The Moab 2 Ventilator offered the perfect shade of Black. It is slightly roomy, but it serves its purpose. My fav is the MOAB FST which doesn't offer the rich Black.

Great shoe and boot, I have both.

A great product. Good comfort, price, looks. I have had them only a short while so wear is to seen. I have had other Merrell products and expect these to be as great as previous ones.

I had a pair of low cut hikers. They always seemed a bit short and were hurting my toe. I decided to try another pair. Sure glad I did! These fit much better.

40 years old with 25 years Hiking experience is talking : Dear Merrell Team, never make any changes with this shoe. Because its perfect. This is the only shoe what am wearing over the years (everyday). Never had an issue on my long distance hikings here in the extreme coldwindy icey Norway and in the dusty trails hot paths in Turkey. Now bought a second pair the new model Moab 2 Ventilator just in case. am still wearing the old one.

This is our fifth pair of Merrill ventilators wide and I love them. I'm very outdoors living in Colorado find that they are a phenomenal Four seasons shoe. I hope you never stop making them. I will be forever loyal. Thanks Merrell

I bought my first Moabs in 2014 and wore them almost exclusively for three years! They were sooooo comfortable. My wife says I am hard on shoes and I guess she is right. When it was time to get a new pair I was, at first, disappointed that they old Moabs were not available. But the Moab 2 Ventilators that I got were even better! I've only had them for a month now but they fit perfectly right out of the box and I love the way they feel walking around. Thanks Merrell for making a great product even better!

These shoes were comfortable "right out of the box" as I expected. I always install third-party insoles very soon but these seem to be upgraded from Previous years. I will wear them for as many miles as they remain comfortable.

The Moab Ventilator is true to size, supportive shoe form, goid ventilation, excellent tread pattern for trails and boundering.

Great hiker out of the box, trail tested in the deserts of utah and mountains of Colorado. Awesome boot for the money, very comfortable!!

I was disappointed to discover that you changed the color that you refer to as earth.

This is my third pair of Merrell Moabs and the Moab II is one of the most comfortable hiking shoes I have ever owned. I have also had excellent wear from each pair, I have not been disappointed with Merrells.

These shoes fit and look great! There excellent performance always is consistent and dependable.

Was really looking forward to the MOAB 2. Expectations were met. The fit out of the box was fantastic! Toebox seems roomier, but the shoe doesn't feel any bigger for it. Seems to breathe a little better than the original ventilators I had, too. The only little niggle I have is about the new sole. The compound doesn't seem to be as grippy out of the box as the original, like they're harder, so it makes them a little slick. Almost like a new, firmer tire on a motorcycle or mountain bike.

Since I lightened my load by over 10 pounds, I no longer need those big heavy hiking boots. These shoes offer a wide base to land on while maintaining a normal size for your foot. That means softer landings and less chance of twisting that ankle. Great shoe, great price.
