Great all around hiking boot. Only thing that was lacking was better bottom of foot protection from pointy rocks. The shank needs to extend to the ball of the foot but if you do that you lose some flexibility so I gave them 5 stars.

Great boot for wet water portaging in the boundary waters near Ely Minnesota. Excellent traction and drying capabilities.

Fit my wide feet well (12 wide). This augments a pair I've been wearing which replaced a pair I had been wearing, and so on. Tried a few other manufacturers - more, less and similarly priced... and always get back to these.

I'm very hard on my shoes. Most shoes last me about 6 months. These lasted about 15. It is hard these days to find quality shoes.

I have worn the low version of Moab ventilators for 15 years every day all over the world. If I only had one pair of shoes, thesec would be the ones. I had never worn a pair of the mid ventilators thinking they would be clunky. Boy was I wrong! They are light, nimble and so supportive I wear them all day when doing chores or for hiking the Sierras. I will never go with a pair of the mids to go with my lows and I encourage you to do the same. Youll be glad you did.

I wear them everyday for work and love them. I work in corrections and walk about 5-6 miles a day at work in an 8 hour shift. I have had issues with plantar fasciitis and Merrells have been a great for that

At 74 years of age I finally found the best hiking shoes I have ever owned.

I have used Merrell boots since the very beginning, in the early 80's when the boots were made in the USA. After thousands of miles and too many boots to count I can confidently state that they have and still are the very best boots for my feet. I have worn out several pair of MOABs and just bought a new pair, probably my last due to my age and physical condition. I have never been disappointed by Merrell boots....never.

Great shoes for outdoor use. Shoes were used on a 6 day canoeing trip in the Minnesota Boundary Waters and were excellent.

Comfortable out if the box. The wide width is a blessing. These replaced a pair of low MOABs and I love them. Not too heavy, very supportive.

These boots were a great option for portaging and canoeing in the BWCA. They are relatively lightweight, breathable when wet and offered support for carrying large and heavy items over uneven ground. I am glad I purchased these. Minimal break in required.

Best shoe out there for so many things. I ha e worn these camping and hiking all over Idaho,Washington, Montana, Utah, and Arizonia. They are my every day wear and provide the comort and support my feet need. As someone with feet issues, I could not ask for a better shoe.

I have had a pair of the mid ventilator for 12 years. Finally wore them out. Due to a foot problem I needed a wider boot for one foot. These fit great even with one boot being a little too wide for my other foot. No break in time or blisters straight out of the box. Hope these last me 12 years.

This is my third pair and could not be happier with the comfort of these hiking shoes. I spend lots of time in the outdoors so I almost wear them full-time! Great shoes!

Broke them in for 5 mi at my local park. Currently put over 24 mi on them in Grand Teton national Park in two days, no blisters. Hopefully another 10 before I leave

We took these shoes on a canoeing trip where they were wet most of the time. Drained and dried fast and never slipped. Great shoe!
