Since my feet are on the wide side I was hesitant to buy shoes that I couldn’t try on prior to purchasing. But after reading the reviews I decided to give it a try. These shoes are SO comfortable! The nubuck is soft and I was able to wear these shoes all day right out of the box. I bought red and navy and am considering a third pair in black. I can see that the toe box might be too wide for someone with a narrow foot but they’re perfect for me.

After searching for a comfortable and fashionable sandal for the past year, I finally found it with "Vera". This shoe has such a wonderful soft feel in the nubuck leather. The straps softly drape the skin without pinching or rubbing. The heel height is perfect with the latest summer capris, dresses and shorts. Not too high or too low. I purchased the "oyster and blue" colors which coordinate well with my summer wardrobe. Being an avid walker, I appreciate the great arch support as well. Can't say enough about this sandal. Thank you Dansko for creating such a beautiful shoe.

I have been looking at these sandals for a year. I fell in love with the red ones. The are very comfortable. They are a little wider than a normal regular width. I want to get more colors.

Love my new Dansko Vera! I was looking for something with a low wedge heel and support for my high arches that was cute and also looks good with my tailored suit type dresses, but also work with dress work pants. These totally fit the bill. True to size and width. I walk everyday at lunch and no need to change into my tennis shoes when I wear these.

Very cute comfortable but to wide..

I have bunions and naturally wide feet. It’s tough to find a comfortable, durable and stylish shoe but this is amazing! It cuter in person and the longer I have it the more I love it. Would’ve given 5 stars for comfort but the stitching on the inside of the strap is a little scratchy.

So....I own 4 pairs of the Dansko Vera and I absolutely love them. They give me the arch support and comfort that I desperately need and the style of a dressier sandal. I wear them with everything....slacks, dresses, capris, shorts.....I even wore the black pair with my gown to our son's wedding. Due to plantar fasciitis, and a pesky knee issue, I need the Dansko style and support in a shoe. It certainly delivers! They run larger like most of the Dansko shoes that I own. In this shoe I wear a 37 and in other non-Dansko shoes, I am typically a size 7 1/2. The leather is so soft and they still look fabulous even after wearing them in the rain. I love this shoe. Period.

Many compliments at the office today! The metallic color is a nice neutral, like a subtle bronze shade.

Have this shoe in pewter. Loved it so ordered in black.

Loved this shoe but the fit was large on me and I have a wide foot and usually wear a size 8.5 or 39. I'm going to try for the next size smaller.

Really pretty on my feet. Sole feels comfortable.

Really great shoes. Wide to fit the whole base of my foot. Comfortable even though it's a slight heel. Look cool.

Love these shoes! Comfortable right out of the box and into 2 days of lots of standing, walking, and climbing stairs. I am in between a US 7 & US 7.5 with a high instep and boxy toes, so when it comes to Dansko I go with a 38 in Dansko because they hit my arches in the right spot. However that does leave extra room for my toes, which sometimes feels like they are too big; but from experience, I’ve learned that going with a 37 is a mistake. At any rate, I plan on getting another pair!!

I'm a solid 9 so I got the 39 and they fit, but are cutting it close. They're really comfortable, right out of the box. Not at all "clog" like; they're lightweight and the arch support is great. They're great looking; definitely not sexy or edgy, so if that's your look, this isn't it. They'll be great walking shoes or traveling shoes this spring and summer. The red is somewhat muted, but I'll probably order another pair in black or pewter.

I originally ordered the 39 because Zappos listed it as my recommended size. Turns out I am definitely a 38 - I had to exchange. An incorrect size really matters with Dansko's because of the arch support. But the shoe is great once you are in the correct size. Super comfortable and light weight (not heavy like clogs) and I am getting so many compliments on them!

My feet are on the wide size due to various foot problems (bunions and the like) so Dansko is one of my go-to brands. The red Dansko Vera is stylish, lightweight, and oh so comfortable. I even got compliments on the shoes, something that doesn't happen too often, because I stick to buying shoes for comfort rather than style. The Vera was a home run in both departments.

The material and workmanship is perfect and I truly love the color. Foot bed is comfortable but the open toe looks odd on my slightly short foot. Great potential but not for me.

Comfortable insole. I first ordered a 9M, my true size in a sandal. It ran just a tad short, so I reordered a 91/2 M. The part that covers the toe area was to wide for my foot. The 9M fit good around the front bed of the foot. Guess I'll keep the 9M. But for the price of the shoe I wishing for perfect. Ordered the bronze. Great color. You can wear it with just about anything.

I love these shoes, but you need to know that it took me 3times to get it right.....I ALWAYS were a 38, and I own several pairs of Naots, but in this style I wear a 36. They run very large and wide. My foot borders more on the wide side and these are a comfortable fit.

Such a beautiful shoe! Basically my perfect sandal in terms of style. Sadly, it just didn't fit my foot well. Ordered size 41, which fit my long feet well, but straps were too loose and not adjustable. Had to return, but I keep admiring ;)

Loved this sandal! I’m almost always a size 8 but I had to return this for a 37. There is still room in the toe. My feet are average (not wide). I love that this sandal is light weight and the red color is super cute! I ?? Zappos easy returns

I love these shoes! My foot is flat and narrow and theese shoes are not too wide for my skinny foot. The velcro ankle stap holds my foot snugly and the footbed is comfortable and supportive, The small open toe is just right for a summery look, yet not too casual to wear to work. Most important, they were super comfortable right out of the box! Im going to them in every color!!

I loved the fit and feel of these shoes, but I didn't love the colors available. I had to return them and wait for black to be available - I just want them to go with everything and can't afford all the fun colors. I have flat feet, and it seems like these would be comfortable to wear walking all day. Love them, need black!
