Good bot for general mountain town living. My go to shoe that can take care of daily living whether it be a impromptu hike, getting supplies or planned outing. Second pair to handle mus season si always have clean one for the occasional meal out.

After 27 years on my feet as a police officer, I work in the security field now, and enjoy the comfort and quality of these shoes. They provide a well made shoe that supports me all day long. Whether it's standing,walking or running these never let me down. This is my fourth pair, and can pass as casual dress shoes, with all the features of an athletic shoe. Please keep makib these classics, I can't work without them.

I have problems with Plantar Fasciitis. These shoes are the best I have found and the most comfortable.

These shoes fix very well, and last me about 6 months doing construction.

I love the width of these shoes. I did purchase the men's version instead of women's since they run a bit wider. I've always had a really hard time finding hiking shoes that fit and are still comfortable. I see why my boyfriend gets the Moab Ventilators every time he needs new shoes. I will be doing the same from now on.

Really comfortable, lightweight, non-slip awesome shoes. Hours can go by and the comfort continues.

I have very sweaty feet and I work outdoors. Here in the midwest summers can be very hot and humid, and so far these shoes have been perfect! When the breeze blows I can actually feel the wind pass through the mesh on the shoe, it feels so nice. I have been wearing Merrell shoes for two years now and both pairs have been MOAB and I don't plan on switching anytime soon. Keep up the great work Merrell.

They wear well.they last alot longer then other shoes plus good traction on hills no slip or sliding.great product

I've been wearing Merrell shoes and boots for as long as I can remember. An awesome company with a great product and Customer support, they back their product. I bought these for a summer trip to the Bavarian Alps and a few city tours in Germany. I've been wearing them in since I've received them on some small hill hikes here in Rheinland-pfalz, Nahe wine valley. They are extremely comfortable, wear well, look good and do the intended job. I found the grip to be great on uneven surfaces and no loss of comfort when walking on paved paths. For what it's worth I highly recommend these shoes.

I recently retired my previous Moab ventilators and was looking for a replacement. I actually bought another brand of shoe and ended up returning it because it didn't fit well enough for hiking. I bought the Moab 2 Ventilator and am very happy with it. The new footbeds are a noticable upgrade over the last generation. The overall fit seems the same, which is great especially for returning users. The toebox is roomy and comfortable, and the heel locks down well for me with a nicely padded collar and tongue. I recently hiked for a week in southern Utah in this shoe. It breathed well, no hot spots, and I had great traction on sand , rock, steep scrambles, and even a little mud and ice. So far I really like them.

Laced them up and used them right away. No break-in needed. Very comfortable and love the foot support. Overall construction uses quality components that are assembled with care and do not fall apart after 6 months like some other brands. Very happy with this footwear. So happy that I now have three Merrill products.

I have worn Merrill boots every day (literally) for the past 14 years here in the Colorado Mountains...shoes hold-up...uppers never wear out..I just replace the shoes when the Vibram sole gets worn down...

Great shoe but I need them in black for work. Moab 2? Why did you stop the wide width in black????? Please, please tell me you have some old models in stock while you bring back the black color in the wide width category....

I have a Moab wide width which I puchased earlier this year in a brown tone. I wanted a grey or black. I read the reviews and got the Moab 2 Vent in a 13 W and it feels great. The reason I got this model is because of all the other reviews that said true to size.

Excellent shoe. Both comfortable and with good support. And its got a good look as well.

Have been wearing merrells for years here in northern Michigan and they hold up great. Most reliable shoes on the market.

I would recommend this product for fit, functionality and appearance.

This shoe has great support and ample room for comfort - so important for those of us who work long hours in variable conditions. They breathe well no matter how hard I am working and keep my feet cool and dry.

Have enjoyed these as my 6th pair of Merrell hiking shoes over the last 10 years. They have an excellent fit out of the box and are sized as expected (actual). Support is fantastic as is capability when hiking. Would highly recommend these to any active individual.

walk everyday about an hour up and down hills...was getting shin splints and aching feet bought these and immediately my shin splints went away..very comfy no aches

I have a hard time finding shoe that have a wide width. I have enjoy your Moab ventilators for a few years now.

Initially, the toe box appears to be a bit roomier/wider, which, for a much needed WIDE shoe is EXCELLENT! By way of example, I'm normally a 12.5 wide or 13 wide in shoes but needed a 14 wide in the Old model Moab, but can comfortably where a 13 wide in the Moab 2. It also definitely feels more stable as you walk, along with added arch support. Outstanding shoe, fantastic updates, and great job Merrell!
