These arrived in the mail and two days later I set out for a week of daily 5 to 9 mile hikes in Arches, Zion, Grand Canyon and Capitol Reed. They were comfortable with no break in required. Nice room in the toes but no slippage or banging of toes against the front. I love them. Not the least chafing or rubbing. We did a lot of slickrock hiking and I took great comfort from the sole grip.

I love my Merrells. I usually keep one pair for everyday and one pair for hiking. My Moabs were great. I was a little worried when I saw that they had a new version. But, they are still the great shoes that they were in the first version. Keep up the great work!

I never even had to break them in. The insole could be a bit more less stiff and rigid. The laces stay tied and are long enough. Light weight is great for summer use, if it ever gets here.

I love Merrell's. Comfortable, light weight and a great hiking shoe. Nothing else grips the path on a rigorous hike like a pair of Merrell's. I would not think of purchasing another hiking shoe.

Really like these hiking shoes. Very comfortable. I bought the Moab boot (i.e. over ankle) this past winter, which are also great, and fit perfect. I ordered the same size for the shoes, and it's just a little bigger than the boot, but not so big that I needed to send back. Very happy with the shoes

Comfortable and provides good support.

I bought these shoes after trying on a pair of similarly-styled Keens and deciding that these were more comfortable. These are like the multitool of shoes. I wear them to work sometimes, as they're pretty conservative looking and neutral colored. I like traveling with them, because I only need this one pair of shoes on the whole trip. I know they're hikers, but I've run miles of trails in these things with no problem. They're a little on the heavy side, but that is to be expected from a shoe that is indestructible. The extra weight is well worth having a wide heel and good toe protection to save you from kicking roots.

I purchased my first pair of Merrell boots a few months ago, at the recommendation of a co-worker. I was so happy after wearing the boots I decided to try a pair of the athletic style shoes. Man am I happy. These shoes fit very well, and are so comfortable to wear for long periods of time. One of the reasons I purchased Merrell shoes is because I have lower back issues and I was told by several people that good quality shoes may help. Well I am being totally honest when I say, wearing these two pair of shoes makes it much more bearable to walk or stand for a long period of time. Not sure why they make a difference but they do. The only thing additional I could ask for is that your company should start producing a nice high top boot for riding a motorcycle. Same sole and construction around the foot, but maybe ten to twelve inches tall. HINT...HINT...HINT.

I've worn Merrels for years. Last year, I tried out Nike. Initially, I felt they were slightly lighter and that was a good benefit. However, there was a clear difference in quality of material (the Nike broke down quickly) and the comfort in walking.

I inadvertently ordered the wrong size shoes so was fortunate enough to find out the customer service at Merrell is fast and efficient. I have worn Merrell's for over 10 years and have had excellent service from their product. I walk for a living, and avocation - disc golf - and buy at least two pairs per year.

I tried on many shoes that day and none of them were as comfortable as these.

This Merrell hiking shoe is just what I needed! I wear orthotics that I insert into my shoes and the Merrells are the best fit and most comfortable. I've tried several other brands and I've finally settled on Merrell for good. They hold up nicely and for my feet, they are designed to give the most comfort and keep me walking correctly all day long!

The size was accurate. The shoe feels great. Like the appearance.

Great outer-sole with excellent side support. Light as a feather and all so comfortable that I forget that I have them on at times.

I love them and have sandals, boots, waterproof shoes too and love them. I do have big trouble some feet and the let my doctor customize mine shoes before I even get them.

After taking only a short walk in these shoes, we took off for a long hike in Sedona with a lot of climbing. Shoes were great. Offered good traction and support on the trail or climbing rocks.

This is my 4th pair of Merrell's. I Hike 10-15 miles per week.

This is a great shoe for hiking hills and trails. Provides great stability. This is the 2nd pair I've purchased. Lasted about 9 months, but then,I hike or walk 5 out of 7 days a week. The 1st pair is still very usable, but is being used for work purposes.

Very comfortable and nicely built shoe. Price is very affordable and appropriate for this category of shoe. Purchased a second pair a week later.
