Really stylish jacket! I get a lot of good compliments, I typically use this jacket on the go for like shopping, movies, parties etc. When the weather gets colder I'll just add on a sweater under and you'll be fine! Unless if it's -10 degrees lol I'm 5'9 kind of athletic build and weigh 165 lbs and I got a size medium, truly recommend go to true to size.

Wear this jacket in the rain. I would prefer the sizing to be a bit larger so you could wear a layer underneath but the sizing is accurate.

One of the best jackets I have ever bought

I use the venture 2 jacket for light rainy and windy days. I have worn a couple of times already and so far very satisfied on how it kept me dry. Keeps you a bit warm but wouldn't recommend if it's really cold outside. I purchased the red & black venture 2 jacket and looks very stylish as well as a comfortable fit. Would recommend!

Fit is slightly large, allows for an under layer. It's nice and light and highly packable. Totally wind proof and water proof in my experience.

Love the jacket!

I bought this in a TNF Outlet in Lancaster, PA today. I had sent my marmot precip to warranty service about a month ago. So, i needed another wind/rain coat. I originally went to TNF Outlet to look for a thermoball jacket. But, when i discovered this, i left the store with it instead. The thermoball can wait. I already have a thermoball vest. The things that impressed me with this venture 2 are as follows: 1. The lining, its different than the first version of the venture (which is also like the precip). So, im leary of linings like my precip in for warranty. Had it since febuary, yet the lining os showing thru in several places. Second, it has pit zips, just as good as the precip. Third, it seems a bit thicker overall than the precip, and a litfle stiffer. Im ok with this. I will use this venture as a wind coat during salt water fishing from pier, surf, or boat. Use it for rain. But i will also use it as an outer layer all winter. I got a great price at the outlet, only one venture 2 there! Its grey. Not a bad color to wear with anything. Yet, i like the red. So, now i have my outer shell for my next fishing trip in two weeks. Thanks, and enjoy. Pat

Pretty nice jacket. I suggest going a size smaller. Loose fit but I think the purpose is breathability. Overall, a nice jacket especially for windy seasons.

Great little rain coat with style.

This jacket is one of the best rain jackets I've had! Love how it folds into itself and I can keep it in my pack for when I need it! Wish it had just a little more length in the body but it's fine. Check out my review and test video to see how waterproof it really is! We took it out in a severe windstorm on the coast of Haida Gwaii and I stayed nice and dry! Can't say enough about this jacket it is perfect for cold weather as long as you have a nice Northface hoodie underneath to keep you warm. If you get too hot all you have to do is open up the vents, perfect jacket for the rain .

I use this product when walking to work on a rainy and or windy day. The jacket keeps me dry and blocks the wind, wearing this with a small sweater keeps me very warm. The jacket is easy to fold and store into a backpack.

This jacket is great. I wear this on days it rains and it keeps me dry. Does exactly what I expected it to do. I commute to school, so I also like that it is easily packable.

This is the best rain jacket I've ever owned. I love the fact that it packs into its own pocket - that makes it the perfect travel companion!

It's a really good product to give as a gift or just to be ready for a rainy day.

I bought this jacket for my boyfriend, as he has never owned a rain jacket before. He loves it! He was SO excited to get it in, and wore it as soon it arrived. The first thing he said was how warm it was in the cold weather! But it was still breathable in the warmer weather. We will from now on only be buying The Northface jackets.
