This is a very comfortable shoe right out of the box.No break-in required.These shoes are made for rugged use and will last a long time. I am very pleased with the quality.

I have worn Moab Ventilator 2 shoes for many years. I like their fit and quality materials, especially the Vibram soles. I walk between four and twelve miles everyday, rain or shine, and the Merrells are more comfortable and last longer than other brands.

My MOAB boots are 10+ years old. My MOAB shoes are 8+ years old. Both are the iconic brown and I wanted an updated color choice. These are just as comfortable and look forward to using them on the trail. My others will last my lifetime, and the Ventilator will add to my daily choice.

Incredibly comfortable shoe for walking/hiking. I usually wind up with pain in my knees and back after physical days outdoors but not with these! Great shoe!!

My Merrell Moab 2's go everywhere with me. 8 hour shifts at work, walking and the gym. I have 4 pairs and just bought another but different style. Love my Merrells!!

I have been buying this shoe for 15 years. Seriously. A friend sells these at his store. I go in with sore feet. He says wear these. Never a problem again. I buy a new pair about every 18 months. I always have 3 pair on hand and rotate through them. If this shoe is ever discontinued, it could be life altering. I don't think I could handle it.

It does not hurt your feet at all ! I walk 5 miles a day and my feet do not get hot or sore. I walk in a nature trail for excersize!

Consistent sizing. Always buy 2 pair alternate days & replace every 2-3 years. NEVER have a problem.

I have been wearing Merrell shoes for years and typically for a hiker I usually go with the Chameleon and I do have a pair of those but I don't like wearing them for work. I had always seen the Moab and all its versions but never had tried them. I've gotta say wow! I should have tried them a long time ago. They are very tough and have great support! The sole seems to grab whatever terrain you are on, even concrete. I primarily use them for work and couldn't be happier. I got a pair of Moab 2 ventilators for summer and have already purchased a pair of water proof for winter.

I have three versions of this shoe. It just keeps getting better.

I wear 4E width and the Moab Vents make my feet happy right oit of the box. I have three other pairs of these as my everyday shoe rotation. I wouldn't trade them for anything.

Great shoes. Super comfy. Easy to put on and take off. Makes standing for hours a breeze, and goes with nearly anything I wear. Can't recommend enough.
