This is my 2nd pair of the Moab 2 ventilator and still love them. These keep my feet cooler than normal hiking shoes and I love the support

I purchased this pair of Moab 2 Ventilators recently. This is my first pair of Merrill shoes, and I had heard a lot about them over the years from a friend of mine. These are so comfortable that I literally feel like the bottoms of my feet are getting a massage when I walk with them on! I highly recommend you give them a try! Well constructed, engineered and styled, these shoes provide a LOT of value for the money!

Initially, I didn't find these shoes very comfortable and contemplated returning them but I didn't have enough time before our hiking trip in NC. They ended up growing on me and I ended up loving them after a couple days of hiking. This was my first time hiking with a baby on my back so I wanted to get something with more grip than my sneakers and these worked great. I can't speak to the longevity of them because I only wore them for about a week but I'll definitely buy them again if they hold up well.

Comfortable right out of the box. You'll get great feedback from the shoe as it isn't clunky and it's super grippy.

Since the onset of the Pandemic, I've walked for nearly 10 million steps, all on Merrells - not bad for an 86 year old!

I bought them for light - moderate hiking. I thought, I'll wear them around the house to break them in and have enjoyed them so much, I'm wearing them some as well as causal shoes. Very pleased with quality and price I paid. My wife has the women's companion shoe as well. We hiked in our Merrell's today at Mt Mitchell NC and our feet appreciated our investment!!

Great shoe. I have worn-out three pairs of these and still come back for more. The run 1/2 size smaller than my Keen's.

I got these before going to Machu Picchu. Only wore them a couple of times beforehand because they felt comfy and broken in when I first put them on. They were great on pretty rough cobbled streets in Cusco and Aguas Calientes and perfect at Machu Picchu - plenty of support and surefootedness with no noticeable weight. The only problem I had was that even the best hiking shoe can't completely eliminate an old guy's huffing and puffing at altitude! :):)

I like these shoes. I need a 12W due to some aging feet. I have several pair as I tend to wear them out in 4-8 months. I do average over 3 miles per day walking and hiking. Took my older in service pair to the top of Mount Monadnock last Friday. They did fine. Good shoes.

The Moab 2s I purchased online came as advertised, brand new, and correct size. All my Merrell shoes and boots are comfortable, well made, and giving me extra support. I use them for doing my work around the yard, hiking (when I can get to a trail), taking a walk around the neighborhood, or moving from classroom to classroom teaching and working with my students and teachers at my school. Please keep making these quality shoes and boots! I am a returning customer!

Great all-around hiking shoe that is supportive and works well hiking a mixed terrain. They're my good ol' reliables and have been for years.

I walk miles every day and these shoes have kept my plantar fasciitis from returning. Great support for the arch and the foot in general.

Use the ventilator in the summertime to keep my feet cool, use the midtop gortex in the winter to keep my feet dry and warm. Love these shoes

The three most important reasons I continue to purchase Moab Ventilators-
1- My feet sweat. The Moab Ventilator allows my feet to breath, reducing the chance for blisters, puckering, and fungus.
2- The Vibram soles provide a reassuring grip on rock and the mountainous terrain where I live and hike.
3- The adjustable fit that accommodates changes due to foot swelling, sock thickness (seasonally), etc.
The arch supports are good, but because I also use Moabs in the gym, (lifting - so the shoe must support more than my weight) I replace the inserts every few months.
