The hat is light and comfortable to wear. Fits a bit on the large size but not enough to fall off. Great coverage for the sun when out in the Kayak. Highly recommend this hat.

I first bought this hat in 2008. The new design is has a broader rim/visor and tightening button is not as easy to use as the original. But, you can be sure I will still wear it!

This is exactly what I was hoping for. The hat has a wide brim to shield me from the sun, which is necessary for me as I work outside in many ecosystems including the desert. The brim is stiff, it keeps its shape well and the hat breathes well enough that I don't feel like my head is sweating more than normal. Overall pleased with this purchase.

I use it nearly every day. I need the protection from the sun. In the wind I use the chin strap. In a light rain it keeps my head dry. It absorbs sweat. It is washable. The size is adjustable. This is my third one over many years.
