Very pleased with these boots. They are lightweight, supportive and highly functional for outdoor activities of all kinds. Truly a go-to item for daily use.

Bought these for my boyfriend who is on his feet all day. He was wearing gym sneakers before and he has commented that these are a game changer. He says his feet don't hurt at the end of the day and that they feel very sturdy. The shoe also provides great ankle support.

I received my new pair of men's Moab 2 and was excited to go for a hike. My wife and I hiked Mendon Ponds East Esker with a couple of friends and all I did was rave about how comfortable my new hiking shoes were. Bought them for an upcoming trip to hike the Dolomites in Italy!! Love my new shoes and love Merrill's customer service!! Company stands behind its products!!

since the first pair of Merrell shoes that I bought, the size and quality has been consistent. They were delivered in a timely manner as promised and fit perfectly. I walk over a half a mile in and out of my job every day And know I can put the shoes on and take the hike with no apprehension at all.

Lightweight comfortable and breathable. True to size. Medium width fits my narrow heel nicely.

These replaced a pair of 3 year old Merrill hiking boots that were very similar. Much improved in fit and comfort. Very comfy right out of the box - will need some breakin to get to the comfort level of the old boots. This maintains my number of Merrill shoes at 5 pairs. Good quality and they last.

I have to agree with others about out of the box fit and comfort. But now the real test begins. I won't be walking the entire Appalachian Trail with them, but I'll expedite the wear by walking only 3~4 miles a day on manicured trails thru local parks and woods. My size is the extreme test of this boot. I'm 6'3" and weigh 320 lbs. I completely break down the insoles of other boots in 6 months or less. I've had these Moab mid ventilator's for about a month now. They still feel good and the only thing I've noticed is the heels feel like there are two little "lumps" appearing, one on each side of my heel. Not sure if that is part of the construction, or if they are showing wear. Outsides still look like new. I'll update my findings in a month or two. So far, very pleased. - Sasquatch

As some one who usually ops for a trail runner over a boot I fell in love with these as soon as I put them on. They provide great comfort, awesome grip thanks to their Vibram soles, and they look great. As a student studying recreation with an emphasis outdoor adventure I need a boot that can go through where and tear while also keeping my feet happy and these boots do exactly that.

These Moab Ventilators are the best in comfort! I have a low cut original pair of moabs' & now the mid moab 2 . Love them both. Comfort, true to fit, durable. You will not be disappointed & your feet will sing in happiness.

A little too wide but still a good boot. I tried "the other guy's boot" and I will not mention their name. My feet were getting wet after about 4 months. Not a good boot at all for surveying. Maybe for putting on once in a while for a weekend hike but not for my profession.

Arch inserts did not fit my arch. There was a spot on my arch where a hot spot was just waiting to happen. I don't know if it's my feet or the boots but it just wasn't comfortable.

I've had these Merrells for many years. I've used them for local rough hikes, long and short hikes of every kind. They've come with me on canoe trips in Maine and up in northern Saskatchewan and just walking around. Very comfortable. Grip all surfaces well. Light weight. But...I must add that they all have had a problem with the sole coming slightly detached from the uppers and causing them to leak moisture into the boot. Not good.

I may change this after a couple of months but with my break in walking, I can give it 4 stars. I will be heading out to AZ to give them a good work out Dec/Jan and will have a better idea of how they will hold up. Only a couple miles in and the shoe is still stiff but fit well.

I love these boot I use for work, but wearing them for a few hours still results in sweaty feet. I would purchase them again but make sure you wear good socks for moisture wicking

These boots really compliment your legs and body, they do feel great when walking up and down trails. Oh and most definitely are water proof, kepy my feet dry and cozy. Overall they feel great and look awesome. 4 stars because I did have to get use to the boot or break them in a little. Bottom of my foot felt like nerves were getting pulled or something. But when I tightend my laces at the tongue it went away maybe I had it too loose and caused my foot to slip into weird positions causing my foot muscle some pain.

Overall, comfortable and light, which is what I wanted. The shank is a bit weak, so I feel stones more than I'm used to. These will be used for trails, and I will use my less comfortable but tougher boots for the rocky stuff.

A nice pair of hiking shoe, comfortable for a 13 miles hike. This is my first pair of hiking shoe made by Merrell. Most of my hiking shoes are made by Columbia. I will find out if this pair last for 6 months.

Was a very good show when going throught the waters of northern tier but the one thing was that they took hours to dry when not on feet.
