Purchased for a little hiking trip in Colorado; they worked nicely as I have had foot surgery 3 times on my right foot. I needed a "wide toe box" so I ordered a wide shoe. The shoe was great as my toes were not cramped and I did not need to stop and "rearrange" my socks and shoes as I have had to in the past. I would have liked a little more arch support but perhaps the wide was the reason I didn't feel the arch support as much as I needed. I would recommend this shoe.

These run small!! Order at least one full size up. Otherwise nice sturdy shoe.

They are waterproof!,, light, and comfortable. First pair of this style merrell. Runs at least 1/2 size small. Would buy again.

Fantastic boots. I walk 50 or more miles a week and I swear by Merrells. The only thing that keeps them from being five stars is that they're just water resistant. Ish. Walk through wet grass in them and your feet will be soaking wet in seconds.

Good support. Great grip. Confident on all terrain. Feet stay dry through wet grass. Shoes are a bit stiff and are taking some time to break in. Can't tighten the laces too tight as the tongue and upper part of the shoe dig into the top of my feet. Should soften with more wear.

This is my second pair and I'm sure not my last. The wide width is a perfect fit for me - I only wish the waterproofing lasted longer. I wear them hiking the trails and on the beach.

I love the Moab 2 for taking the dog for a walk in the rain or tramping through the woods with him.

Right from the first time I put them on they were comfortable, none of the typical breaking in. Love them

I really like these low hiker's. I have a farm and need a waterproof shoe for a daily wear. These have been great. The only reason for the 4 star is the insert/foot pad. It could use more padding. Just a bit thin for my daily wear. The wide is great in the toe box, I will make it work.

Good quality and comfortable but still too narrow and tight for my foot. I could only wear them with thin socks. I returned them for a half size up.

I love these shoes with a couple of exceptions. PROS * I love that they come in wide width. I wish all Merrells did. * The love the support at they offer. I have bad feet and most shoes lead to painful feet. But not these. * Great traction. I can go up and down pebbly and hills like a Billy goat in these and feel sure footed. CONS * They're not really waterproof. Water resistant, yes. Waterproof? Definitely not. Walking for a couple of hours in snow will lead to wet feet. Walking more than once across a creek will also result in damp feet. Not soaking. But definitely my socks get wet. * The inside of the back of the shoe breaks pretty easily. Now it dogs into the back of my foot Overall a very solid shoe, though

They are very waterproof, excellent to keep feet dry from storms. Too hot to wear in the summer. At least in Texas, they are too hot to wear during a summer rain. Your feet are dry when stepping in puddles, but the sweat is extremely bad if you wear them in warm weather.

Love these shoes - very comfortable and sturdy - I walk about 5 miles every day but when it's raining (lots here in the NW) , I come home with soaking wet feet - not waterproof. Otherwise, love'em!

Only complaint is the shielded revise to stay tied. Great quality and very comfortable.
