I am just buying a new Helios today, I have use this hat constantly in the Australian Outback as a Park Ranger for 6 years and it was of no surprise when it finally ripped today after more than a 1000 days on my head. I like that it is washable and stays on my head in high winds, you can squash it into a pack and it returns to shape. Working in the Outback for 30 years I've owned heaps of hats including the venerable Australian Akubra which is hot, sweaty and overrated for sure. maybe I'll buy two Helios...

This hat is the perfect size for me. The brim is big enough to keep sun off my ears and neck but not so big that it gets in the way.

The Helios Sun hat, does it's Job!great coverage for your head and neck and with the drawstring attachment stays on your head. Great product!

This is my 3rd Helios hat. Wear every day , Beach and dog walking. I have skin issues from sun exposure. This protects me and allows me to be outside without fear..

The Helios sun hats are great, and this is my second purchase. They're very lightweight and offer good protection from the sun. I use them primarily for water sports such as paddleboarding and kayaking since they dry quickly.

Bought this for a week long trip to the Great Sand Dunes in CO in July. It was hot but this hat kept me cool. I like the brim is not too big but big enough to shade my face and neck. It rolls up and packs neatly but keeps it's shape when unpacked. Nice and light weight so you forget it's on. Overall, I'm very happy with it.

Purchased this hat to wear casually, at work, and working around the house. The fabric is light and breathable allowing some heat to escape. The brim is wide enough to protect my ears and nose from the damaging summer sun.

i wore this hat for 5 years daily, year round to work for a redi mix concrete outfit until i retired 6 months ago. i still wear it for mowing the lawn, etc. it's gotten washed weekly all that time, and it doesn't really even look any different. drawcord still keeps it on in the wind. it's pretty good in the rain, too, but it leaks after an hour or so. not meant to be waterproof either! wow! i have a new one ready to go in case it ever wears out..... we'll see.

Wear it golfing, and walking. Nice overall, could be better if the brim was a little more rigid.

I have owned seven of these hats counting the four I just ordered in multiple colors. There is no better hat made!

I bought this for a vacation and it did great and continues to do well.

This is the most versatile sun hat I have owned. It is my go to for mowing the lawn to beach and/or mountain vacations. I have two different colors. The hat is well made, and comfortable.

I have one of these from 2009. Still in great shape. Excellent sun protection for the ears and neck as well as the face.

Love this hat. This is my daily go-to except for bad rain, when I use the Seattle Sombrero. Brim is wide enough to give decent face and neck sun protection, but light enough to wear all day long. The brim is semi-formable and doesn't flop much at all. The only real issue with the hat is sizing. You really need to try them on, aa even in same sizing, head circumference varies a lot and is not consistent. Also varies significantly based on color. Easy to do if you buy it in-person, but I wouldn't buy online unless you're okay with possibly going through a return/exchange process. Would gladly buy again and likely will if I ever lose this one.

I purchased the orange hat and it's such a fun color. This hat does not make my head sweaty and it covers my face, neck, and shoulders from the sun. The drawstring is perfect and the underbrim is dark gray so it doesn't reflect the sun into your eyes. Perfect for my beach days, paddleboard outings, fishing trips, hikes, and boat days. I recommend this product!

This is a "must have" purchase. Lightweight, dried quickly, doesnt smell musty or stay damp. Offers great protection from the sun

I love the Helios Sun Hats!! They are the best! I think I have five now. I hike, do yard work and even play tennis with them. It's great that they come in multiple sizes and are still adjustable. Most importantly, they really protect my big ole bald head from the sun!! These are the best hats I've found after years or searching!!
