Wow, these shoes seem to run really big. I first tried a size 37 because I have an older pair of Dansko sandals in that size. (I also wear size 37 in Naot sandals and size 6.5/7 in other brands.) But when I put on the 37 in this style, they were huge! So I returned those and ordered a size 36. I received those today and they are still too big: slightly long and quite loose in the ankle strap/heel area. I'm debating whether it's worth it to try a size 35. I do like the style and they seem like they would be comfortable, in theory.

I love Danskos for their comfort and was excited that these looked a little more fashion-forward than their usual sandals but the Vera just missed the mark for me. I usually take a 40 in their clogs with plenty of room in the toe box but this 40 was just short enough to make my long feet look even longer and they are a bit narrower than usual Dansko style. Though they were quite comfortable and had decent arch support, the straps were too chunky and the peep toe was so far forward that it made my feet look oversized and ugly. Too much space between the ankle strap and the peep toe was just not pretty. The little white sole is cute and they look cute in the photo but on my feet they were just too Flintstoney. Sending them back which is a bummer because they were pretty comfortable.

Sadly, I'm in between the Dansko Vera size; I'm a solid 7.5 and the recommended 7-8 was way too big and the 6-7 was a bit short so the sides of my feet didn't quite fit in the up front leather ban, with my baby bunions just a bit outside the edge of the leather. Really loved them otherwise.

Disappointed in these and sending back. I own many Danskos. These were much longer and wider on my feet than others - my feet were swimming in the toe box area. I found them on the frumpier side in terms of style. Liked the pewter color.

The straps cut into my arch. I was disappointed in this shoe, as I have other Dansko shoes that fit great!

I really wanted to like these, as the photos are super cute. However, the proportions are all wrong with the peep-toe. The leather across the top of the foot is situated very far up front towards the toes. The peep-toe was cut so that a only a portion of the big + first toes showed, but the rest were hidden. It made for odd optics on my feet: the top of my foot looked gargantuan + wide, and the toes looked squished. Too bad, it had potential to be another great Dansko purchase. As is standard for this brand, comfortable footbed & quality leather.

This was the strangest fitting shoe I've ever tried. The footbed was the right size, but the back strap was all wrong. Either my foot was up front in the she and the back strap was ~2 inches too far back, or my foot was all the way back against the strap and my toes were hidden. It was like the strap was placed in the wrong place. Strange fit.

These were stylish shoes but sadly just didn't feel right on my feet. Dankso shoes are "hit or miss" with me. I have a high arch and the arch didn't hit in the right spot on these. Also, the front leather piece rubbed on the top and side of my foot and would have caused a blister I am certain. Had to return.

Disappointing!! I've worn Dansko clogs/ shoes for decades but never a sandal. This style of shoe lacks the heel, ankle and arch support one would expect.

Love the comfort oof this shoe. I have it in two other colors. This one has developed marks on the leather that I am unable to remove.

Beautiful shoes! However, the toe box is so wide that I had to return them. I even went down a size and the toe box was still too wide. Such a shame because they were exactly what I was looking for.

Really cheap material-looks like cardboard

I am returning these - the bottom and arch support are really good - just like the Vera sandals that I bought two of and love. But, in this style, the top thick leather upper is SO stiff - I could tell immediately, just walking around the house that it would cut into the skin on the top of my foot. I'm also not crazy about the style overall - dowdy looking.

The length was perfect, but the toe piece was way too big for my foot. There was about 3/8" of air between foot and strap. I had to return it.

I didn't even try it on. The color red was very orange and the shoes were box-worn. On the sides where the seams touched the box, the color was worn off the vamp and the straps.
