This is my second pair of MOABs and I'm just as happy with them as the first pair. Fit is spot on, look is great and function is perfect. I prefer the ventilated for airflow. They're slightly heavy for long trail distance but ideal for everyday or short hikes. Highly recommend!

Got my Moabs two years ago while I was in physical therapy following back surgery. My therapist wore them and recommended them. I love them. They're industrictable. I want a new pair but I can't get them until these wear out. My only problem is that my dog chewed up the laces and I can't find new ones. I've recommended thess to several friends and at least one has bought a pair and loves them. Can't wait to get my next pair.

This pair of MOAB shoes was a replacement for a pair bought in 2012. They fit like the 2012 MOAB's and hope they last as long. Great shoes!

My go-to daily shoe for well over 10 years...I replace the footbeds regularly. The fit is tight until the foam footbeds adjust to your feet...the laces will loosen to a perfect fit.

I had a difficult time finding a new hiking/walking shoes, in my size (7) but Merrell had the Moab 2 Ventilators, they are perfect fit and I will purchase again.

Comfortable, stylish, looks good with casual wear. Use them for all my casual needs, when wearing slacks.

These are doing the trick. I generally just like trail shoes for most of my trips, but decided to go with these for some trekking in the Alps. I have not been disappointed

I love the fit and comfort of Merrell's. The ice grip soles are the best for winter activities, providing incredible holding power on snow and pure ice.

I was concerned seeing some reviews that bemoaned the loss of one of the eyelets and suggesting that the footbed was harder than the previous generation of the Moab (BTW I switched from New Balance to Merrell because NB started using a footbed that was too hard for me) The footbed is still comfortable for me. The extra set of offset eyelets allows various lacing techniques that allow you to create leverage and tie the shoe tight to the heel. There is sufficient foam in the shoe walls that I have found the shoe to remain snug. In fact my heel is a little narrow and I often get a loose fit that I have to address with heel inserts - but the Moab fits just fine.

This is my 2nd pair of Merrell's, the first pair is still in my closet after 4 years, and I love them. The insole/arch support is a bit different than the first pair but no issues with that as of yet. Great fit and feel.

I've put these shoes through just about everything. This pair is for casual use but will be used for walking & hiking as time goes on. My last pair saw heavy use and are still going strong. After a year the sole is barely worn and the uppers as holding up well. They look well worn but that is to be expected.

Bought the non-waterproof model to use for hiking in the San Juans. I live at 8600 feet and we climb to 14,000. Lots of stream crossings in this area. I previously used waterproof and gortex boots. They always get wet a d stay wet. Looking for a better solution After much discussion I went with the non-waterproof ventilator model with outstanding drainage. Hiked today and on stream crossing stood in the water until my shoe and foot was soaked. 30 minutes later hiking on dry trail in sun my feet and shoes felt dry and comfortable. If I did this with gortex boots they would have stayed soak for the entire hike and probably most of tomorrow. I am sold on using non- waterproof shoes or boots vs gortex or other waterproof shoes in spring, summer and fall. Picked MOAB Merrill as they fit my wide foot well and are comfy out of the box with good tread. I wear 9 1/2 EE in Ariet cowboy boots and Vasque Breeze hiking boots. Wear Merrill 10W with normal socks. For hiking with cushy wool socks and sock liner 10 1/2 W are perfect. One day out of the box and hike today had no hot spots and feet felt great. The true to size rating is being realistic as to the thickness of socks I wear when hiking. With generous return policy if size is issue order both sizes a return what doesn’t fit.

Fantasic cumfortable shoe that can be worn all day without fatigue. Excellent long lasting soles that can handle both the tuffest terrain and not mark up the delicate floors.I wear them everyday at work serviceing vending machines across 3 counties.

I have plantar fasciitis and average 15k plus steps a day on the job so I need dependability and comfort. I've been wearing Merrill shoes for almost 5 years now and this is my new favorite for a wider foot adding even more comfort! Now I need to find a waterproof one for winter with the same features! My only complaint for any Merrill shoe is the soles

Great fit, lots of cushioning, and they look very good too. I mostly use these shoes for walking, typically 5+ miles, with no issues even wearing them new - straight out of the box.

I wear a wide shoe, but the Merrell wide is "extra wide". I have found that the normal width is sufficient for an E wide foot.

I bought these based on prior good experience with an older pair which has been my most comfortable walking shoe. I m pleased to report that the new shoes were as comfortable out of the box and promptly put to use accompanying grandchildren through Disneyland. My feet held up better than some other parts of my anatomy due to these Merrell MOAB's
