Like other reviewers this shoe had to be sized down a full size. Instant comfort right out of box. Looking forward to wearing these on an upcoming trip to Europe.

I'm returning these because they were a little long for my foot. I liked that I could adjust the cross strap to help secure my feet in place, but the back strap was much too loose and I couldn't see my toes through the peep in the front so it looked kind of odd. I typically wear a 7.5-8 so I was surprised that these (size 38) were too long. If they had fit, I probably would have kept them because they were comfortable.

I love Dansko shoes, and I know they are 'not for everyone'. I was looking for a flat/low sandal that I could wear to work and this seemed to fit the bill. Very happy with the level of comfort. I have a somewhat wider foot and these were not tight at all--perhaps even a bit roomy (I wear a size 9 and ordered a 39). Stylish, not too 'open', but still summery, definitely a keeper & nice addition to my repertoire!!

On first try-on I nearly returned these because the arch seemed to dig into my sole and the back straps seemed tight, but they loosened up quickly. When I decided to stick with these cute sandals and wore them outside, I found that to my surprise they offered support as well as a lightness I don't usually expect from Dansko, and my legs felt less tired than usual. If you need rigid support under your toes, though, you might find these too flexible.

I needed to return the first pair for an exchange - the shoe was a full size too large. I haven't had a chance, due to constant rain, to wear them out and about as yet, but in the house they are very soft and comfortable and fit well. Being too wide is not an issue because I plan to wear these a lot, and as we all know, feet tend to swell after a while. Also, being too wide is fine because the toe opening is very small, so it is not going to allow a serious slide of the foot forward. The leather is very soft and a lovely color which will go with everything. I like them a lot.

This has the usual comfortable footbed and 38 felt true to size except that when the shoe is fastened, the back strap has lots of extra room behind the heel. Also, I had hoped to wear this with a dress, but the white stripe at the bottom looked way too casual, like wearing a pair of Keds.

I ordered this in red. The colour is gorgeous. The toe moved around too much (and I have wide feet!). It wasn't a width issue. I could have tried putting toe pads but I decided to try a size down and am waiting on those as we speak. I'm worried they will be too short, but they were so cute I decided to give them a try.

I bought these and the Vivian at the same time thinking I’d like the simplicity of these more. Nope! The Vivian are more comfortable because the straps give more and are cuter. So I sent these back.

I bought these shoes because I just loved the style. I got the black burnished and am a little disappointed they aren’t a softer leather. I wore them and the inside gave me a blister on my little toe! They are wide but borderline where they fall on my bunions. I am keeping them and hope they give a little with time. I might try them in the nubuck.

Cute shoe but the stap that goes around the heel and attaches with Velcro around the ankle had a 2 inch gap when pulled as tight as it would go on my foot. Might just be my feet but these had to go back.

These are pretty cute, but not as cute as the Vanna's. However, both are lacking in the usual Dansko arch support. It's moderate, but not good, and I need great. So I sent them back!

LOVE LOVE LOVE. *However, I bought a pair in May, wore them a lot (like 4-5 days a week), and they are very worn looking by end of June. The soles inside look dirty, and the leather outside is very worn looking - I even polished them twice. (Black Burnished is the color I bought). So I just bought another ($139) pair, because these are essential for me. My first time wearing Dansko (I can't fit into the clogs). I'm surprised they don't hold up to wear better. I like that the sole is wide to fit my whole foot - it's not hanging off the side like often happens with other sandals .

These sandals are lovely--they look nice with jeans or with a dress. While they're very comfortable and lightweight, these sandals don't have the level of support I'm used to in Dansko sandals. I find them comfortable for walking a few miles, but wouldn't wear them for a long day of walking (something I've often done with my other Dansko sandals.

So comfortable! Loved these shoes!

1. These were longer than expected. 2. The tomato red was a dull ochre-y red-orange color, not red-red. 3. I’m used to hard Dansko footbeds with rocker bottoms, so these were pretty flexible and not what I wanted. Also, I could feel uneven pavement through the sole. I hate that. 4. Returned them.

I wear a 7.5 and bought a 38. Too wide and long.

I am very happy with the look and support of these, but they are at least a half a size (maybe even a full size) too big. I am usually a 6.5/7, so I ordered the 37 and these were huge. I will reorder them in a smaller size.

The pewter color is more of a shiny bronze than the gray that appears on my computer screen.

I like fitting and style of this sandal, but the color is not the same on the website. I bought blue one, but the true color is more darker blue that isn't has fun taste, unfortunately.

I really wanted to keep these sandals. I have a wide foot and numerous foot problems and they felt comfortable except for the ankle strap was way too long and there is velcro to adjust it but it was too long for my foot. Color blue is real cute. Maybe Dansko will use a regular buckle next time.

Beautiful shoes, soft, nice color (look different that the picture), but is wide, plus after the use I am pretty sure will be very loose. Going back.

I really like the look of this shoe. The velcro closure up top helps keep the shoe in place. The only problem I have with the shoe is that the toe area is a little loose. I wish there was a way to tighten that area. I will likely return because my toes lift off the shoe and make it less comfortable to walk in.

As someone on a ceaseless hunt for comfortable but not ugly shoes, I was really pleased to find these. I walk several miles a day, to and from work, and the Dansko Vera sandals were a perfect fit the moment I slipped them on. No rubbing. No aching. They are not chic enough for a dinner date. But excellent choice with for your office skirts and dresses in spring and summer. I'm considering buying an additional pair and saving them in the back of my closet in case the shoe is discontinued.

Comfort is my first priority when deciding to purchase shoes. Due to being self conscience about my not pretty feet, I usually choose closed toe sandals. The toe opening for this shoe is so small, the toes don't really show, but they do get a bit of ventilation. These fit the bill well in the comfort department, so a black pair is now in my closet. I have high arches and long toes and usually wear size ten, medium width, but sometimes wear wide depending on if the shoe runs narrow. Ten, medium fit well and caused no discomfort when walking around in them right out of the box.
