I enjoyed a lovely rainy hike in my Moab 2 boots. They are truly waterproof!! I jumped in puddles and hiked through mud, and my feet were dry! The only downside is that the toe box is too spacious and it didn't feel like a snug fit.

Just ok. Good looking but very heavy. Ended up with a different mesh model Merrell.

A very supportive boot. It is a big and heavy boot, actually thought it was a shoe. It's great for going off the beaten path, but just too heavy for me. I'm sorry this one wont work out for me.

I bought a 10.5 W and returned for an 11 W. Needed size up, shoe a little heavy, toe box is a good size, my size is 11W Women's. I take a 10.5 Wide Brooks Running Shoe, Dress Shoe 9.5W - Wide range of sizes for all types of shoes.

I wear wide in all shoes so I ordered a wide in a half size up after reading some reviews...bad decision. They're clunky and I don't expect them to offer the same assurance (footing) and flexibility on the trail as a properly fitting shoe. I love the thick tread on the soles, and the color is nice. I'm hoping these will be as durable as my first pair of Merrell I bought 10 years ago. Yes 10 years - the tread started detaching from the sole at about 8, but the other materials and laces are still going strong and they've been through mud, creeks, cycling, hiking, softball (not a league/team use) and some running. Returning for a smaller size and may increase my rating to 5 when they arrive and are tested.

I have worn Merrells for years, but they discontinued that style so I needed a new style. I tried these on in the store in size 7 and knew this was the style for me. I wore them around the house and wondered if they were too big so I ordered the size 6 1/2. The length was right in the 6 1/2 but the arch wasn't hitting in the right spot so I returned these and kept the size 7. I am very happy with the wide width as I have a bunion on my right foot, and these are comfortable and waterproof. I walk the dog year round and also wanted these for travel (next trip is Italy this spring).

As someone with extra wide (aka Daisy Duck) feet, I was pleased that these left plenty of room for my toes without smashing. They are a bit clunky, but I expected that from a boot product. I do wish they were a bit tighter in the heel area, or had heel lockers. They have great traction in the snow and mud, and kept the wet and cold out nicely. One other thing I'd change is to include an insert with less arch support. The supports are simple to remove however so I can get a replacement in easily.

These shoes felt pretty good, and I liked the gray color more than I thought I would. The toe box was comfortable for my wide feet, but the heal padding at the back started curving in a bit too low. It made the shoes a little uncomfortable. I returned them due to a defect in the sewing inside the left shoe. The top of the toe area had some fabric that was not smooth. It hung down enough to rub against my big toe, and I could see a nice blister in my future. I have a hard time finding good hiking shoes due to my wide feet, so I may reorder these despite the heal problem.

Sturdy sole, comfy to walk in. Not very flattering on a wide foot, but comfort makes up for it.

I bought a pair of these prior to a vacation that would require a lot of walking. I have wide, hard to fit feet, and was concerned about comfort, support, and staying dry. These turned out to be perfect. The color I preferred wasn't available, unfortunately. Fast forward a few months, and I realized I'd probably never find more comfortable shoes, so I decided I'd better order another pair while I still could (seems like I always discover things I love just before they're no longer made). They were still available, and the color I'd originally wanted were back in stock. I hope they'll be making these for many years to come!

These Merrell Vibram wide width hiking boots are comfortable, but not as wide as I thought they'd be. I ordered my normal shoe size (8.5). The toe box is a little cramped with medium weight wool socks, so will need to get thinner socks. My prior pair of Merrell Vibram high top boots (8.5W) were out of the box comfortable with no break in period needed. They do stretch out after use, so I'm thinking I'll be able to wear thicker socks after that. Also these have a little arch support which is good for my foot. Excited to wear these hiking and touring in New Zealand.

They are heavier than I expected. Merrill’s always fit me and are comfortable. These just have a very heavy sole but otherwise I love them.

everything feels great, havent had the chance to hike in them yet but break in has gone good. the wide size was what i thought it was going to be in the front but the heel was a little wider than i like and the heel slips a bit, was debating on getting the normal size but they fit so perfect in the front ive decided to keep them and wear a thicker sock.

Thank you Merrell for offering wide widths in some of your popular footwear items. I look forward to you including more and more on that list. The Moab 2 - waterproof provides a nice walking shoe for those milder than desired winter days in Michigan. No worries on the occasional puddle - the Moab 2 waterproof is up for the task.

This is my 3rd pair of Moab2 shoes. Support and stability is unbeatable. I use them as sneakers and boots year round. Big name sneakers feel like support on steroids and they choke my feet, IF I can get a wide width. These are good for me because a rigid shoe is best for my P.F. I do use orthotics; works well to remove the Merrell insert and use my own insert plus an orthotic. These run a full size small for me, especially wearing thicker winter socks.

This is my 2nd pair of Merrell Moab 2 - and it seemed just a little narrower than my previous pair. I can't say it felt a size smaller - just more narrow than before. Zappos service perfect and dependable.

Nice, lightweight hiking or walking shoes. Tested the waterproof feature only on tall wet grass and did not have any problem with that. As advertised, the back of the shoe is narrow where your heel sits. It felt a bit strange at first- I'm not used to this type of construction- but after a day of breaking them in, it felt fine. If you need extra support, I would imagine these shoes would help.

Great hiking shoe. The fit wasn't right for me, so I plan to teturn and try again. For me, they weren't all that comfortable.
