I used these shoes twice in Iraq - each pair lasted a good year, which is rare for me - money well spent and very good performance for the daily desert grind.

Just finished a cruise of nine days and wore these Moab's the whole time. On landing and on Sea. My ankles didn't bother me in the least. Incredibly comfortable boot. I loved them so much I bought another pair.

I've purchased many Moab 2 hiking shoes the past 5 years. They all were consistent fit and quality. My feet began hurting after hiking about a year ago and I didn't understand why. As it turns out my feet were a wide fit not just a little wide fit but a true wide fit. These new wide fit took all of the feet pain away when I'm hiking. I think there is no better hiking shoe than the Moab 2.

Tough pair of shoes, use it for work as well as going on hikes with family

After a 12 day backpacking trek at Philmont Scout Ranch, i accepted the reality that trying to keep your feet dry with waterproof boots in heavy rain and with several stream crossings was not possible. I switched to the Moab 2 Mid Ventilator and continued to rely on quality Merino wool socks. Yes, my feet will get wet, but the wool socks and my activity keeps my feet warm and these boots actually dry out much faster than any waterproof boot. I still have several pairs of gortex-lined boots, but for multi-day backpacking trips when the weather is above freezing, i really like the Moab 2 Mid Ventilators. They broke in fairly quick and are reasonably comfortable. I don't believe they would support a really heavy pack, but if you can keep you load down to ~40 lbs or less, I think these provide decent stability and good traction.

I bought this boots for work as I am on my feet a lot during 10 hours shifts. I also use them for hiking on my off time and they have held up great. They give excellent ankle support and the ventilation keep my feet from sweating to much in them.

Wore these Merrells when I did the Zumba on the downhill run to Papeete. Worked Great!

Bought the boots for hiking in the Banff National Park - Lake Louise, Beehive, Columbia Icefield, etc). Very comfortable boots from Day 1 with virtually no break-in required. I bought the Ventilator version because the waterproof versions get a little hot especially in summer. Great trip, great boots.

I have got into rockhounding recently and my work boots were terrible at climbing trails and standing on rocky inclines. My new Moab 2 hiking boots changed my life. Comfort and traction are awesome!

I like Merrell shoes! I think this is my 3-4 pair And they are tough and comfortable. That's all a shoe has to do. I have other family members wearing Merrell shoes and boots.

The sizes seem to run a size larger than previous years. Still the same great shoe though as always. I've been wearing the same model, Moab 2 for over 5 years now.

Using these for work. On my feet all day and they offer good support and comfort. They seem to be holding up well but only had them for a couple of months. Ordered 1/2 a size bigger than normal and fit perfectly. So far so good.

So comfortable from day one, didn't require any break in before I was on the trails!

Comfortable And Toe Wiggling Roomy! I Am Completely Satisfied!

Bought these for my son and I. Out of the box they were super comfortable, did lots of hiking in Montana, long day hikes including the Livingston Peak trail. Boots held up great. The soles are just a tad soft for me but really a great boot.

Since finding these hiking shoes 7 years ago, I have never bought anything else. I'm on my 3rd pair. I hike a lot, but I also wear them all day. Regardless of activity.

They fit well and are very comfortable with good support.

Very light yet sturdy. Great ankle support and Vibram grip.
