I love these shoes! They are incredibly comfortable. I can and have walked all day in them - up and down streets and stairs and hills in the French Riviera and across Provence, as well as around my home town. They are neutral and unobtrusive and even make me feel chic. They look great with both pants and dresses. They are cool enough for summer, but closed enough for cooler weather. I think I might have to order another pair as a back-up.

Absolutely love the Dansko Vera. This style will go with many different outfits for almost any occasion. I can wear them for hours without any foot issues and the "peep-hole" is the perfect size so your toes don't hang out which is not a good look. I will probably purchase this style in another color. Thanks Zappo's for making shoe shopping a pleasant and easy experience.

No joke, the best sandals I have ever worn. I bought them in the plum color first and wore them on a 4 mile dog walk right out of the box. I never had a blister or any rubbing in any areas. I love them so much I bought the red ones too. I give them 5 stars all day long. So happy with my purchase.

I have finally found the perfect travel walking shoes. It's very comfortable, and also looks good with skirts and pants alike. Love the pewter color.

I love these shoes! For a low heel, they have an elegant feel to them and will dress up any slacks or skirt. They're VERY comfortable!

LOVE this shoe. The foot bed is definitely a bit more narrow than "normal" Danskos. I was worried about that at first. But, I've gotten used to it. Just a fabulously comfortable, fashion forward sandal. Highly recommend.

These were comfortable from the moment I put them on. I've already gotten lots of compliments on them (because they are adorable) and they are great for summer walking. The style is very versatile- I can easily wear them to work or out with friends. The color is a little lighter than shown in the picture above - more of a dark silver than black - which is what I wanted.

Love these! I have them in two colors. They are so comfortable - wore them to a conference and walked the exhibits with no problems.

Beautiful color, not too shiny but I have a large bunion and the fit was not acceptable.

These sandals are great! So soft, true to size a fabulous color that goes with everything. The wedge is high enough to wear with shorts or a dress. I use these for travel and they are the only sandals that I need to pack. Dansko shoes are supportive and this style is a bit more current and stylish. Am considering going back for another color!

These are my new favorite summer sandal. I have plantar fasciitis, they're really comfortable and provide great support.

These are the kind of shoes that you can take out of the box and immediately walk miles in. They are so comfortable, and pretty stylish for a comfort shoe.

I love how comfortable these are on my wide feet. I usually wear a 37 in Danskos, but like other reviewers, found my usual size too large. The 36 was a perfect fit. I ordered them in Pewter and love the color. Wish they still had my size in the plum color because I would order a second pair.

I wore these for the first time last night and my college-aged daughter said, "Mom those are so cute I would wear them myself!" Stylish and with great support--not easy to find. These have enough arch support for my high arches, but are soft enough to be comfortable for hours. Everyone at work today commented on how cute they are. I bought the Pewter, which is actually more of an muted gold color than a dull silver, but the color is still neutral, just not in the way I expected. They do run a bit smaller than my other Dansko sandals in the same size, but are a bit wider across the ball of the foot. Someone with narrow feet would have problems with fit.

I normally wear an 8.5 but ordered an 8 after reading some of the reviews. Still too large and to wide, thus, not giving the support I need. LOvely shoes though, Wish I could wear them. cs

My feet are happier in Dansko's thicker soled shoes. These are adorable and would go with anything, but my feet were uncomfortable in the thin sole, and the arch didn't feel at all like my more cloglike Danskos. Same upper, on a thicker or stiffer sole, would be ideal.

I just received the Dansko Vera in Plum. I cannot believe how comfortable they are. I have a bunion which is making it more and more difficult to find shoes that fit comfortably. These are not the most stylish sandals in the world but considering how comfortable they are I think I may have to order them in every color. They are stylish enough.

This was my first Dansko purchase, and it won't be my last. I was surprised how great they feel. I bought in red, then a second pair in black. As others have said, the are wide in the toe, and have a nice arch support. The bottom cork sole is slightly cushy. The only negative I have is the white stripe around the bottom makes them look more casual - without the stripe they would be more dressy.

I love these sandals! True to dansko form, they are very comfortable. I have the plum color and it is neutral enough to be worn with anything but still something a little different than the basic black. These are my new everyday summer sandals for this year.
