Held its form well. Looked great on my wife, floats, stays in with toggles. I went and grabbed one after her success.

This is an excellent hat for sunny and hot weather. It keeps the sun off of you, while being extremely breathable and light weight. I have been using one for a couple of years now, and it has been incredibly durable.

Perfect for sunny days on the water! There's only so much sunscreen you can wear... this hat gives great protection for your face/neck.

I got this for sun protection at work but I ordered the wrong colour. I don't care, because the hat is great. I should mention as well, I mistakenly ordered two. No factor, I'm keeping one and giving the other to a friend as a gift. I already own one in the olive colour, so my next one will be my third. They are just that good, and that comfortable. Highly recommended.

Immediately upon donning the hat. An eagle soared down and dropped a fully cooked 32" trout onto a plate I didn't even see sitting in front of me. Grizzly bears now run from me, and elk eat from my hand. I wore the hat only to kill a giraffe with my bare hands. Unicorns are real...you can only see them.wearing this hat.

This is the perfect hat that breathes and offers sun protection. I ran 30 kms with this hat and it was very comfortable, protected me from the sun and breathed well.

Lightweight but rugged!!

perfect brim overhang size; not too large-not too small. I use this hat for climbing-hiking and hanging out. Overall performance is excellent and it so multi/purpose.THANK YOU OUTDOOR RESEARCH for such functional and durable products! I love the fit and it is not as stuffily hot as I thought it would be.This is not the only O.R.hat I own; and it won"t be the last.(A VERY SATISFIED O.R. END USER)

Bought this for my teenage son. He's worn it several times with no complaints. I question how breathable it is, but again, no complaints. So far it's a winner.

WHEN IT IS NOT VER HUMID OR THERE IS NOT 100% SUN GLARE I"LL USE MY HELIOS; BECAUSE IT DOESN"T VENT OR PROTECT AS MY CABRIOLET HAT. ONCE AGAIN; CERTAIN EQUIPMENT FOR CERTAIN CONDITIONS.FOR THE CONDITIONS I USE IT FOR IT PERFORMS EXTREMELY WELL.

Now that I have order my first hat from OR I realize that I am a large not a XL. It still fits because of adjustment but from now on Large will fit me better. I already order another different hat from them and it was a large and that fit perfectly.

Good hat for kayaking and hiking. Brim size is just perfect.

This hat is great for sun protection when traveling in the rainforest, savanna, and boating. And also for gardening.

Favorite hat

Love this product, wide brim to keep the sun from getting to your head, scalp, ears, and part of your neck. Super lightweight, soft, collapsible, and stylish, in my opinion. Would recommend for sun exposure, probably not that great for rain or cold weather exposure.

Perfect for warding off showers on the water, or trial.

Great hat for summers on the lake and boating. Light material isn't too heavy for hot days and gives better shade from sun than baseball cap.

Love the hat. Brim is a great size as it isn't too large but helps shade my ears.

I have had many similar hats, but this one is my new #1 for outdoor protection and comfort. Very comfortable and light weight. Great protection from the sun.

Great fishing hat .. I use this hat for Kayak fishing and bowfishing..

I am a mailman in St. Louis. The summers here are brutal walking door to door. This hat is PERFECT for me. It is light weight and keeps the sun off me all day. I have tried many other hats on the market and none come close to the OR hats.
