders. The length is shorter then I would like. It hits right at my waist, typically wear jackets that are about 2 inches longer. The jacket performs as described, keeping you protected from rain and wind. It would be nice to have an additional pocket on the chest/side area for cell phone.

This jacket is not waterproof or windproof. It may be passable in a light drizzle but waterproof it definitely is not. And if its a humid day out w rain you’ll feel disgusting and sticky when wearing this jacket.

It's a nice jacket, but my husband hated the material. It was very noisy, thin and felt kind of like being wrapped in stiff vinyl. He's also usually a medium and it was too big. The size would work if you wanted to use this jacket as a top layering piece (over your normal winter coat, for example), but definitely not on its own. The plus is that it's quite lightweight for travel (more of a windbreaker; no insulation) so it could work for people who are looking for something functional like that.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
I’m 6’3” 200 pounds and the medium fit well. Otherwise, this jacket has a plastic like feel that didn’t breathe well and made me sweat too much. What’s the point of staying dry on the outside if you’re soaking wet under the jacket?

Nice rain jacket but runs big. Go a size down from your normal size.

This jacket is verryyyyy thin. Thinner than I expected. Definitely to be used during spring/summer when its warm out and raining. Provides no warmth at all but if you layer it, it should be fine

I live in the city in the US that gets the most rain by volume. It works, but it sucks I can't buy the ones from before that had better colors. These look awful to me now.

Runs large in my experience. One of the hand warmer pockets also didn't come with a zipper pull. Other than that, great jacket.

No instructions on how to fold and stow for packing. I bought the jacket assuming that I could fold, zip and stow, carry in my briefcase for the odd downpours. Jacket is on the large-size and I wear an XXL. Quality is quite fine.

Great jacket just didnt have the right fit. Unlike Goldilocks, L was to large and the M was too small.....

This one of several North Face rain jackets I own and was purchased to keep in my daypack (or backpack for overnights). Fits fine in a Men's large and I'm 5' 7" 175lbs. I bought this to replace another TNF rain jacket that didn't have pit zips or a fully adjustable hood. The adjustment in the back is the one that keeps the front of the hood from dropping down over your eyes and is a MUST. (If you wanna see where you're going!) I've worn this 4-5 times and it's a great windbreaker shell and kept me protected from light rain however, even with the pit zips and having the front partially unzipped I was soaked from sweat. Same thing each time I've worn it so, breathable??? Not so much. This is hiking 5-10 miles up and down hills with a 20 lb pack with my Golden Retrievers. Takes a good while to dry, too. It's very light and takes up very little space in my pack, which is a plus. I have a lot of gear (Sleeping bags, tents, jackets, clothes, etc) and LOVE most of my TNF gear and their lifetime warranty.

Wasn't what I was hoping for. Very very lightweight. I ordered a large and it fit like a 2XL. Sent it back to North Face and probably will get a medium.

Great product. Very good quality and is as advertised good for rain. Improvements to feel of inside of the jacket particularly around the neck. Material feels like wet cold rubber once it gets damp or wet outside and for many people is not a comfortable feeling. Often times I will wear a scarf even though the weather might not call for it because of this.

My wife has last year's women's version in red and is very pleased with it. A semi-technical jacket at an affordable price. However, I did not buy one for myself as this years men's colours are not to my liking. I understand some people want boring earth tones, but not even one bright colour? No red, yellow, or green! I guess the marketeers have decided this affordable jacket is for casual wear around town rather than practical outdoors usage where you might want a higher visibility colour on the hills or water. Instead you apparently have to purchase a more expensive "technical" jacket. Well you lost a sale...

I like the jacket but I barely got pen ink on it and it will not come out- so I have a great jacket with pen scribble -

I purchased this for my teen son and it is a very nice jacket. I just wish it was just a bit thicker. The material is very thin.
