Bought specifically for Lewis and Clark Adventure, hiking in the Bitterroot Mtns. Uphill 9 hours with no problems on Wendover Trail. Easy on and off for 80yo with little flexibility.

Great boots - Comfortable right out of the box. No break in period needed. Without a doubt the most comfortable boots I have ever owned

Ready to go out of the box. This is the 4th pair in a row for me and I have no desire to change boots. Made well and wear well.

I am 62 and wear these over ten hour a day 6 days a week for work. I average 20,000 steps a day. At the end of the day my feet are tied, but not soar and still feel comfortable in the boots

This is my 7th pair of moab 2s. Wear them everyday for work and play. The best most comfortable hiker that I've found.

So far so good. These shoes feel great! First pair of Merrell mids. I usually wear Teva arrow wood riva mids. Last year I did purchase a pair of Merrell pull ons for around the house and the reason I've tried Merrell is it's all about the vibram. I exclusively look for shoes that use vibram soles. I have flat feet and depend on vibram for comfort and to avoid fatigue on my feet.
I'd also recommend:
Teva arrowood Riva mid/ Timberland Chelsea boots

These are the most comfortable boots I have ever used right of out of the box. Went on a 6 mile hike with about 20 lbs pack. They are super lightweight, seem very good quality, and are very comfortable. The boots are perfect for hot weather they breathe great my feet never sweat during my hike.

It does not matter what you are doing outdoors . Your shoes will keep you comfortable and dry. Been wearing Merrell for at least the last 10 years. Wont but any other.

Love these boots for lightweight hiking. Comfortable and feels the terrain well through the sole. My go-to for summer and fall jaunts without a pack or with a daypack.

Great for high adventure canoeing. Took them up to northern tier Ely and Bissett over the years. Comfortable. Drains easy. Lightweight. Lots of traction. Perfect for the conditions there. One of the best pieces of gear I brought.

I bought my first pair of Merrell Moab boots probably 15-years ago. I found that the wide toe box in the medium width boot is very comfortable for all day wear. Since then I wear Moabs exclusively and over the last few years have two identical pairs that I alternate days with. That gives one pair a chance to dry out after walking the dog in the field (or after a long day working in the field) while I wear the second pair. I also have a third pair with the waterproof liner. These I buy one-half size larger than my normal size because the liner makes them a little smaller than normal. In addition I get a little room for a heavier sock. These are my winter boots when it is wet or snowy. We do not have the super cold days here in northern Nevada that exist in other parts of the country, but we do have some snow. The regular Moab boots last me about two years, with two pairs worn in rotation. I walk quite a few miles, so I think I get my money's worth from them.

I like them a lot. Comfortable with good support for weight/style. Had to send back my 9s as they were too small, needed 9.5 to fit. I wear 9 in Danner, Redwing, Adiddas etc. The 9s were noticeably smaller than those so I'd say they do run small. Even normal width is great and I am sensitive to narrow footwear.

The Moab boot is awesome, great traction and slippery conditions cool and hot conditions very reliable and very durable. Merrill do not change a thing with these boots, please do not be like other companies and try to make something better or more complicated and get rid of what works. Merrell do not change a thing about these boots, please do not be like other companies and get rid of a design that has worked for so many years do not change anything.

Merrell has always been my choice for good footwear. I have a large bone spur in the heel of my left foot. I have tried Dr Scholl's foot pads of all sorts in other boots that I wear and they do not do the job. Since I have purchased these Moab 2 mid Ventilator Boots, my feet have felt 100% more comfortable. I still get some pain in my left heel, but nothing like it was before. Yay Merrell

I like to wear these while riding my motorcycle during hot weather. They offer over the ankle protection and keep my feet cool. When the ride ends I'm ready to walk with great comfort.

Wide width is accurate, and shoe is very comfortable. Light and cool. Could use a little more arch support, which I easily upgraded by putting in a Dr. Scholl's insert.

Really can't go wrong with these. My first pair lasted 5 years doing many 20 milers and mountain climbs. The lack of any waterproof liner allows your feet to breathe like trail runners but unlike trail runners these offer much more support
