Don't fit or feel like they used to. Been buying Merrills for years and always bought 13W, those were way to big all a sudden and so tried the 13 M, still don't fit right and continue to get a blister.

I bought a pair of these in December 2021. 3 months later, the eyelet on the top of the boot completely came apart on my boot. The sewing of the eyelet completely let go. This would be my 6 pair and my last pair of Merrell shoes. I will definitely look at other brands. Terrible quality control and no warranty.

This is the 3rd pair of Merrell hiking shoes I have purchased. The other two pair are the Crosslanders. Those shoes are friggin amazing!! I have put many miles on them with zero complaints. However, with this Moab 2, they are absolutely horrible. I have worn them off and on for about 6 months now, and they kill my feet. Do yourself a favor, and do not purchase these. I wished you guys still made the Crosslanders, as those shoes were perfect! I do a lot of backpacking, and have worn those out. I purchased these Moab 2's to replace the Crosslanders, but there is NO comparison. None! So now I am back to looking for a replacement hiking shoe so my feet are not killing me on hikes.
If I were not beyond my 30 day return on these, I would definitely get rid of them. Hate them.

Seems like a decent shoe but the size was comically large. I bought a size 13 (box and shoes were labeled 13) but the shoes that came were at least an inch too big. I gave them to my brother who wears and 15-16 and he said they fit great trash quality control.

I have owned nothing but these model of shoes. The fit and trim are horrible. I will not buy again, I should return.

I was really looking forward to my first pair of Merrill's. My wife has 2 pairs and loves them. However, when I received my MOABs, they ended up being the most uncomfortable shoe. The footbed has no cushioning and feels like walking on concrete. I can imagine hiking or walking long distances in these. I don't like leaving bad reviews, but I need to for this product. Very disappointed.

I have some Moab 2 in W that I bought last year. This shoe, also a W, is definitely wider.

Always have worn original Moabs for years, but bought a pair of the new Moab 2 ventilators, and they are terrible. They do not fit to the size ordered, and the workmanship is terrible. Asked for a refund, and Merrell refused, so they will be donated to a charity. I cannot wear them. I will never buy a Merrell product again in my lifetime.

I have been wearing Merrel Moabs for ten years at least. The comfort and fit are just right for me. However, the last 4 pairs have all fallen apart prematurely- the
Rubber part around the toes is breaking down way too soon, so I will never buy another pair of Merells.

I cannot review this item since the wrong size was sent 3 times. I ordered a size 9 wide and received a size 11 wide on the initial order on after contacting customer service twice. The boxes were marked 9 wide but the shoes inside were all 11 wide.
Zappos has an inventory problem. Other Merrell's I have purchased fit well and are comfortable.

Bought 2months ago have only worn a few dozen times and the side split right above the sole, they were comfortable but do not last not worth the money. I would not purchase another morrel product, overpriced for quality.

This is a Men's Shoe. This item is NOT marked as a "Men's" Shoe. There isn't anywhere in the listing that says they are Men's, nor are they categorized in Men's shoes. Wake up Zappos and list these hikers correctly.

The 13 Wide is at best a medium. Do not buy this shoe if you need Wide.

Didn't like them. Sent them back. It felt as if they were pushing my feet towards the outside. I couldn't stand flat. I was afraid that they would hurt my knees if I walked any distance.

I have been wearing Merrels for about the past 20 years and every one of them, including the previous version of the Moab Ventilator have been great. The Moab 2 Ventilator is very disappointing! Stiff and very little cushion in the footbed.

Horrible shoe. I have 5 other MOAB's over 7+ years that I love/loved, but this one has something seriously wrong with it. The cushion insert is "rock hard" and does nothing to improve cushioning. I literally feel all the the sole's exterior knobs with every step. Substituting a Doctor Soles insert did little to help. A lot like walking barefoot over gravel.

Honestly, I've owned Merrells for years. I bought this pair to replace and older pair. Something has changed radically. Thought they might just need braking in. Nope. Just like wearing wooden clogs. Most uncomfortable hikers ever. Planning on taking them back to the store. Don't even care if they refund me. Simply unwearable.

I returned my size 11. It has been about 5 years of heavy trail maintenance and my shoes were worn out. So I got the same size as last time and no bueno. Size was way-to large, back to the search

I will never buy another Merrill product again because of the endless emails and texts you send. It's totally over the top and disrespectful of my time. I just bought my first pair and I don't need another one right way unless the shoes are crap and fall apart. Is that what you expect?

I have worn Merrell's for years and have always been very happy with them. I used them for hiking, work, and just everyday general use and not a complaint. I had a pair I purchased in 2016 before I deployed, wore them in the desert, used them for training and they lasted until earlier this year. l So I was upset when I noticed that the most recent pair I purchased, the Moab, where falling apart. The shoe is separating from the soul and the traction on them is not very good. I've had this pair for only 5 months and had worn them sparingly throughout the summer. I only just began wearing them more often within the past 3 months. I am very disappointed in these shoes and will not purchase them again.

I wear Combat boots all day so I figured like those my new Merrells would just take some time to break in, but I cannot stand to have these things on my feet any longer. My first hike out was only about 6 miles but my feet, knees and calfs were killing me by mile 4.
I would have been better off wearing my 3 year old lawn mowing shoes than these Moab 2 Merrells.
Hopefully Scheels will take them back. I had high hopes, but these are just plain terrible.

I assumed I was getting a premium shoe but what I received was a very sub-standard hiker I overpaid for. The biggest issue w these shoes are the inserts. They are CHEAP and offer no cushion. The shoes are very uncomfortable offering very little shock absorption esp in the heel. Had I known this I would have bought a 1/2 size larger and put GOOD inserts in them. I assumed I would not have to do this considering the price I paid for these shoes. I expected better. Extremely disappointed w Merrell!!!

The shoes I got are not Merrells. They are a cheap knock-off and contain no brand marks, no US sizing tag, and are different than the photo.
