I've bought this before and loved them! I've used my old pair for over 4 years. The challenge this time... I bought the EXACT same shoe and size and this time they are way too big.

Finding wide width walking shoes has become very difficult. These shoe need no "break in" period, they fit like a glove and were perfect. Ready to go for my daily walks to work and back.

These shies fit very well. They did not require a break in period to be comfortable. I did replace the insoles with softer ones.

This is my 6th pair of this shoe. This pair seems bigger.

The shoe is comfortable and well constructed but the Beluga color was much darker than pictured

The room in the toe box is very spacious. I wear a wide, and it's a pleasure not having to feel like you're jamming you're foot--there's room to breathe. I'm more of a walker than a hiker, but my distances are between 4-12 miles at a time about 3 times a week and it's usually moderate inclines, depending on weather and climate..

On my second pair of MOAB 2s. They last well, and for my feet are perfectly comfortable for work and play.

Sturdy shoe with great support. A bit stiff and heavy unlike my previous New Balance walking shoe but i feel like this Merrell is better for my feet. Other reviews i read are accurate that even though i have a wide foot and normally wear size 13 a size 12.5 would be better but half sizes are not offered. Regular width would probably be too narrow but a thicker sock should correct the loose fit.

They are great but I probably should have ordered the extra wide. My right foot is running over the side. Fit and comfort are great! I would recommend them greatly.

I usually buy the MOAB mid, but because of an issue ordering (Merrell has TWO different websites with different products available on each site...very confusing), I ended up with this. I was concerned about the heel slipping,but after a few hikes it's unnoticeable. I actually prefer the low heel now as it tends to give my Achilles a break. I've had issues in the past with the heel putting too much pressure on my Achilles, so this works better than I thought. Highly recommended for all hikers..

Product was as I was thinking it would be, may get a second pair. Have done several miles with no problems yet.

First, I should note that I am writing this review in reference to the original Moab Ventilator in Navy/Grey (this is not in reference to the Moab 2). This is a great shoe that I wore about once a week and they lasted me about five years until the sole of the right shoe fell off. I would have kept wearing them for another five years otherwise!

Shoe is great! My feet are just weird. These rub the side of my big toes, but most shoes do. Eventually my feet or the shoes will relent and all will be perfect.

What I expect out of Merrell. Quality and all day comfort.

These shoes were bought with the intention to wear them in Northern Ireland on different trails and excursions to different cities. The shoe seems to keep my feet a bit hotter then what I would like, but I am still very happy with them. I like the style, fit and durable. Additionally, I had purchased a smaller size but the return process was easy and free!

Also have weatherproof model which has a more cushioned sole. Otherwise, I would have rated this a 5.

I've owned multiple MOAB's and have many pair of Merrell shoes so I am well experienced with Merrells. These MOABs don't quite feel like wides. Don't seem to breathe as well as former 'ventilators' have either.

These shoes are very comfortable. Get back to me in a year and I will add another star if they prove durable.

As expected, these shoes were comfortable (for the most part) right out of the box. In fact, I took them on a 7 mile hike on the day that I got them and I only had blisters from where my socks slipped. They also held up well in west conditions and my feet only got wet when I splashed water into my shoe by accident. I ordered the black pair however, and they are some of the ugliest hiking shoes I've bought. Overall, great shoe though.

The only disappointment I had was that I was trying to buy some USA made shoes. I figured since there had quarters is in Michigan that might be made here but I was mistaken. The shoes are made in Vietnam. Other than that the shoes are very comfortable and I will probably buy from them again.

These shows are absolutely amazing. Very well constructed and comfortable. These were my first pair of Merrell shoes. I normally wear a size 8-9 depending on the brand. In this specific case a 8.5 WIDE was the show that fit me well. As a first time buyer I would recommend visiting a local retail to try different size configurations.
