about 1/2 size too short. I usually wear medium width and it felt more narrow than medium. Shoe has good support and is a nice looking shoe.

Tongue is not wide enough to reach both sides of upper shoe. Otherwise, a pretty good fit.

Size was perfect, however they were really snug. The tongue is really bulky.

Chunkier than most low-hikers.

I really like how these shoes fit and feel but I can't say they are waterproof. I walk my dog in the morning and the grass is wet and dewy. My socks get soaked and it has taken a day for the shoes to dry out. It is not like I am going in puddles or inch deep water, just wet grass.

I have been wearing these shoes for about 5 or 6 months. They were awesome the first few months but then started to leak. The left one started first followed by the right one. We, the dog and I, only walk 40 - 50 minutes on a trail through the woods. The trail is some stone, some grass, and some pavement. AND my feet are wet from only morning dew. I honestly don't know if I would buy them again.

I read other reviews mentioning the same issue but thought I'd give them a try anyway. No exaggeration, as soon as I put them on my arches hurt. The arch support lands too far back- it's on the heel. These shoes were too uncomfortable so I returned them.

Ordered my usual size and it feels big. The shoe also doesn't feel like it has as much padding on the insole as my old ones. I actually haven't wore the new ones very much and keep wearing my old ones.

Not nearly as wide as my Moab 2 Vents. Not wide enough for foot and instep. Had to return them because they were too tight.

The waterproof hikers are not water proof. Walking through the dew covered grass gets my feet wet. Very disappointed

I wanted to use them on gravelly hills. For this they are great, but there is no or very little padding in the shoe and this cause my joints to ache.

Disappointed that I only had these shoes for 4 months (purchased November 2021) and both shoes already tore at the seam, inside at the heal. I like Merrell but every pair I have owned tear at the seam, inside at the heal. This pair only made it 4 months. Very disappointed.

Love this shoe but, as I learned later, the waterproofing makes it feel smaller. I needed a larger size.

The ankle area is strange on these in that the tighter I tie them the more my ankle bone rubs on the collar of the shoe. I like the ankle cut of the ON hiking shoes much better.

I found the tongue too thick & have never been able to get it properly adjusted to contour to my feet.

I've been waiting for years for Merrell to make a good women's hiking shoe that fits me. So, I was thrilled when I was able to order a Moab 2 waterproof version two years ago. The fit is fine although the sole feels a bit unforgiving until it is warmed up. The problem is that the the material on the inside heel of the right shoe has seemingly collapsed or bunched up making the right shoe uncomfortable. I just ordered a pair of the GoreTex Moab so I hope the same thing doesn't happen to them.

Terrible. One shoe felt bigger than the other. My ankle rubbed on the heel of the shoe when I walked. Wanted to try the 8.5W but you didn't have it in stock, so I ordered through Merrell. Nancy

Sadly not the Moab I was looking for. The Moab Waterproof has been my "go to" walking and everyday shoe for years. I thought this would simply be the replacement for my older pair, but two design changes mean it no longer fits my foot: 1) heavy padding added to tongue of shoe (why?) and 2) removal of the second eyelet near the ankle, meaning that the lacing can no longer be adjusted to the tightness I prefer.

I received an email from you asking for feed back a few days after I purchased these shoes, and I responded. So, this is a repeat of what I said before. I have been buying Moab 2 Ventilator wide width shoes for some years and found them very comfortable. So, I decided to buy the waterproof version. However, I found them to be very tight and stiff and returned them. Although the sole is the same width as the non-waterproof version, the top is not as high and, therefore, not as roomy for my feet. I ordered the Moab 2 Ventilator wide width instead, and I use a waterproofing spray on it.

I've always ordered a size 8 women's from Merrell, and they've always fit perfectly, even with heavier socks. This shoe fits smaller than others. My toes are bumping up against the end of the shoe, especially with heavier socks, though I can wear lighter, summer socks with them.. The shoes are marked size 8, too. My other Merrell size 8's fit like they always have, so I know my feet haven't changed.

I have owned several pairs of Merrells over the years and have been mostly satisfied. Being 68 years old now, I really need cushioning under the balls of my feet. My new Moab 2 wps don't have any (or enough) cushioning there for me to walk more than a couple of miles before the balls of my feet are burning.. My heels feel great---I could comfortably walk forever if the balls of my feet felt as good. Please design more cushioning under the balls of our feet!!

I bought these in the spring and hiked maybe 14 of the northeast 115, they made it about half way and are still waterproof but the toe started to lift on one of them.
