I bought a pair similar to these a few years back and 9.5 W and they fit great. I have sent these back for 10.0 W .... we will see if this works.
Enjoy,

This is my third pair of 13med Moab and less comfortable than the others. The left toe box is smaller and the arch support aggravates my extreme pronated arch. I read a review which indicated that this would not be an issue. I'll probably return this pair.

Very comfortable fit. I really like the shoe.
The only problem is the shoe laces came apart at the tip, after only the second time I wore them.
Got a defective set of shoe laces.
However, if Merrell replaces them, will then give them 5 stars

The Merrell Men's Moab Ventilator Hiking Shoe is better than this MOAB 2 waterproof shoe. The Original shoe is more stylish and fits better than this MOAB 2 shoe. Thinking about returning this MOAB 2 product. Haven't decided yet. Sometimes it's just best to leave a good idea as is :)

i ordered the normal medium width and they are so wide, my toes move around like crazy. I don't even know why they make these shoes in an even wider size, they are already so wide. I'll have to return them as I can see my toes getting blisters from having to much movement within the shoes.

This is my third pair of Merrells and second pair of Moabs. The first pair of Moabs had a poorly stitched liner which dug into the side of my foot. A pair of scissors took care of that issue. I got about a years worth of use out that pair before the insole broke down and I started to feel everything through the sole. This second pair is disappointing. The fit is fine but within a week i felt everything through the sole at the ball of my foot. I put another insole into the shoe and that helps but I lose some of the fit and my heel slides in the shoe. These shoes slip on wet surfaces so I'm not sure getting a waterproof pair is worth it. Overall, these are not a bad shoe but they do not fit my needs. BTW my first pair of Merrells were fantastic which is why I went back for a third try. I was hoping the second pair was the anomaly but...

Same style and size as my old ones, but seems short. I don't think going to a 13, which has never fit me, would work. Also, arch is high.

Soles ripped in about 5 months and waterproof lasted maybe 4 months. For the price, I won't buy these again.

The shoe itself was sized correctly and was very comfortable. However, the issue for me was that the shoe itself seemed "stubby". When I looked down at them on my feet they looked very short. I prefer to have a longer toe area...if that makes any sense. I ended up sending them back and chose another model.

The shoelaces provided with this shoe do not stay tied with a single bow. Mine always become loose and untied if I do not "double knot" them.
Otherwise, this is a comfortable, stable shoe. This shoelace issue is annoying.

I really have enjoyed my moans! They fit well, give good support, and meet all tasks they are out too. My only complaint was the longevity, the bases started separating from the shoe after a mere 6 months, I was disappointed after I was told that they would last many years by another Merrell wearer.

I've been wearing MOAB's since they were first released and have owned over 10 pairs. I needed a new pair of waterproof ones, so I thought Id give the new goretex MOAB 2 a shot. Im sorry I did. The new heel design is terrible. On the interior middle of the back of the heal is a zig-zag stitching pattern that irritates the heel no matter what socks I am wearing. Very disappointing and if I wasnt living overseas I would send them back for a pair of the old MOABs.

I've purchased Merrell Moab Wide Width hiking shoes in the past, all have fit and preformed great. It was time to purchase again, but the regular Moab wide widths I had previously purchased were out of stock, so I decided to go to the waterproof version. I thought the "waterproofing" would come in handy at times. Upon receipt, I noticed right away they were not as "wide" as previous Moab hiking shoes. Okay, maybe they need to be broken in. After 3 weeks of daily use, they are no were near broken in. Possibly it is the waterproofing that takes the shoe longer to break in. Time will tell. Another thing, my feet sweat and these shoes do not breath. My feet, after a day of wearing these shoes, are quite warm and sweaty. This I doubt will change in time. Will I buy Merrell's Moab's again? Yes, but not the waterproof ones. If I decide to go waterproof, I'll spend the extra dollars on the Gore-tex ones, as those will most likely breath a little.

Comfortable but flimsy. I bought these for trail hiking, but there's no support at all

My Moab 2 waterproof wide width Merrell shoes were not waterproof by the 5th or 6th outing. Only wore them for 6 early morning golf outings in short grass with dew. I'm a 6 handicapper so generally not in the longer grass. Don't see how the webbed fabric could be waterproof over time.

Bought for the additional width but did not expect the huge toe box. The wide width came with about an inch of extra space above my foot. Sent them back.

So small I could not get the shoes on. Moab3 ordered same time and same size fits perfectly. Unfortunately none of Merrell seems to have the padding they once had
I'd also recommend:
I wear Merrell just about exclusively.

Most times I order online a size ten it fits wonderfully. This shoe was too small. It fit like a 9 1/2. I love Merrell brand but was disappointed in this online experience.

These shoes have had very little use since purchase. However, I am very disappointed with the "waterproof" claim. Until recently, I have not used these shoes in any wet weather but now am walking thru wet morning lawns. And the shoes are definitely NOT waterproof. My toes and socks are wet after each use. I have contacted Merrell but they will not assist with a replacement as I purchased these over a year ago. Normally I would understand this position but these shoes are otherwise in excellent condition other than the lack of waterproofing.

The shoes are comfortable. The insole of the left shoe has a crease in it, and I had taken it out on several occasions to smooth it out, but it kept coming back. I had to use an insole from another brand shoe to finally make it comfortable.

I have another pair of Merrells that I really like. However I need an extra wide and "wide" was not enough for me.
